There's a reason the Woolshed Gallery is an absolute institution of Hanmer. The shop is chocka with a range of beautiful NZ-produced garments, wools, slippers, and more. The owner is a delight to chat with and I walked out with a scrumptious hank of possum wool yarn, a velvet soft merino camisole, and some warm woolen tights to wear on these cold winter days!

Great Store for Merino Wool and Possum fur clothing. Bought my father a nice sweater while visiting New Zealand. The lady who assisted me went out her way to find the perfect fit. They also offer shipping to anywhere in the world.

Cheap postcards. Good prices on top-of-the-line possum & merino brands. Friendly, helpful service.

Lovely lady who went out of her way to help us find the perfect colour, even took us and the jumpers out of the shop so we could see it in proper daylight. Really good prices, best we've found.
