T.Some of the best food I've ever tasted. I came across this cafe while working in Alexandra on a temporary project and boy was I impressed by absolutely EVERYTHING! The taste, the setup, the atmosphere, the pricing, the presentation, the quantity & quality.
This is one of those rare local owner operated cafés where you can taste the love and passion behind everything. The type of hidden gem, which mostly only locals know about!
So, don't second guess yourself, try it out today and give them your honest feedback ratings (I'm sure it will be 5 stars), so that more people can enjoy this amazing hospitality venue!
G.On Saturday evenings they do a range of genuinely delicious, real value for money pizza. This is a pizza worth traveling a long distance for. You will savour every mouthful. Let's not forget the great location, or the super helpful and friendly staff
C.Beautiful decor here. One of the best I've ever seen at a cafe. Warm, sumptuous, beautiful, fresh. Good tastes here, just losing a star for the pricy cabinet food, not unusual for cafe fare these days

E.Magnificent decoration at the counter, comfy atmosphere cafe. Cozy place for breakfast. The food and drinks are so presentable, love that. The strawberry milkshake is so yum.... Hot Chocolate, Caramel Latte, and cheese rolls and scones are recommended. Always visit here if come to Alexandria.
S.We enjoyed The Packing Shed Art in the Garden run by Rebeekah and Baz (owners of the Courthouse), I enjoyed Coconut Prawns in coconut cream with avocado, onions, and salad greens. My friends enjoyed the dessert options. The service was quick and efficient, with obliging wait staff.
p.Super cool place to chill on a nice sunny day. Lots of sitting outside. We were here for the Blossom Festival and this place was busy. We duly queued up and placed our order and was surprised at how quickly the food arrived. The food quality was good and yummy but I gave it a 4 star bec I felt the coffee was not up to my taste. I understand different people may like the coffee but I found it a bit sharp and acidic. I normally swear by Atomic coffee so was a tad surprised by this. Maybe a 1 off, else a pleasant experience, food and service.
Addition - visited this place again on 29th Dec 2020. Lovely Christmas decor and themes.
S.Cycled here and asked a local where a good cafe was and was told to come here. Best looking and tasting cafe food in an incredible historic building with outdoor seating and bike parking. Meringues like I've never seen before!!! Huge!
R.Good coffee!! I wanted to see someone order the HUGE meringue with cream but alas, nobody did while I was there. I was tempted but it would have made me sleep within five bites 😁

G.Best coffee in Alex. I have one day in town a week and this is the highlight. Staff are friendly, and even when its busy the wait for coffee is never too long. Looking forward to the end of lockdown and I can get a good coffee again!
K.Bread and butter pudding was Devine definitely a 5 star. The macchiato and soy cappuccino we're very 3 star... At best. The other patrons food looked great too.

J.What a place! The food was absolutely Devine. The atmosphere was wonderful and the overall history element of this cafe made me just want to sit and think what kinda of stories the walls would hold.

R.A great little cafe! We came here while doing a bike ride and stopped for slices and then lunch on the way back. The menu was very limited (about 5 lunch options) but many cabinet options. It was a sunny day and lovely to sit out in the sun and relax.
A.Outstanding. No photos because we ate the food too quickly. Duck hawker roll-excellent. Chicken taquito-excellent. Caramel slice-large, bad for you, and also excellent. We'll be back.

K.I love this cafe; not only is the food amazing and the coffee strong and hot, but they have fantastic displays around the counter area which change with the season. My only consideration when coming here during my lunch hour is sometimes the queues are long and I can’t get served in time. Definitely a local favourite!

Dine in for some unexpected additions to your plate, done tastefully and stylishly. I love the history of the building as Alexandra’s 19th century courthouse. Lovely outdoor seating area for the area’s frequent sunny days. Friendly staff and fair prices.
M.Fantastic food. Great coffee. The most amazing cheese scones (biggest and best!!) and great historic surroundings. Deservedly popular (it was bursting at the seams when we visited). A great place to spend a cool wet day.
k.Amazingly they reopened for us after just closing for the day. Great cakes and deserts not to mention fancy teas. They had great looking savoury dishes but we didn't sample.

D.Came here early on a Monday AM. The cinnamon muffins are worth the trip alone. It was Fairy Tale day so the staff were in costume. Food was nom. I had the corn fritters and hubby had eggs on toast with added bacon. Coffee was nom too. Took away the muffins and 2 slices of fudge slice... Like I said, mufiins were super nom. Building was cute and it was a beautiful morning all round. Good work.

S.This cafe is lovely. Tasty food, quick friendly service and reasonable prices. The mushrooms on toast was the best I have ever had. Our dogs were welcome to sit with us outside and water was provided for them. We liked it so much we went back again the next day. Definitely the best cafe in Collingwood. You have to be quick to get a loaf of the sourdough to take with you. It sold out before we got there on the second visit. Delicious!
