Reviews of Titirangi Baptist Church

A wonderful church with a real heart for serving the local community through Jesus. Intelligent, relevant sermons with interesting guest speakers throughout the year. Hardworking teams work to provide lots of regular activities other than the Sunday worship. At TBC you’ll find a warm and friendly environment, great worship and encouraging youth and kids’ programmes. Love this church!

So happy with our inter generational church family. Great children's, young peoples and seniors programs. We are encouraged by the many people who serve in all sorts of ways and often to people in their time of need, a lot of this being done in a very humble and quiet way. Sunday services are a celebration of God's love for the world and an opportunity to meet together and hear good teaching from the Word of God.

Everyone is welcome at TBC! It is a warm and welcoming church with outstanding worship, real and relevant sermons, and opportunities to connect beyond Sunday morning. Small groups, youth groups, Evergreens, and other opportunities are available to anyone hoping to find friendship, discipleship, and support.

This is a church where everyone is welcomed and included. The church community is focused on serving and helping the community in which they're located through a variety of programmes and events, held at regular Sunday meeting and also out in the local area. The teaching relates to everyday life, and is sometimes brave in discussing challenging issues without judgement, maintaining compassion for those that are struggling, and acknowledging that we are all imperfect, sharing this journey of life.

Our family really enjoy attending TBC and love how welcoming everyone is. We love how relatable sermons are for young and old alike and we love the programmes set up for children including young toddlers. We love how TBC not only supports the congregation but how TBC reach out to help the wider community, locally, nationally and internationally.

TBC is a vibrant church at the heart of the Kaurilands community. A multi-generational church, they seek to welcome and include everyone who steps through the door, including signing for deaf participants. There is a lively, busy children’s ministry and a number of mid-week ministries serving the community.

My wife and I have been part of this church since 1967, which was the year we got married. Formerly it was the Kaurilands Church of Christ, but due to that denomination winding up we applied to the Baptist Union and bacame part of the Baptist family from 1996 as Titirangi Baptist. We have witnessed God's Grace upon us and seen the church grow. We have outgrown our church buildings in Kaurilands road, (now under a major renovation) and for the last 20 years or more have met in the Kaurilands Primary School Hall. It has been our joy over the whole history of the church to reach out to the community around, through weekly activities that range from children's to the elderly. We have a verse that is a byword behind our committment to serve the Lord Jesus Christ, and that is : "Them that honour me I will honour." Join us and enjoy the blessing of serving Him.

This is not a "flash" church, it doesn't do the "Prosperity gospel", there aren't BMWs and Mercs lined up in the carpark. You won't see suits or cool designer clothes here. What you will find however is a people with a passion and love for Christ. A community of believers who try to put their beliefs into action. A community who are engaged and focusing outside of the narrow confines of a "Sunday Service" and into the wider community. Here you will find a multigenerational church full of families and fun. It can be a bit chaotic at times but that's real life isn't it. If you are looking for a church home, a place to become involved in, where Christ is central to the teaching and spiritual honesty is highly valued, look no further. Come and be part of the family, we'd love to see you.

This church is full of people who love Jesus, who love others and want to make the world a better place. Great for families - it has kid's programmes and usually some biscuits at the end of the service!

After more than 30 years in this Church We have seen the Church and the Youth Ministry and Children's Ministry grow out of this world in numbers and strength. There is something in the Church for everyone young and old and everyone is part of this great family.
