Initially popped in to the Willis St store to get some advice regarding a tablet I though was dead. Was advised that the battery just needed to be replaced and was given a quote. Accepted quote, dropped tablet in for repair and had back within a week. Always worth asking if anything can be done. Tablet was headed for landfill so I'm super happy. Great communication, friendly service. Highly recommend.

Graham provided a great phone repair service. The phone needed a new home button and screen so once I dropped it in to be serviced it was ready within a few hours. Communication and service was brilliant. I would definitely recommend and use Fonebitz services again. Thanks so very much for a prompt and friendly service😀

I received excellent service at Fonebitz Willis st. Wellington recently. The staff were so incredibly helpful and most of all patient with a techno phobic dinosaur such as myself. I was most impressed that I wasn’t charged for the time ( seemed like hours) they spent on me, only charging me for the phone I purchased from them. I will definitely go back there and recommend the place to anyone.

Went into the store to enquire about fixing our store phone. Graham was great he checked all settings to see if it was a quick fix but it was not, he quoted the prices and services and a time frame, awesome service, had our store phone back within 2 hours, highly recommended them, and Graham was very friendly

Mel at Willis St was really helpful, polite, professional and personable. Seriously quick in doing the repairs too. I have used these guys for several years and now won’t go anywhere else when sorting my phone issues. When I get service like this it’s worth sharing.

I recently had the nightmare of dropping my iPhone down the loo! Ironically it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as whilst it was beyond repair - Fonebitz - Mel & Graham - not only found me an affordable iPhone upgrade / replacement, they facilitated and managed the entire transfer for me. They went way beyond the call of duty. I am enormously grateful to Fonebitz as the effort, action, energy, tech knowledge and bloody patience they exhibited in assisting me was really highly commendable. Mel especially - thank you. Fantastic service, quick, friendly and honest. Can’t ask for better. My go-to phone repair place in Wellington CBD. Will return whenever I need phone servicing; even if I could attempt it myself, this option is much better and far less hassle.

Assistant was helpful and friendly and solved my issue and taught me how to solve it myself next time.

These folk are fantastic. Purchased Samsung A12 last week, which went weird and kept switching itself off and on three days later. Replaced yesterday, same model and last night it wouldn't recognize the password. Retailer wouldn't help. But Mel at Fone Bitz sorted it. Awesome service.

I had a good and friendly experience when I bought a phone case and screen protector from here.

I had a great experience with Fonebitz. I came in with my S7 phone, which had a shattered camera lens and backplate. The staff talked me through what would be needed to fix it, and completed the task in an hour or so. When I collected the phone they explained the warranty. All in all I felt my phone was in good hands. I hope I don't have any further need for repairs, but if I do, I know where to go!

Mel at Fonebitz was super helpful. The team are extremely knowledgeable and trust worthy. My screen is broken and barely works, Mel was able to unlock my phone and even show me how to back my photos, all within 10 minutes of being in the shop. Highly recommend the service of Fonebitz.

I had a water damage on my Huawei phone and needed quick repair as I was only traveling through. Another company told me it would take two weeks to change the damaged charging port. The guys from fonebitz were able to promise me a repair in 2-3 days. Eventually my phone was ready for collection after 36h only and now it works again. Staff is really friendly and they are willing to help in any way they can. Thanks so much! Price was nearly 50% cheaper than the offer from the other repair shop.

Recently cracked my Samsung Note 9 screen. Fonebitz gave me the best quote. Nice friendly service and communication. My phone came up like it was straight out of the box. Thank you for an amazing job.

Excellent service and very friendly staff. My microphone stopped working on my Samsung J3 2017. They assessed the phone to determine the problem and then ordered the part required and when it arrived they fitted it, on both occasions this was turned around within a day. From what I understand this is a tricky phone to service, but it now works perfectly. Also they discount the assessment fee ($30) off of any parts/work required! Would highly recommend.

Words cannot describe how happy i was with the staffs service especially when they had the phone part i needed for my Samsung S2 after a disappointing visitation to cell city which i made a phone call just at the end of December 15. Never the less... I have my precious photos back that cannot be replaced so thank you team for all your hard work. You should be proud of yourselves because i am a very very happy customer. The screen went dead on my iPhone. They said it would cost $120 and take 2 hours to fix but it was ready in 1 & half. Friendly and efficient service. I was initially concerned due to the number of bad reviews they had but they were close to my work and I wanted by phone fixed fast. No complaints from me!

Amazing service! The back and front of my iphone were both smashed to bits. They gave me a good deal o getting both replaced. Had options of fake pieces, genuine apple replacement pieces and also second hand genuine pieces for any price in case you cold not afford a full replacement with brand new bits. Friendly, helpful, done in two hours. Definitely recommend. Far better than other places I have been to in Wellington. =)

I sought out Fonebitz after reading a couple of negative reviews about Fonefix, and Fonebitz were local, which was a bonus. I received a prompt call the next day confirming that not only had my phone been received but the repair had been completed. I was impressed. I also received very valuable information about my phone. It had been sold to me as "new" but was in fact "refurbished" Ouch! All big brand suppliers I went to were very territorial, treating me as a second class customer and ostracizing me because I had not bought the phone from them. I bypassed this nonsense happily by going to Fonebitz who were most pleasant and helpful to deal with.Spark even had the nerve to quote $60 more for exactly the same repair job, with a longer wait time guaranteed. I am extremely happy with the service provided by Fonebitz. If you are tired of being bullied , steamrolled and hoodwinked by the big players and simply want an honest and efficient cellphone repair, look no further. Well done!

These guys fixed my water-damaged iPhone5 phone quickly and at a good price. And then when it spat the dummy a few days later, they fixed it again at no additional charge. Steven is honest and reliable and knows his stuff. Recommend+

Friendly, helpful, professional, cheap and fast! Service was much better than I hoped for.

I broke my screen on my Iphone 6 plus and visited David at the Lambton Quay store. He advised the cost and said he would let me know within the hour if he could source a screen as he was out of stock. Just over an hour later I received an email from David saying my phone was fixed!!! I called back and he had fitted a new screen. Super quick service and knowledgeable - what more can you ask for? I can not speak highly enough of this company. Dont go anywhere else for getting your phone fixed.

I lost the little screw driver for my leaf, I thought I'd have to order one from the US and wait weeks for it, but these guys had me fixed up in less than a minute. Then they took electronics recycling off my hands for free and took a working but 5 year old phone to evaluate for purchasing! They saved me time and money :)

These guys are awesome!! My dual SIM Motorola phone worked fine for 6 months then suddenly stopped working for the Spark network. Leo at Spark was really helpful, wasn't able to sort out the problem, but suggested I try Fonebitz. Many thanks Leo - brilliant suggestion. Trevor at Fonebitz spent quite a bit of time on what was a busy Saturday morning. Eventually worked out what the problem was and sorted it out for me. After all that, didn't charge me. That would have to be the best customer service I have ever received. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Great informed staff. Took phone in for repair and had it back within 20mins. Very reasonable prices, was cheaper than expected by $20. They also did a range of tests on the phone for free to make sure the phone was working as it should (samsung s4).

Very good customer service but I waited 3 weeks for a phone battery. Is not directly their fault and they refunded me straight away (was a substitution of a faulty one) but I still waited 3 weeks instead of the promised 3 days.

Asked them to repair a pixel 3 phone and replace the camera which I supplied. After the first repair many sensors stopped working but they willingly fixed it without question.

Took my phone from Australia to Fonebitz as it would not work and had a message of No Service. Trevor was excellent in assessing my phone and making it operational for me. Fonebitz were super helpful and I would recommend them to anyone especially travellers who have connection problems with overseas phones.

These guys are good. Fast, friendly and efficient. I would recommend to anyone who has a cracked screen on an expensive phone and wants it fixed quickly (an hour or two) with minimum fuss.

I have taken in two iPhones and one iPad to be fixed in the past month. The staff were helpful and professional. I was really impressed with the speed they took to fix them. I highly recommend this service.

Saw them a month ago as I had cracked my glass screen protector on S7..the nice guy fixed it on the spot and it was $25 ..then today I had smashed my camera lens ..they quoted both prices for lens screen and camera just in case..the only had to replace screen $ 70 which was fantastic..Willis st branch had it fixed in 30 minutes...awesome people..!!!

As we headed into COVID Level 4 lockdown and working from home, I realised that now was the time that I finally needed to bite the bullet and purchase a smartphone. Mel provided fantastic service by helping me to select a phone and then setting up the key apps that I knew I would need. It was very painless and very quick. When the cord on the charger mysteriously stopped working 2 months later she identified the problem and provided a replacement. I would definitely shop there again.

These peeps are the best! Whether it's sourcing an old, elusive charger in a hurry, or resetting a phone that stubbornly refused any resets until then, they really are awesome!
