N.I went to ask if the products I wanted in stock or not but the staff didn’t even bother to check in their system and suggested me to check at outlet store. In fact, I went to outlet first and they checked for me there should be some size left at the main store.
The customer service in main store is less friendly compared to the outlet staff.
t.Excellent customer service. I move on from other brand to Kathmandu just because of their customer service. my partner just randomly asked about one of their product. But they gave complete information that made us rethink at home and thought we might need that product. that was an amazing marketing🖤however, it makes us understand how to take care of our products💕💕💕
M.Very good customer service with no shortage of staff. The floor space isn't huge but we were able to find everything we needed.
J.EXCELLENT Customer service. My partner and i were in the shop for about an hour looking for gear to set up for our first tramps. All staff were full of knowledge regarding all aspects of the products and were totally accommodating for any questions we had.

J.I went into to purchase a light weight jacket from their Boxing day sale. I found the item without any trouble, trying in the item was a bit different. Having said that, a small sized jacket was right for me. The staff member who served me was friendly. All in all a good result.

A.The Kathmandu shop in Wellington CBD is worth a visit if you are looking for good quality outdoor wear and products for travel. Here you can find everything from bug sprays to camping gear, as well as clothing like long johns, rain proof/wind proof jackets, and down jackets. Clothing prices are similar to other outdoor clothing brands like Icebreaker, Columbia, and North Face. However, the shop is spacious with a large variety of products. The staff are helpful and friendly.
L.Good service whenever I've been here - if not on entry, someone at least acknowledges you (if they're all busy with other customers) within 5 minutes or so, or offers assistance similarly. Other outdoor retailers could take a lesson from the staff here.
L.Wide choices of camping gear, clothing and travel accessories. Staff is professional, helpful and will help you to find what are you looking for. For special deals I suggest to join summit club - it costs only $10, but you can save up on quality items. For some outlet deals, you can check out Kathmandu outlet store what is around the corner.
B.Very expensive though products are above average
N.Always a sale so never pay full price. Has a great selection of outdoor wear at decent prices and quality is good. My wardrobe is half Kathmandu because they always have what you want.
C.Great product range. Excellent service. I was informed of a 2 for one promotion when I got to the register. I hadn't noticed the deal so was pleased to be informed of it so I could take advantage.
S.I needed a smaller day pack and was pleased to find one on sale for a good price - and an even better price when I joined their club. I also bought a beautiful cycling jersey on sale. With my discount, it cost $45.
D.Good quality but over priced items. Sizes are too big. No women of 1.60m tall can find anything suitable in this store.

However, unlike many other Kathmandu's I have been to, this seems to have a slightly higher focus on outdoor and hiking gear, as opposed to just clothes.

A.It's Kathmandu. Overpriced most of the time, quality has been dropping over the years. Still a viable option for some tramping and travel gear.
