Went there in a wet Saturday morning in November. It was cosy and warm when we enter. The keto bake and carrot salad were delicious. Coffee as great and love browsing at the shop.

The food was delicious and healthy, I would've given it five stars. Unfortunately, the time it took for the food to arrive at our table was ages. This unfortunate incident isn't because just due to the fact that I went there during red light. In previous years, the same thing would happen too. Hopefully they improve next time I drop in😋 still haven't lost hope!

A great little cafe to stop for breakfast on our way through Ashburton. The cafe was well presented and tastefully prrsented. I liked their selection of gourmet products. The cabinet food looked delicious and the menu had lots of options. We ordered the vegetable stack and the big breakfast. Both were generous portions and the food was pretty good- I would've liked to see it with some extra flavours but it was all well cooked. Coffees were also well made.

It's ok. There seem to be two major issues. First, people shopping for items,scanning shelves mixed in with people having their food and drink. It really is shambolic. And second,the staff don't seem to be well organised, with lack of clear definition of duties. You either get asked three times for your order, or you get ignored .

Good strong coffee, good selection of food. Food has an old fashioned feel to it. Well suited for older generation.

Our favorite Cafe. Just realized that us Taranaki ites ask for a toasted sandwich, which confused the person taking the order as the locals call them toasties, but we got it right in the end.

Really nice place. Had an excellent milkshake at a wallet friendly price, made with ice cream. Good muffin, and plenty of reading materials which is always a plus for a cafe. Great selections of products on the shelf to buy too.

The workers are always ready to greet customers with a smile. Food tastes amazing and there was even gluten free options

Great restaurant in the heart of Asburton wonderfull breakfast menu.

A lovely store and cafe. Hard to shop with shelves placed between tables. Felt I was intruding on those enjoying a coffee to approach the shelves to check out items.

Good service and great collection of products to shop from if you can afford it. Menu and cabinet food lack flavour at times, not a place I actively seek out for food. Coffee has been good.

Great stop for lunch, extensive board menu and cabinet. I spy their homemade ginger kiss cake it is my all time favourite. I was the best I have ever eaten. Staff where supper friendly

Wonderful caffeine stuff. Ambience too good. Once sat and ordered the coffee, never felt like getting up and going out. Must experience when it's raining out and sipping delicious coffee-fixes in all different sizes sitting on the window sided sofa just at the entrance.

Great food. Good coffee. The displays of overseas food have halved. Possibly due to Covid? Always go here for a travel break.

Super helpful. Gave up a dollar from the tips jar for the coin meter parking (!!). Moved the plates and order around while i was in an online meeting. Food was quality, toilets spotless. I will be back and have a 5$ note for the jar next time...

I would give 20 out 10. Staff were well trained, also smiled and very polite, the food was fantastic. We loved the experience and will be back.

Lovely space, good coffee and good food plus some interesting grocery /deli items. Didn't get an opportunity to try the bar. Prams might have a little difficulty negotiating the spaces

Clean tidy interesting place. Some of the best "bangers and mash" I've ever had. Worth stopping at if you want to be out of Christchurch for a meal when you're on your way south.

Arrived 19 minutes before closing time. Got takeaway cup to help them out charges me 59cents more for cup and then downsized drink. Coffee however was excellent.

Great spot for healthy food options. Well laid out with gift items to purchase and international food items, teas, spices and sweets. Wheelchair accessible and child friendly (there is a basket of toys for the children) menu food and savoury options from the cabinet are consistantly delicious, the sweet options vary more, with them seeming to be either delicious or dry. Overall a popular place for groups or solo diners. Coffee is consistently good and the atmosphere is relaxing.

As we were on route to our next destination we took a small stop for some coffee. The small restaurant has a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. During our visit it was rather cold and rainy so we were glad to enter. The coffee served was great and the overall service was very good. The toilets were clean as well.

Cool cafe with good selection of food off the menu and from the cabinet. Coffee was excellent too. Good seating with different options from tables and chairs to couches and bar leaners and stools. Good selection of gift and cooking products too. Definitely the place to go if you are in or going through Ashburton any time. Thumbs up, recommended. 😎👍

Coffee was ok. Nothing outstanding about the service received - everything was just "ok".

I was a little concerned about coming here due to reviews saying there was a lack of flavour - but those people clearly didn't have the loaded hotdog Decatur that was really, really tasty.

Great breakfast. Bacon cooked to perfection. Interesting deli. Nice ambiance in an attractive building. Coffee could have been hotter.

Great coffee & a lovely place to have a look around as they have a few goodies to buy, food was lovely, however some staff let the experience be soured a little with their grumpy dispositions. Would however visit again to see if this was remedied.

Well what a treat!! The word Grocer in this name refers to the gourmet goods sold here. The food is stylishly made & presented. My mushroom & blue cheese tart was so delicious & my hubby licked his chops after finishing a bacon & egg tart. Coffee fab also!! Remember this place when travelling through Ashburton!!

Service and seating good. Had Potato Crush. Imagined crushed potato with egg yolk running over it. Potatoes were cubed fried potato on side and eggs hard. Disappointing when you don't get what you hope for. Feels like a wasted $20 that could've been better used elsewhere.
