I’m staggered by the tone of reviews here. My husband and I are regular customers at Fabric and just can’t rate the owner and staff highly enough. It looks to me like someone hasn’t felt validated so has had their friends pile in, which is just disappointing. Fabric is one of very few shops in NZ that not only reliably stocks beautiful clothes and accessories, but as soon as you step into their door, you feel you are a valued customer. They don’t oversell, and that may be what some in the reviews here misinterpret. Personally, I far prefer to make my own choices with measured assistance than have an over zealous and thinly veiled sycophantic salesperson disingenuously stroking my ego. So, to the Fabric team, keep it up! You guys are the best!

FABRIC has a lovely selection of clothes from a variety of designers. Reasonable prices for top quality brands (the Comme Des Garçons range in particular). I'll also add that the staff I've spoken to have a great knowledge of their labels and provide excellent insight. Would recommend stopping by :)

I've been buying clothes from Fabric for nearly 20 years. The customer service has always been exceptional. The selection of brands is always fantastic and the quality is superb. My daughter now wears items I purchased 20 years ago and they still look great. Quality clothes, that will last. It is always money well spent.

Beautiful top end of town store situated in the lovely Britomart Precinct. Prices are high and so is the quality. They are nestled amongst many other high end stores here

The staff are not overbearing, wanting a quick sale to make budget but still check up on your needs if they see you are interested in an item. I've always had a good experience in Fabric, even if I am going in to browse.

Not sure about the bad reviews, but I enjoyed my every visit here. Love the brands they stock. Staff have been nice and not over accommodating which I like.
