Very friendly and helpful customer service! We needed a double camping mattress and were on a road trip and I visited the Manukau store as the Kathmandu website was showing stock for the product we needed. Turned out their website was showing wrong information and the product was not in stock. They showed excellent customer service when I asked to buy two single mattresses of the same make for the price of the double mattress. We love the mattresses, best sleep we ever had on camping trips! Thanks, team!

Lovely store. They were happy to sell me a display model until we realised they cudnt find the bag. Offered to have one sent from a store and it arrive the next week but got a call the next day that it had arrived. Went in an signed up instore and got a $10 discount. Lovely staff Oliver was the only name I could remember sorry. Thank you will be able to pitch my sunshade on new years eve instead of next week

Busy place ... sales on. Took a wee while to find a staff member free to unlock one of the jackets I was interested in but once I found what I was looking for the sales person was very good about explaining how to care for down filled products.

Shopped here last week and would really like to say what wonderful service we received from Krystal. Having worked in retail for the last 40years I am constantly shocked at the lack of service in stores these days. Krystal went out of her way to obtain a particular item from another store and was so pleasant and gave such personal service. The stock is great but the staff might need some training. There were only 2 customers in the shop and 3 sales persons and not one of them came to us to ask if needed any help. When one of them was asked a question, the person couldn't answer it because they "haven't worked in this store before". Its a pretty lame answer for a shop assistant. However, on another visit another sales person was great and we walked out with over $700 worth of stuff.

Hi, like to highly recommend one of your lovely sales ladies by the name of Joy in your manukau store. I found her to be very friendly and so inviting when I walked into your store. She was very professional but at the same time made me feel very comfortable as a shopper as I personally am not fond of shopping only go in when necessary. She made my experience enjoyable she sold me exactly what I needed and I love it😁her knowledge was extremely impressive and I was quite surprised to hear she wasn’t the manager as I was highly recommend her anyday👍

It's a huge store with lots of items, from new season to clearance in all sizes. Sometimes they have specials that other stores don't have. The good thing is that you can browse not rushing cause there's few customers at a time. Staff is always friendly. If I lived closer I'd definitely visit this branch more frecuently!!

Good day, To whom it may concern I came into the Manukau branch yesterday evening 26/07/2018 to look for some boots for my partner. We waited around for a good part of 10 mins and no help yet and I went to go and ask for help from a lady I saw cleaning up the store. Her name is Ray or Raywin apologies if I did not get the spelling right. Let me tell you now, Never in my life has I ever been so well looked after in any shop!!! the level of service that we received was absolutely out of this world!!! :) She apologized for us waiting and said what would we like help with. My partner was looking for fashionable boots for the snow as we are going away and she was battling to fit them so Ray suggested that we look at an alternative pair of shoes and then her knowledge exploded!!! the way she assisted and went out of her way to look after my partner and assist with getting her a decent pair of shoes and why the specific ones we chose would so good and how they would help protect her not only her feet from the cold but her posture in general etc etc. I have been to alot of shops in my life and purchased a numerous amount of products but never in my life have I received service like this!!! I asked her how lone she had been working for Kathmandu and she said 10 years!!. As much as she is brilliant at her job I feel that her potential is being wasted on the floor as a sales representative. She needs to be given the opportunity to sell your brand all over New Zealand, Ray defiantly deserves a shot at the top ranks within your company as she offers alot of knowledge, know-how and overall amazing sale skills. Generally I'm not easily sold but last night I was sold through and through. Keep doing what you do Ray!! your brilliant in every aspect and thank you for always taking care and pride in what you do.
