Reviews of St. Andrews Church

One of the nicest examples of a church built in the Selwyn style, this little Church has a long history...some of which can be guessed at by the graveyard monuments in the grounds. The wooden church is painted white and has an attractive spire. The grounds outside could use some additional attention but are reasonably tidy...just the ground is uneven in places and tree roots have pushed plaques out of the way and impeded some of the monuments.

A beautiful Anglican Church, when visiting a night it makes one feel like it's England at Christmas. The interior wooden panel work is stunning. In my opinion this is the most beautiful church in Auckland, if not New Zealand.

It looks very historic but actually St Andrews has been much messed around by additions yet somehow the result has increased the charm and the atmosphere of the building and churchyard. Very Epsom!

Beautifully built in the 1800's. The lead light stained windows are a work of art. Interior is still mostly of years gone by. Fantastic service for our friends send off. A day to remember for sure.

Went to a funeral. The church was very cold and seats are a little uncomfortable.

The steeple on the hill! Great atmospheric, small service. Gifted, female Vicar. Welcoming, but ohhhh so much history.

Lovely old heritage building. The church community is also great - very inclusive and welcoming.

The graveyard is not that well maintained😞. I knew where the graves I was looking for, however I had to scratch to uncover them. Not good enough 😞
