I was recommended by my neighbour to see Dr Cassie because I have been suffering from really bad lower back pain for a few years. Last year, my pain got worse and I could hardly walk around for an hour without intense pain on my buttocks and lower back. After getting adjusted by Cassie a few times, she literally fixed my back. I have also recommended my husband to see her! Definitely something worth investing looking after your spine. Highly recommend.

I first approached Shannon as I attend the crossfit gym attached to her practice. I have certain pain in my ankles after long walks or grueling workouts and Shannon identified what the problem is stemming from and how to treat it. I have always suffered with my ankles having bilateral talapes as a child. Prior to seeing Shannon it had been about pain management but after seeing her we have looked at how to rectify the problem longterm. Shannon didn't adjust me until she had done a full consultation and looked over my x rays. I had never been to a chiropractor before and was slightly nervous with how I would feel afterwards. Shannon put me at ease and explained what she was doing and why she was doing it. 8 months later I feel such a difference in my posture and my ability to recover after workouts. I no longer feel the pain I once had. I have started to look to Shannon as a health practitioner aswell as a chiropractor and on multiple occasions have been to see her when I have generally felt unwell. I love Shannon. Before her I went to another chiropractor in Auckland who was great until he made a rude remark and no way was I returning. When a friend recommended Shannon I went hoping for a person who was understanding, knowledgeable, kind and considerate of my sensitive toddler who would often need to be with me at the app. Shannon exceeded my expectations. She treats you with respect and explains things well in terms of how your body is functioning and what it needs. I have been seeing Shannon for a couple of years now and can honestly say hand on heart she is the best chiropractor I have met. I have been seeing Osteopaths and Chiropractors on and off for 33 years after severe back injury and then a less than successful knee operation. I had a very negative view of chiropractors until I was recommended Shannon. Her knowledge of the body and her skill to align my body gently without using force is superb. As I got stronger she encouraged me back into the gym, recommending quality trainers and over the last 18 months I have gone from fearing movement to being able to do things I never imagined possible, like being able to squat 77.5kg and deadlift 110kg - this after having been told by another medical professional I should stop all weight bearing exercise to preserve my joints and protect my knees. Never in my life would I have imagined I would be as fit as I am, in fact Im the fittest I been since a teenager. It's been an amazing journey of trust. Thank you Shannon! Life changer!

Shannon looked after me before, during, and now after my pregnancy with my daughter and I can honestly say I will never (willingly 😂) go without regular adjustments from her especially during pregnancy, they made such a big difference with every aspect especially the horrible sciatica I had. The adjustments helped keep my baby in prime position for birth, and she also checked my baby and I after she was born which helped improve my babies colic. I highly recommend her services for anyone wanting spealised care for pregnancy and babies!
