Found a product here that I'd been searching for for years. Great quality product. Took a little while to ship halfway across the world but that's totally understandable during a pandemic. Overall excellent experience and love the product!!

Lovely shop and people. Love the Audrey dresses. The $5 bin holds lots of treasures too. As a local, I just keep popping in looking for treasures. All the best for your business.

Planet Retro is an absolute gem. An overwhelmingly fun store full of unique pop culture goodies. It was heaven. I’m absolutely in love with my Grogu cushion and Joker artwork! I’ll be a regular. Diana was wonderful, warm and an absolute pleasure to meet. Definitely check this store out! ❤️

Fantastic selection of film/TV merchandise. The staff are so friendly and helpful and we always have a laugh and a chat. You need to look around a couple times though as you miss stuff the first time!

Awesome! Giggled my way through the shop - so many fun and zany things to see. You know it's good when you laugh out loud. Great place to buy gifts, especially for sci fi, comics, Star Wars or Doctor Who fans. Some great books to check out down the end - very different to what you find in a standard bookshop. Lovely staff too.

Planet Retro Petone, the ONLY place to go if you are wanting something different to enhance yours, or if they are lucky, a friends, fandom collection. Looking for that dress/shirt to show your fandom? Planet Retro has it...that bag to hold your fandom goodies, while showing your fandom...Planet Retro has it...fandom mug to drink from...Planet Retro has it...if they don't have it, then it ain't worth having!!

What a fabulous shop!!! Petone’s best kept secret. There is something for every one who LOVES Retro Clothing or Retro things. I have bought 3 AMAZING dresses from there and they fit perfectly. The Owner is so helpful and knowledgeable and will help you find what you need. I highly recommend them to all my Friends and Family. I have my eye on a few other things and can’t wait to go back and buy them.

A small shop with lots of vintage produce to look at. Very interesting bits and pieces and well worth a visit.

Finally! A shop that sells interesting clothing and items at totally reasonable prices! The lady running the shop was awesome to chat to and I will definitely be supporting this local when I go for my regular peruse along Jackson Street.
