L.The quality of coffee, takeaway beans, and service is phenomenal.
Every time I take a sip of the coffee they have prepared, I will pause for a moment and think "Wow, life is good".
The same thing when I open a bag of their beans and smell that sweet, sweet aroma. Even the design of the bag makes you feel good.
I love you guys - keep it up. I will not buy my beans elsewhere.

Ordered the fritters which were an average 2/5. Chicken burger was really a massive let down and had no flavour at all. And the chicken itself in the burger was dry and had a slight salty flavour to it. Didn’t finish 1/5
N.Been here quite a few times, but today's avo smash did not float my boat. I loved the portion size and pistachio on it, but didn't rate the drizzle. The 4 star rating is mostly a contribution from previous times there when I had the roast pumpkin salad - that was top notch! Hope it returns to the menu. The venue in itself is very spacious, breathable, with a cool industrial outlook. They roast their own coffee which is delicious. Friendly staff and cool water fountain for still or sparkly.

D.Visited with my brother who is a long-time client for his Christchurch supermarket. He said Atomic coffee outsells all other brands combined. They could start their own range of perfume from the beautiful aromas wafting out.

M.Came in this morning for an almond flat white and was not disappointed. While it does take some extra time due to the popularity, it’s well worth it. Hard to find a place that does almond milk well, so worth holding onto when ya do! The woman at the till was super friendly and gave me a discount for bringing my own cup! While I got a take away, the environment is lovely and welcoming as well. Will definitely be back and highly recommend this place.
T.Sunday lunchtime was kinda busy, there is no table service or individual menu's here nor is there a kids menu so grab a table take a photo if you're with a group of the main menu board behind the counter and you should be right.
Because it was full we just managed to grab a table for 4 from a group just leaving, However it was awhile before the table was cleared only until our coffee's arrived did they decide to clear it.
Food arrived quickly as we ordered 2 pumpkin omelettes with a side of bacon for one and a side of salmon for the other, it was absolutely delicious!!! egg omelette with dukkah, sour cream and tomato relish highly recommend.
They must roast there own beans here cause there appears to be a huge contraption in a room you can view from the cafe. Thats why the coffee was so good, the self helping water taps are cool.
The location of the cafe gets the morning and mid-afternoon sun so very pleasing and warm on a winters day.

L.By far, the best coffee in Auckland! I cannot recommend it enough. I usually buy beans (roasted in-house) and bring them home (or for lucky work-mates) but going in to buy the beans provides the opportunity to experience this amazing café's ambience! Beautiful, hand-made pottery complements the top-notch selection of coffees and treats and the wonderful atmosphere makes me look forward to the days when I run out of beans and have to go get some more! The Fruit Punch beans are now something that I will look forward to each season!

B.This is my quiet pleasure several times a year when I drop my cars off at the AA Kingsland for servicing or WOF. The coffee is good but that is given. The staff are friendly and professional, that is what makes a time out from the everyday enjoyable. They're is parking almost outside well at least at 7am when I'm here.
S.Great food and great coffee, finally somewhere in NZ that knows how to make a decent soy flat white! Order the mushroom dish, you won’t be disappointed. The only slight issue is that they need more people serving instead of having the person who takes your order serve the food also, as the line gets long and people are waiting longer to order in-between.
R.Great coffee. One of the best breakfasts o have had in ages. The home made hash browns and thick cut perfectly cooked bacon paired so well with the slight sweetness of beetroot. Looking forward to going back

A.Great coffee. Coffee is my lifeblood. So I love great coffee, and Atomic has great coffee. They have a few vegan options, including yummy bliss balls and a vegan sandwich. I love the sparking water, which is free. Free sparkling water is legit 🔥. And they have the paper, which is always good for a morning read with your coffee.

N.Best coffee in Auckland, which is saying something! Not a huge wait either, very quick and efficient, and food was even faster so overall a real pleasing experience. One of the few places I'll travel to get to, and will do it again!
N.Among the best coffee roasters in the area but the selection is too narrow for me to give them 5 stars. The staff also knew very little about their blends, which surprised me.
The cafe decor is funky, urban industrial and there's plenty of seating but it's not warm enough to be considered "cosy." In winter I recommend you buy your beans and some gourmet rolls from Atomic and take them home to enjoy.
W.Awesome quality coffee with the coffee culture to go with it. I can't help noticing that all the staff are young and attractive ladies (take that info in whatever way you'd like). The service is quick and attentive. Their menu choices are pretty good as well.
L.I came to do some work online and found it to be a great environment with good strong wifi. I got the smashed avocado on toast for $18 which I found to be slightly over priced for what it was especially since down the road at littleQ had the same with eggs for $18. Aside from that coffee was great and you can get sparkling water on tap which is a nice bonus :)

R.Found this place in my search for good coffee beans in Auckland and the experience was great. Staff member explained to us pro's and con's of each bean type, and upon purchase we were offered a free coffee. After refusing (we've had a coffee not long before the visit there), he gave us vouchers instead. We will definitely be coming back.

S.Trendy spot for the cool kingsland crowd and all those passing through. I love watching people and traffic from the huge wall of windows. The decor is clean, modern and interesting. There are live flowers at the tables. The menu caters to extensive tastes and dietary requirements including vegan and gluten free options. The coffee is showcased by being available via multiple exciting brew methods. The service is friendly and the prices are nice. 5/5 :)

L.This has to be my favourite cafes in Auckland. Amazing coffee and incredible food. The sandwiches are always a good idea if you're wanting to takeaway, but if you have time order off their extensive menu. At the moment I love the hot pot. Melt in your mouth beef cheeks topped with a homemade yorkshire pudding! Oh and their caramel slice is most definitely worth a mention!
F.Coffee is not bad however cabinet food wasnt fresh. Both blueberry and apricot Danish are very soggy and hard to cut it :(

I genuinely think it is. I've been to amazing cafes, coffee shops and espresso bars all across the World. From Melbourne to London. I've worked in the coffee industry across the world too and am inherently hugely critical. Atomic is basically flawless.
This little Kingsland based roastery has amazing decor with plenty of seating, moody creative lighting, a beautiful table in the middle and even the menus are displayed nicely. The takeaway area is well set up and allows the business to push out the large clientele base's needs in no time. Attention to detail knows no bounds in every aspect of this place.
Aside from the incredible setup behind the counter to suit all your darkest coffee snoberies, the coffee menu offering is ahead of it's time for NZ, where you can pair some of the best espressos for an entrée before indulging in a fruity filter to peak your caffeine addiction. Even the tea I had after my meal, chosen from the great selection of blends, was amazing a refreshing.
Given this is a specialty coffee shop, I didn't expect much from the food offerings. The menu is small and cheap with the right amount of selection to match my hatred of large menus and my partner's annoyingly selective taste buds, so everybody wins. My expectations were blown away. The food was beautifully presented and had tastes to match. The colourful flowery garnish made me feel like I'd walked into my friend's Michelin star restaurant.
There are only two problems I had. No one came to see if I wanted another coffee, which after falling in love with the place in 20mins, I did. I had to walk up to the counter and ask but I understand most people want to be left alone to talk etc so I didn't really mind. Otherwise the staff were really nice.
The other is that I rarely find an excuse to get over to Auckland. Atomic could blow South London out of the water if it ever migrated. If only...

I.Always amazing coffee. I was in Kingsland at another cafe for breakfast and the coffee was terrible. Before going home I snuck into Atomic to cleanse my palate and remind myself of what coffee is supposed to taste like.
If your in Kingsland, this place is the best.
A.If you love the smell of coffee roasting, a great selection of coffees and other beverages, and a small but delicious menu, this is a place for you. While I am not a vegetarian, I profoundly enjoyed their vegetables wrap.
