Gr8 service. Some other cellphone repair place busted up my phone, so I left it at CellCity to get looked at. Turns out motherboard and therefore phone was irreparable - however, not CellCity’s fault, obviously. And still, they were so great I had a charging port component replaced, free of charge. Thought my phone needed charger port replacement - guy cleaned it out in 1 minute and it worked fine - didn’t charge me anything. If he was a cowboy he would have replaced the port and charged me $80ish. Great service 👏🏼

What a great company. Most phone repair companies are rude, standoffish and act like they are doing you a favor but not CellCity on Vivan street. Was so happy to get my Samsung fixed so quickly. This team is the best in town hands down

I went to CellCity to get my iPhone SE repaired due to PB Tech recommending their services. I dropped my iPhone on a hard concrete surface screen face down, since then the screen had been completely unresponsive to touch input. I was very impressed by the staff at CellCity, particularly Richard who went above and beyond to make amends for the initially poor job of the screen repair done. They also replaced my iPhone SE battery with an alternative "after market" battery. Unfortunately this battery did not perform anywhere near as well as the stock Apple batteries and would often last less than 4 hours between charges which was nightmare material given the intensive use of Google Maps I had at the time. I would not recommend these batteries, all though according to the staff this battery was a rare exception and the lack of performance was due to a bad batch. They replaced my battery with a 91% full official iPhone battery and battery life has since returned to normal. The reason I am giving CellCity a 4 star was mostly due to the staff being tremendously understanding and professional at all times with each issue presented. I am pleased to say my iPhone SE is now working as good as ever. Thanks CellCity.

I dropped my OnePlus 6 when I got out of an Uber on Thursday last week (07/11/2019) and shattered the screen rendering it unusable. On Monday (11/11/2019) I called around various places comparing and contrasting options. Most places said it would take 2-4 weeks to order in the parts and that repairs may take a few days. CellCity got the replacement screen in overnight and repaired it immediately, so fast in fact that I wasn't expecting it to be complete and had to reorganize plans to go get my newly fixed phone! Great job 10/10 would recommend.

Absolute incredible customer service! I had a battery replaced 10 months ago, the new battery sadly suffered a fault, so I took it into Cell City (Wellington) with the intention of ordering a new battery or cut my losses and replace my phone entirely. Despite my battery being well out of their warranty period, the technician found a spare/second hand battery in his workshop and gave it to me for free as well as replacing my phone's back plate at no cost! These guys care about their customers and their service. Got a customer for life here!

Took my grandson in to have the battery in his iPhone 5S replaced. Replacement was done in about 10 minutes. We tested the newly installed battery and noted that it was indeed a new battery with zero charge cycles and 100% of manufactured capacity. (this battery replaced an old, used battery that was installed by another local vendor the day before and after that replacement we discovered that the battery was used and old). CellCity replaced the bad battery with a new one and gave us back the bad battery replaced just the day before. Service was great, polite, professional and quick. I highly recommend CellCity based on our excellent experience.

Awesome service. Having spent weeks with intermittent poor wifi reception on my iPhone 6, I tried every recommended software and firmware fix to no avail. I took my phone to cellcity in Lower Hutt. They fitted a new antenna but this didn't solve the problem so they then took the phone apart again and discovered a poor solder joint. They fixed this at no extra charge and I now have the fastest wifi ever. Thanks cellcity. When everyone else was suggesting I needed a new phone you managed to restore my old friend to full health. I had my iPhone 5 for 3 years without any problems, dropped it last week in a puddle and it cracked the screen and got wet. I took the phone into CellCity in Wellington they kindly replaced the screen for me and cleaned out all of the water for free. They up sold me to a better case and screen protector which they installed. Thanks for all your help guys I will be highly recommending your services!

Cell city is a gem of a spot! Jeff was incredible and helped me in a real tight spot. I had a very short period of time to get my phone fixed and he took it in right away, even though it would normally have taken longer to do. Then he went above and beyond and waited after closing when I was stuck in horrible traffic behind an accident on the highway trying to get back to the shop. From the professional expertise, very reasonable pricing and customer service- Jeff and his team are great and I would recommend anyone go here! Thanks Jeff!

2 cracked screens in two months. My fault both times but an expensive inconvenience at $130 a pop. First time experience with panama st office was great from start to finish.they quoted a one hour turnaround. 2nd time visit to Vivian st office -today initial interaction was a little standoffish because I asked whether the quoted repair time was due to technical factors but I think the repairer thought I was being critical or impatient as he retorted that a repair is normally 2 hours quite tersely but in fact I was just being curious. Anyway when I returned in 55 minutes the phone was already done and working well. The interaction this time was much more pleasant and convivial, and he advised me on possible screen protector options. Thanks I would recommend both offices again without hesitation.

Dropped my Iphone 5 in after it was fully submerged in water. They guys did an analysis, cleaned up the internal hardware which had a corrosive build up, replaced the battery and replaced the charging unit. cost $170 altogether which was a lot cheaper than the alternative new phone option. Gave it in at lunch and they had it done before the end of the day. Would highly recommend these guys, no fuss and good work.

After smashing my iPad screen, I phoned around and got quotes. People were charging such a lot of money and would need the iPad for too long. When I phoned Cell City, I was delighted. I could have it back in 24 hours and it was half the cost!! In the end it was same day. I had added extra for a courier to deliver. They even rang to check it had arrived ok. Turned up in store with broken Samsung S10 vol button that had split and fallen out of phone. After a quick search in store through a bunch of old parts phones, a matching S10 was found, my button remnants removed and working button swapped in while I waited. Phone now as new again - can't thank Cell City Vivian enough, especially as no charge for this 'non standard' repair! 👍👍👍
