S.FUN as for kids, we took years 3,4,5 & 6 there. Prob a bit hard for year 3's but they still enjoyed it even though it was pretty miserable weather.
D.We enjoyed our 3 days here with my daughters primary school on their year 6 camp. The children were faced with activities that pushed them to some new heights, down hill gocarts, flying fox across the pond, kayaking, down hill water slide, archery, balance island, raft building and a confidence course. Lots of space run around, and a big playground. Good food prepared by the host cook. Lots of accommodation, Awesome place for the whole group including the teachers and parents.
M.I would recommend to community and churches for retreat, long weekend gatherings, family reunion. One thing I love the place so much because it's far from town area and hold everyone in one place to get together. Really good I recommend.
M.Stayed here for my family reunion from the 31st of Dec to the 2nd of Jan. Had a great experience especially making memorable memories with the family. The staff were awesome and the cook was the best. The food was always on point!! The camp activities were awesome as well. My favourite was the kayaks 😊 the kids loved the water slide and the flying fox.
P.A very well rounded camp for my children. They were not pressured to believe in the Christian faith in order to participate but they used the good standards of life to help support the campers which I really did respect. We will be back on the summer holidays.

G.We tried Chosen Valley for the first time this year for our Choirs' Camp and it was an ideal venue in every way. Great rehearsal spaces, AV facilities, warm, comfortable rooms, excellent meals and beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended!

t.09 - 12 Jan 2016 .Spent three nights here with the families celebrating a family reunion Advised catering would start from Saturday morning, the camp put on a dinner upon our arrival that late Friday afternoon prior.. awesome. Great food ..we were well fed, i.e five times a day.. "feeling bloated" was a common phase expressed by many during our stay, thanks to Leslie the chef, who also catered to our vegetarian eaters as well.
Family scheduled events and group plans in place, as well as field events took most of our time away from actually using a few of the facilities, an hours safety training prior to use of each and most facilities available, wasn't viable time-wise, given our plans. The rec-room ping pong table and playgrounds the teens, uncles/aunts and kids loved and thoroughly enjoyed.. Singing or laughing was abundant and daily.. fine.. up to 10.30pm only.. as noise wasn't tolerated after this time.. for this venue.. in the country side.. as on site staff needed their sleep.
Site, the outdoor water-theme activities in place needs a make-over, pond held stagnant water with overgrown weeds in and around border.. with sheep and droppings accommodating the area, it wasn't an attraction to use or be part off. Accommodation, the monavale cottages were great, however the cabins along the fields need a spruce up, curtains, drapes and ceilings were covered in mold, which has a huge effect on kids and the elderly.. but people in general and the carpets ..tired. Make-Over really needed tbh.
I hope the above is feedback that can be used to enhance and improve the facilities, especially the cabins and pond. The family really enjoyed their time together and also made do with what we could and create to entertain ourselves...which was more important than anything else.
