They could have 'repaired' my broken screen but were honest and for $15 replaced screen protector.

S.I have used these people a couple of times in the past to replace the screen on my iphone (they did a good job). This time though, the screen on my Surface Pro 4 was bulging and was getting worse. I took it in, they instantly diagnosed the problem, the battery was deteriorating and expanding, so pushing out the screen. The solution was a replacement battery, but there was a risk, the scereen would be damaged beyond repair. However they managed to replace the battery and the screen was fine. A great job, done well, and quickly, at a reasonable price. I will use them again.

T.I didn’t think my iPad mini 5 was fixable. It had got caught in the spokes of my friends bike when I forgot to tell her it was in my bag. It was bent and cracked. They had to order the parts in and 2 weeks later I have it back and I’m so happy with the results.

J.I had the misfortune of water damaging my phone twice within the space of a few days 🤣The shop repaired my phone after the first episode & then kindly didn't charge me to assess the phone, attempt to dry it out the second time & then transfer my data to my new phone provided by insurance. Both times they loaned me a phone to use until I no longer needed it & also gave my partner some free advice about an issue he was having. We would highly recommend them 😀

D.I thought my laptop would need a new screen after I dropped it. The corner got smashed and caused the hinge to start coming apart. I could see it strain every time I opened and closed it.
These guys were able to fix it in a fix days using some ingenuity and creativity to hold the corner together safely with a few small screws so I didn’t have to replace the entire screen and metal casing! Very thankful. Thanks team.
We call the new tiny screws in the corner the laptop’s “jewelry”. Affordable too as it cost $150.

I.I don't post reviews very often as I'm pretty busy, but I had to in this case as I've just had a very good experience with this company.
I've rated them as 5 stars in all respects, great friendly professional service and manner, very fast service in repairing my phone and it cost less than I was expecting.
I'd highly recommend this business and will be using them again.

N.I had great service from Gaurav and his team at Budget Mobiles and Computers. Needed a replacement screen for my Samsung S10+ and while there's not alot they can do about the cost of such work, they provided same day service (when larger companies said it would take at least a 7 day turnaround) and were very accommodating - even provided me with a 'courtesy' phone while mine was with them so I could stay connected. When the application of the screen cover I bought wasn't 'quite right' in their own opinion (I wouldn't have known otherwise), they replaced it with another free of charge when more came in stock. That only took 15 minutes to sort and I am back to good as new again. Happy to support this small local business on the basis of this experience. Thanks for your service Guarav and team. :)
F.I cracked the screen of my iphone 7 but my apple LCD was undamaged and I only wanted the glass replaced. These guys are the only ones in Tauranga who can do it! $99 and job done within 3 hours. I am thrilled! Bought a tempered glass screen protector and robust case from them too so that I (hopefully) don't encounter the same problem! Awesome service, awesome quality of work. A+

S.I went in there thinking that my Samsung S9 phone screen was cracked so I ask for it to be replaced. A few mins after dropping off my phone, the owner of the shop called to advise that it was the screen protector that cracked and not the screen. So, only need to replace the screen protector which was only 1/10th the price of replacing the whole screen which I was prepared to pay for had the screen been broken. Glad to have an honest business owner and thank you very much for the prompt service.
m.The battery replacement was fast, but it seems they broke the headphone jack in the process. However, it has begun working again a few days after the repair. Maybe they need to take more care to prevent contamination in the phone's components. But it's fast, that cannot be taken away. Possible within a lunch break.

Went to budget mobile and computer repairs in the morning and dropped off my phone 9am. By 15:00 the phone was fixed for 150 dollars. Highly recommended!
L.It is generally very expensive to repair a broken sreen on samsung s8, so ridiculous, but those guys at budget mobiles are professionals, they work fast, they are friendly and they even beat a price of their competitors so i am happy and appreciate their service, definitely the cheapest in tauranga. They repaired my phone the same day i brought it in, thank you guys.

R.My Galaxy Note 2 had a broken screen. Omnitech in the bayfair mall they'd send it away and order a part which would take three weeks. These guys did it overnight and a little cheaper too.
They also told me that if I was only replacing the glass there might be problems with bubbles behind the glass. They told me upfront there were no guarantees. Other repair companies only admitted this when asked. However the screen was replaced bubble free and works like new. Satisfied customer.
