S.Very busy place at lunch time. Excellent service. Good coffee and variety of food to choose from. My lunch special of sticky pork belly with bao & asian slaw was very tasty. Will be back to try other lunch specials.

L.Arrived at 10.ish am on Saturday morning super busy, coffee is always good, kids loved their hot chocolate. Server did apologize for the wait, no worries. Choice of food from the cabinet could do with improving, not very child friendly, and not every one want a three flavored muffin or a massive slice of carrot carrot. When weather is on the cold side there are blankets on hand for the covered outside seating area.

B.Great food and great service. Always heaps to choose from here. Coffee was a good double shot pick-me-up, bacon and cheese roll knocked me socks off. Smoked chicken pasta salad was a party in my mouth.

K.Very conveniently situated with a very good range of well-prepared above average foods, including vege and GF options. Very popular with locals - a very busy period around 12 - 1 so expect a little wait at that time. City prices, but the best cafe in Ashburton for my money.
M.Eggs Benedict with bacon was delicious! Will definitely go back. Its not the cheapest around but you get a good sized breakfast. Plenty of bacon, perfect eggs, yum sauce and garnish. Friendly staff too.

T.Dont get me wrong the food is great, but on this grotty cold morning i really felt like a hot chocolate so image my disappointment after splurging $6 for a large hot chocolate to get a watery powdery slightly chocolate thingy when i sat back down at my desk. Tastes like the $1 MacDonald or like the one you get from a service station.

The good thing is they cater according to the needs. They serve as you want them to. No rush services.

m.Stopped in on the way through Ashburton. Always keen for some eggs bene, and I’ve had a fair amount of eggs bene in my time. Initially you will look at the menu and think: “Really? $20 for some eggs bene?”
Let me tell you, well worth it. The hollandaise was unlike hollandaise I have had before. The sauce had notes of lemon within it which was a pleasant surprise and complimented the dish in such a delicate way.
The bread was different as well, being soft buns, lightly toasted which helped them absorb the yolk and sauce. Overall a pleasant dining experience and I would return for this eggs bene again if passing through, however would not drive out of my way from Christchurch just for it.
Coffee was at an expected standard for a cafe of this size and class.
