This is a must try. Google had a funny direction going there but it’s definitely worth the visit. We had Nasi Goreng, Salmon Tataki Salad, and Ricotta Hotcakes and each of them is divine!

Arrowtown really doesn’t need any more on point food joints but it’s giving you one anyway. Was not planning on coming here, but I’m glad I did. Hidden up the steps and inside a really cool shed, is some awesome Asian fusion everyday food and the best mulled plum wine! Overlooking Arrowtown from the second floor balcony while you eat isn’t bad either. The Pho was ok, but he okonomiyaki had a very interesting ingredient in it, and I loved it.

Heard from locals and we came here early to grab the breakfast in case of waiting too long. The fact turned out we made a good choice! The staffs are nice and served fast. Be seated in the balcony, there's always a great view and beautiful sunshine in front of you! Recommended the spicy fried rice and momo dumplings. Fried rice is some kind of southeastern flour, fresh and a bit spicy with the chili! It's a pity that the dish wasn't enough to share because we ate all of them soon!Dumplings' sauce is amazing and pretty matchwith the salad vegetable. Luckily we got the special deal, whitebait! We heard that there's seasonal menu at different times so hope to explore sth New next time!

Great coffee, as good as Melbourne. Is a bit hard to find. You can't see it from the street. Follow the signs, then head up the stairs, which are at the end of the mall and to the right. The entrance had a distinctive door handle. Great place to sit on a cold winter's day.

We were recommended this by a friend and it didn't disappoint. We ate at some nice places on our trip to Queenstown/Arrowtown but the stand out dish of the trip was the lychee beef cheek from here. Good, friendly service.

Simply amazing place!! First of all great location and you can eat outside with a nice view. The staff was lovely, friendly and fast, their menu is a bit special but every dish sounds amazing. We tried the beef curry, prawn pancake and waffles and we looooved them all! Thanks guys, keep it up :-)

Best food in a long time! We were welcomed by friendly staff who quickly seated us and made sure we were served promptly. The food is a whole other thing of it's own! We tried the Turkish Eggs (which were to die for!!), Japanese Pancake, Ricotta Hot Cakes and the Corn Fritters (which were also to die for). We came back two days in a row to get our fix. Also the coffee is consistently amazing on its own. No wonder so many people talk about this place. It is 1000000% worth the hype!

Great service, excellent coffee, eclectic decor, and compelling menu with intriguing combination of fusion flavours. We thoroughly enjoyed our bulgogi pork sliders and would have ordered other items to try if we had more people with us. As it is fairly popular, expect to wait a little bit for a table (we didn’t mind at all).

Fantastic food! Really enjoyed this little place. The food was so good we made a point of coming back before we flew home. We had the crispy beef cheeks and corn fritters (pictured). I would not really go for beef cheeks, but they were highly recommended so I gave them a go. Loved them. Don't be fooled it is not a curry as you would generally think. It only has a slight bit of curry sauce over the base. My wife loved hers too and when we came back I had the fritters with bacon. Yum. Be aware that this little place is super busy and you can't book. It gets a little cramped too, but worth it. Highly recommended.

A small but lively restaurant in Arrowtown. Okonomiyaki and pork belly dumplings were our choice for brunch and we made right choice :) There are plenty of drinks and cocktail menu with desserts as well. The owner and staff were all friendly and polite. Would like to try other menus next time.

We dropped in for a coffee but loved the atmosphere and ended up staying for lunch. They were very bus and even though they didn't manage the wait time for a table very well, it was worth the wait. Great coffe while waiting and plenty of time to check out the menu. The kitchen is wide open and you can watch how hard the chefs are working. Our waiter was french and very friendly. When food came we were hungry but certainly not disappointed. The beef cheek curry was extremely tasty with the beef check crispy on the outside and like butter on the inside. Highly recommended.

Best corn fritters I had in 5 years. Check out the description in one of my photos they were fried balls with a caramel chilli sauce poached egg and salad absolutely divine. The wife had a fantastic meal as well. I love the old style decor depicting old garage with lots of Chains spanners and you should always check out the toilet that has loads of great old advertising from the 40s 50s 60s. Really good mochaccino as well.

Nothing fills me more with joy than great food and beverages. I only had time to take a photo of my Bloody Mary, which I can highly recommend. When my food arrived it was too irresistible to take a photo and I just got stuck into it, the bao buns were delicious!

First time coming here after receiving recommendations from friends. Menu is quite small, I would have definitely preferred more options, I settled on the Turkish Eggs and my partner had the Hotcakes. Both were very tasty and had a refreshing twist on the traditional versions of each dish. Would highly recommend both dishes, and have in fact already recommended to family. Coffee and Hot Chocolate were tasty, and all up meal was approx $50 which we both thought was very reasonable. Will definitely be back.

OK place, a bit pricey and fairly small menu (which is fine for a decent place if the food is great). I wanted something like a big breakfast so asked if I could get eggs with 4 sides for less than the rate card $41 but was given a “negative”. I did have the eggs and they were OK. My friend thought his were slightly underdone. The place is fairly noisy and small, which again is nice if you like the atmosphere.

We found this place out through the locals in Queenstown and they said it was a must. Nestled in a upstairs section of a historical building in Arrowtown, it was pumping and jiving along. Very unique decor with handmade light fixtures and rescued, transformed items there was no where you could not look that something was different. The food was exceptional fresh from the local area and reasonably priced. Coffee was the best by far in this part of NZ. And the staff are the nicest bunch ever. Thanks for experience!

Absolutely fabulous! Lisa is a hospo gem, super efficient and friendly service. I came twice for brunch during my 3 day stay in Queenstown, and driving that bit extra was completely worth it. Whilst it does get very busy, the turn over is fast. Initially welcomed by true advocates of brand and you’re made to feel apart of the family. But then, your taste buds bring you right back to the present moment with an incredible selection of beautifully tasting food and drinks! The Chop Shop is by far my favorite place in Queenstown/Arrowtown. It is partially hidden away which I love because it means it is even more special to go to. The menu is small but this makes me love it more because you are not overwhelmed by choices and these dishes are simply to die for. Fresh ingredients, amazing customer service this place really has it all. I don't even mind having to wait for a table when its busy because they clear up so quickly and the staff DO NOT forget about you! They offer you coffee while you wait even. If you do go PLEASE try the turkish eggs because it is just another level of delicious. Thank you Chop Shop for everything you have introduced my pallet to, you will see me again soon ;)

The Place The Chop Shop is in Arrowtown, NZ. This is a neat little eatery hidden in the heart of Arrowtown. If you come in the back way you go through an alley, if you come in the front you must go up some steps to get to the door. Don't give up!! The inside has a hip environment... that means it decorated very rustic. It has a nice view of the courtyard below if you sit on the balcony. There are tables, bar type seats, bench seats and even a chalk for the kids. The Menu/Food The menu is interesting! Soup of the day was bubbles. I asked that it means... Answer: what do you think it means? champaign... you are correct. Ok we will have 3. We ordered crispy fried blue cod tacos, a couple braised pork belly on BAO bun, and a couple eggs on toast, and of course a couple flat whites. Our food was very good overall. The Service/Value/Experience The Chop Shop is a unique dining experience to say the least. The quality and the serving size of the food presented a reasonably fair value. Our service was good but left room for improvement. If you are in Arrowtown you must give this place a go.
