T. W.As I usually do, I saw St. Paul’s spire first. We drove over to stop by and take some photos. I took them and moved on. Little did I know the significance of this place and it’s special history! The real beauty of this place (which I am yet to see in person) is on the inside. Tukutuku panels, carved surfaces amazing Maori craftspersonship, all work overseen by Sir Apirana Ngata (the man on our $50 bank notes) I suspect the greatest beauty of the place though is in its stories.
