I have stayed at many luxury venues across the globe and I can honestly say this is my favourite. The owners are extremely friendly and went the extra mile. Nothing was a problem and the place had a real family vibe : ) 10 out of 10

What an amazing treasure tucked away from the city. You enter saints and feel relaxed and at ease straight away. Jase and his family have done a fantastic job making this venue into a one of a kind location. There is history and stories around every bend and a little piece of many christchirch buildings that were destroyed in the quake. I would recommend a stay to anyone looking for that something different but special.

Whether you are an artist, or a fan of architecture this place will astound you. My husband and I were touring New Zealand last month and passed this quaint little church, we came back to take a few photos of the property and were lucky enough to get a tour.
The renovation of this charming church has been meticulously researched, furnishings have been lovingly chosen to show the natural beauty of the spacious interior. Hand made accents like one of a kind windows and doors have been added to make every corner of this home intimate and cozy, at the same time offering many different bedrooms and nooks for reading or just relaxing. Plush linens and curtains add to the beauty of the overall look and comfort.
Unique home away from home, and a lovely garden on the river bank so you can enjoy the outdoors. Situated very near both Christchurch and Akaroa, many things to do on day trips.

Beautiful building with a lot of atmosphere and character. I have been lucky enough to get a tour from Sven and then been invited to a swing dance event a couple of weeks later, which was a great night out!

Welcome, We are the owners of the church now known as Saints of Tai Tapu. 15 Years ago, my husband bought an old church. Out of the devastation of the Christchurch earthquakes that our city was subjected to, I was able to salvage many amazing, old and unique pieces. Sven and our sons started to design and work on the transformation of THE CHURCH using the acquired products. After years of loving restoration and dreaming of what this grand building could one day be, I now have a beautiful home that has surpassed all of my expectations. I view it as an honour to be able to share it with others We welcome you to SAINTS and we look forward to meeting you.'
