Great customer service from Mathew yesterday, who rang another store to hold on to an item for me which they didn’t have. Probably the best of the Barkers shops I’ve been in.

The lady who helped us to find a suit was superb and very attentive with every question and request. All the staff here were very polite and friendly. They also have tailoring services and a groom room for “grooms”. The High street branch also had different types of shirts which other branches didn’t have; like the French cut shirts. The parking was super expensive, but the service, quality of material and prices were worth the visit. Thank you Barkers team on High St.

A nicely decorated flagship shop in Auckland. Staff are friendly and helpful, also will let you shop in peace. Looks very upscale. Their clothes are nicely cuts and made.

Nice quality and modern style suits for its price range. We were lucky to have Jamie helping us get 6 suits for our wedding. We saw him a few times for altering etc and he was awesome every time.

Good quality clothes, though many are Made in China. Excellent customer service generally. Get a 20% discount if you sign up online and check out the deals. If you are after amazing shirts, try 3 Wise Men or Crane Brothers right opposite - pricey, but great quality.

Had an amazing experience at Barkers! I needed a new suit and to get measured up. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. I worked with Vinu who was knowledgeable and extremely courteous. Would definitely go back and highly recommend the store!

After a bad experience in another suit store my husband and I thought we would give barkers a go as it was handy and looked funky. The customer service was exceptional and range of suits and sizes wide. My husband is a tough sell but walked out a happy and well dressed businessman. A repeat customer you have made barkers

I've had both a one star and five star experience here. My first visit was excellent. The barber took the time to get to know me and find a hair style that suited me. After this experience I decided to go there again for my wedding day; this was a mistake. I had a different barber and the visit was terrible. With no small talk the barber did not attempt to get to know me and didn't even know the importance of the occassion. I included a wet shave but had no confidence in his ability. After my haircut I did not like the style and said so. After a long awkward pause I got the message he was not going to do anything to fix it. It's a nice set up but it will depend on what barber you get.

My now Husband, his best man and I came to this particular branch to find a wedding suit for him early this year. Other branches and retailers had not been as convincing, not as stocked etc as this one. We were on the brink of giving up, when we came through those doors. The service was impeccable and the floor staff skilled in picking out the exact sizes and styles we needed and desired. We went from having nothing to buying the whole lot including suit, waist coat, shoes, belt, pocket square and lapel pin. Tailoring was also done via the shop, so no extra hassle in that respect. I highly recommend this branch to anyone who desires a smooth and fulfilling service. Many thanks to the team!

Large Barker's store, lots of stock. Heaps of options. Right in the central city so it's really handy. First time I went in there the young female staff members were more interested in chatting to their friend for 10 minutes about going out to bars rather than helping customers. Subsequent visits have been fine.

The Groom Room is an amazing modern take on the traditional Barber experience. They start you out with an complimentary whiskey or beer to sip while you enjoy your cut. They follow up with a hot towel service while you wait in their massage chair for the conditioner to do its thing, before finishing up with a wash and style! Great team, friendly environment and highly recommended. A++

Couldn't vote for the one in Palmerston North but 5+ stars. Service was absolutely impeccable. The store was immaculate. The beer was perfect for the arvo. Definitely recommending it to the rest of the work mates and returning again!

The little experience of some of the guys is a bit concerning and visible. But given that my hairdresser had only 1 year experience he did an okay job. Unfortunately I don't think paying 35-45$ is worth it for just an okay job, but you can get much much worse for the same amount of money.

This was the first time I was at barkers groom room. I wasnt too sure which hair dresser to pick as I am quite particular about my hair. As it was my first time I had to pick someone and picked Garreth and I do not regret it. He listens to you and gives you exactly what you want. Would highly recommend to the younger and older crowd. He is also very experienced for his age. Very friendly chap. Will see you again in a month Bruh.
