My partner and I (both tauiwi) visited this church on the last Sunday of Advent while doing a quick weekend retreat/getaway up on the coast. We were greeted by a cat at the door--and subsequently welcomed and made to feel at home by all at the service. Beautiful preaching, liturgy, and singing. Would definitely be back up to visit next time we're in the area on a weekend!

We visited Rangiatea Church to see how they had rebuilt after a fire destroyed it. In 1983 we had my father's funeral in the original church, a very spiritual experience. It was great to go back to see the wonderful restoration and the still beautiful grounds.
