R.An absolute pleasure to deal with. Such amazing merino without any itch and fabulously unique designs. Bee has developed a great niche market of stylish active/day wear, that is the perfect attire for so much more. Go Yank!!
H.I have the light weight long sleeved too, black body with NZ bush patterned sleeves.
I've worn it to work, out to dinner, warming up/cooling down for a spin class, during a pump class on a cold day, and out walking. It hasn't made it to bike attire yet.
Yes, it's warmer than the fabric thickness suggests and is fine with a merino t-shirt underneath when cool.
What's surprised me most is it's performance when I've sweated. I had a different brand of 100% merino t-shirt underneath. As I cooled my arms with just the Yank top on my skin felt warmer and dried sooner. Where the 100% merino touched my skin I was wetter and colder.
Washing requires more care than my other merino but isn't a problem. I put it in a daintys bag and put it through a cold wool wash. Boom, it's kept it's shape and no shrinkage.
It looks great and I appreciate the thought and care that's gone into the design and finished product. I'll be back for more.
H.LOVE my Yank NZ gear! My 3/4 sleeve yank shirt has become my go-to shirt for everything from running to mountain biking to gardening. The beauty of merino is you can wear it a couple of times and not worry about it getting stinky. Less time doing laundry = more time playing outside. The quality is top notch and the colors, patterns and cuts are spot on. Thanks for the great additions to my closet!
