I purchased me some work attire shirt trousers and a tie the gentlemen at the Hamilton Base Store was very polite and helpful in assisting me within the half hour i spent looking for comfortable plus size clothing that would fit i am able to say i walked out the store very pleased with my purchase and the level of customer service Highly recommend this store

What an awesome experience ! Had to buy clothes my birthday few weeks back and visited the store again today for the Christmas races . Both times was served by Melissa who was amazing . Great advice and help. Will definitely be coming back again soon to buy more clothes and hopefully carry on the yarns with Melissa.

Ive had a lot of trouble finding clothing that fit me , until i discovered Johnny Bigg...I ordered a pair of trousers online (wrong size) only to find there was a store in Hamilton(🤦‍♂️) I took them back, and swapped for a another pair,.No issues, at all, the staff were friendly, professional, and the service was top notch. I was so stoked i bought a couple of other items aswell, and will definitely be back! Thanks guys, you are awesome 👍 i definitely recommend Johnny Bigg!

Yes, Mellisa is awesome. I went there a week ago, she was awesome, she was polite but honest and practical. She made the entire experience easy and I will definitely buy something each & everytime I visit The Base (especially if she's on shift).

My husband went to have a look at Johnny Bigg. Had the great pleasure of meeting Stephen at the Base Wow his customer service was fantastic, ended up buying 200.00 dollars worth of clothes with Stephens amazing service and help. What a character and watching how well he multi tasked was amazing as the shop was full. Will definitely be going back and will be recommending this shop everywhere. Well worth a trip from Rotorua. Cool story: I ordered a suit online for an event. A week had gone by and it looked like I wasn't going to receive my suit in time. So I ring Johnny Bigg at The Base and asked them for the impossible. I asked if it were possible to pick up the same suit in store or if it wasn't in stock - something of the same value. And they said YES! And YES !They had the same suit however not the shirt I ordered nevertheless we found a shirt of the same value and all was well. I want to thank Katie and her crew for being so accommodating with my situation and as promised I forwarded on my shipping to the store and we all lived happily ever after. The End. The Moral of the story is....Shop at Johnny Bigg!

I was thinking it was time for an upgrade into this century. Decided to check out this shop. With my Moko's advice and Manu's help I got a shirt, jacket, trou and reversible belt. Best shopping trip ever. Huge (excuse the pun) selections. Good shop, good people. When my wallet comes out of shock gonna go back for a really great hoody/jersey, maybe shorts, tees......
