F.Have a few of their older garments that were made in NZ still going strong and far outlasting clothing from other outdoor clothing brands.
Used to be predominantly NZ made until a few years ago, Almost all their fleece apparel lines are now made in Thailand, with some of their jackets made in Vietnam and some the more technical jackets still made here in NZ.

Older falla on the frount counter with the mo knows his stuff, he gave me great tips on how these spectacular garments should fit. He has a pretty good eye for it.. the freindly environment is somthing else!

H.Local manufacturers of good proven outdoor apparel. Pricing is indeed high, but you get garments that actually last far longer to make up for the higher pricing.
D.Went to the South Island of NZ for a tahr and chamois hunting trip. The scenery, majesty and natural beauty of NZ is truly amazing, what wasn't was the fact it rained for 4 out of the several days we were there.
My mate lent me a Swazi tahr anorak and on one occasion light was fading and we were still up above the bushline, hiking madly back to camp. Thankfully we found our way back in the dark, but I was confident throughout the ordeal that if I ever got lost above the bushline, that Swazi anorak would have kept me warm throughout the night. You pay for quality with Swazi, and the art to being a true tightwad like myself is to buy good quality gear, so you never have to buy another one again.
Up-date 13th of June, 2019: A big thank you to Cree Smith from Swazi for her awesome customer service and helping me get an original tahr anorak. I am one happy customer :D
