K.Best breakfast on the island by far. The service is amazing and the owners are so lovely and welcoming. We keep going back for the Turkish eggs and delicious smoothies.
L.Beautiful brunch spot. We got the vegan banana hot cakes and mushroom bene. We would have liked to hear more about how the dishes can be made vegan but our lovely waitress was on her first day and we didn’t want to be difficult. A lot of the current dishes are egg based so would have been great to hear the VG substitute. Nevertheless the coffee was amazing, staff super friendly and cool vibe. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

S.Had breakfast here two days in a row this week. Fantastic! The coffee is brilliant, the service was great but the crowning glory was the Turkish Eggs. They are easily the best thing I’ve had for breakfast in a long time. Guys you are doing a great job and we will be back.
E.Lovely flight coffee served. A plant based menu meant a Wellingtonian like me could have their Oat flat white and some banger Banana Pancakes! (Their whole menu is vegitarian/some vegan and gluten free options) but it all sounds amazing!!
S.The food has maintained its standard for excellent presentation, taste and delivery in the 2 years I’ve been visiting. Staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming and I’ve never had a negative dining experience, whatever the time of day. I love all the natural ingredients which are always fresh and the use of herbs and flowers to make all dishes a feast for the eyes. I hope your business continues to build and NZ doesn’t have more lockdowns preventing more Waiheke visits!

H.Pure happiness and delight! Never have I had such a perfect substitute for beef before as the Impossible Bao. The Bloody Kimchi was a perfect end to a wonderful meal, tomatoes and vodka with just a hint of Korean tang. And such a lovely staff serving these treats up to us with clear insight and a generous smile on thier faces. I highly recommend this place to anyone sincerely looking for new tastes that don't include the need for meat or junk of any kind. Hope to return one day.

M.First time here and the food is gorgeous!! Never heard of citrus sauerkraut before and I loved the flavour and how it enhanced a simple smashed avo on sourdough toast! Absolutely recommend this place!
H.Great little spot to head to straight from the ferry! Cute, trendy little cafe with zen vibes and great coffee. A well thought out 'plant focused' menu, lots of locally sourced produce and great choice and variety for everyone including GF and VE options galore. We felt very nourished after our visit!

K.Best cafe on the island by far. Amazing service and really friendly staff. I had the omelette and my friend had the Turkish eggs and both were delicious. My cuppa was amazing and served in a giant mug Which was perfect on a rainy cold day. Will be my go to place on the island for brunch.

P.I get the feeling they're still working out the kinks - the service was slow and a bit muddled. Being plant-based I ordered the mushroom bene - without the eggs. I was told the hollandaise contained egg so ended up paying full price - $24 - for a small mushooms on sourdough. On the bright side the coffee was good, and vegan muffins delicious. Keen to see this place thrive so will try again soon.

Fantastic menu, we all had something different and tried each one and I don't know which I would order next time, they were all so good! Service is very friendly and dishes come out promptly. The owners have made a beautiful stylish space, which is lovely to spend time in. Oh and the coffee is on point!!

J.A friendly little spot with a good social buzz, good service, good coffee and nice little meals that are creative and delicious. Some of the savoury menu items look fantastic especially if you like vege meals.
R.It is so great to see a new face in Oneroa and it’s easy to see a lot of care has gone into Akito. We have been three times in two weeks and loved it for healthy vegetarian food, generous portions and cute atmosphere. The gingerbread waffles with coyo, apples and maple syrup are the fave so far, this is a genius dish as good as it sounds! Welcome Akito, we like you :-)

Friendly, welcoming vibes, great style cafe, soul food made by a goddess skilled chef/owner. Kimchi fried rice, harissa beans, cocao smoothie, raw berry cheesecake, heck yes go now!
