Good: Tidy and bright environment. Friendly service. Food is also delicious with super fancy presentation. I thought osmanthus coffee could have any secret. But acturally it is just with syrup. Too sweet for me.

I've been to Bambina multiple multiple times before, and every aspect of this amazing Cafe is complete quality. From the food to the prices to the general vibe and staff of the Cafe, Bambina is a good place to take anyone, anytime! The reason I say that is because anyone could succeed in enjoying thier time here, as the Cafe has many gluten free and vegan options to pick from! If you're ever walking around Newmarket, this would be a great place to stop off and have a quick bite at! The wait here is what you would expect considering the amount of effort they put into making your meal, and the time you spend enjoyable. The staff here are very friendly to anyone and there are many seating options to chose from; from tables to sotting around a big table, to sitting on a couch, this place has it all! Bambina also has a modern and appealing layout, and is suit for everyone of all ages! Once again I would highly recommend coming here some time, because you won't regret it!

My new favourite cafe. They have such unique things on their menu which is a nice change from standard cafe food. Had the chia pudding today which was delicious. Hubby had the corn fritters which he said were lovely and my friend enjoyed his brioche french toast. I’ve had the blueberry ricotta hot cake in the past which was yummy. Hot drinks were superb.

Some other cafes at Newmarket currently closed with lack of staff etc so nice to see bambina open and full of people. Coffee was great, breakfast (Salmon Benny) was very tasty with the base a potato gratin and a hint of chilli in the Hollandaise. Plenty of room for social distancing, not many power plugs for the latop though, come fully charged :-) Parking was directly across from cafe, plenty free for breakfast stop.

Great food and service, with affordable prices. Super lucky to score a table as I walked in at 11.30 on a Sat, as it's totally packed. The wait for food was longer than expected, but worth it at the end. My friends got lamb cutlets and potato cakes with sausages. Both very happy!

Wow. I think I just found my new breakfast happy place. I had the eggs benedict. Beautifully presented and very well cooked. Lovely runny egg, home made hollandaise, crispy bacon, spinach and a lovely potato layer cake. Coffee was great. Service was great. I cannot recommend this place more.

First here and used ZOMATO GOLD MEMBERSHIP. For the meal, ordered grilled salmon and french toast and 2 orange juice for the drink. All the food looked visually great with various colour and well prepared. Compared to others, tasty was just average. Staff were welcoming but did not look after once served the meal. Somehow we overcharged and got a refund. Checking the bill is a recommendation before paid.

Great food great place! Family took me for another breakfast but that was my special day.... yup my birthday breakfast ❤️! Also their salad to go with had a nice apple dressing, I usually have to just shovle in the salad but this was enjoyable. food and coffee was awesome, my wife and I each had the spicy scrambled eggs and i had a turmeric latte, while she had a latte. The thing that stood out and made an impression on us was the staff. We went during a busy weekend morning but as soon as you step inside you are greeted, they serve you with efficiency and clear tables quickly. Excellent friendly service is a rarity these days but the team at Bambina knocked it out of the park!

Food was delicious and as described in other reviews, very picture worthy. Plenty of seating, we turned up as a group of 10 just before midday on a Sunday and had no problem finding a seat. Coffee was good, but did take a long time to come out, and appeared sporadically. Couple of items forgotten from our order as well, which I suppose is partly due to having 10 people, but happened with both the food and drink. Overall great though, will be back if passing through Newmarket again

Ahh. mmmm. So you know how sometimes you walk into a place and the decor is a million bucks but the food sucks. Well Bambina is the opposite of that. Let me talk about the food first. So my number one daughter and I decided to go out for breakfast on a wet and windy Saturday in sunny Auckland. being a Saturday, breakfast for said number one daughter is no earlier than 11am so it was a trifle before 11.30 that we headed out in the Defender to forage for breakfast. Finding ourselves in Newmarket we eventually found a park across the road from Bambina. Given said wind and rain the choice of Café was therefore a little arbitrary. Now I said I would first talk about the food but actually it was the coffee that first made me happy. Number one daughter, forthwith to be known as NOD, ordered a hot chocolate while I ordered a Mocha since the sun was not yet over the yard arm and coffee plus chocolate seemed appropriate given the weather. The thing about hot chocolate and the old Mocha is that like scrambled eggs its one of the cafe offerings that most often fails to please. Either its insipid because the 15 year old barista only dropped half a teaspoon of the chocolate analogue powder into the cup or insanely sweet because they decided that about half a cup of ersatz chocolate powder was about the right quantity. Not at Bambina! No Sir! Here the hot chocolate and therefore the decadent mocha is made with real solid chocolate that forms a melting lump in the bottom of your cup. Gentle stirring produces a beverage that tastes like, wonder of wonders, chocolate! Bliss on aforesaid wet and windy September morning. Ok, now for the food. So Bambina looks like a typical cafe. Tidy, slightly sparse, plain but smart. Typical café. So when I ordered the slow cooked short ribs and NOD ordered the corn fritters I expected average café food. The main item with some limp lettuce or baby spinach on the side. You know, typical café fare. What I wasn't expecting was restaurant quality presentation of really good restaurant quality food, emphasis on really good quality. I can't provide pictures because we devoured the flavoursome and beautifully presented food as if we hadn't eaten since dinner last night. So if you are skipping to the end the takeaway here is that Bambina in Newmarket is a smart little café that serves exceptional food and great coffee. Enough said!

I had the Lamb cutlets and my mum had the Chicken Salad. Both the lamb and chicken were juicy and not overcooked, and the salad with the dish is perfectly balanced with the meat. We didn't wait long for the food to come and also their drinks were great. Highly recommend the Ice Lemon Tea, it was very refreshing! 🍋🍹

Great place to go when meeting old friends, and has some very good coffee. The hot chocolates are also great, you get to melt the hot chocolate yourself. The staff are very friendly, great at remembering your order when you're a regular. Would highly recommend.

Had Kimchi fried rice in Level 3 lockdown It's ridiculously flavorful and tasty. There's depth, savoriness and umami flavors that permeate the entire dish. Eggs melted in the mouth, kimchi was chewy, everything is just perfect. If you are thinking about really diving into some unique Fusion cuisine, Bambina will never let you down. Beautiful cafe in Newmarket. Simple but tidy and airy ambience. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. We came to here for their vegan dish: coconut chia pudding. It’s amazing . They use rice syrup and coconut milk mixed with chia seeds. Not too sweet and rich . It’s great lightly meal for the healthy eating person. If you want to go healthy eats, you should try this superb dish in bambina cafe.

I come here often when I'm around new market, their tea's my fav, out of all that I've tried I don't think I've had anything bad. That huge table in the centre back is my go-to place, I try to pop by only when they're quiet, sit at that table, have a nice pot of tea and do whatever is needed on hand or just simply flip through the magazines. Well, for my taste anyways, I like smooth mild coffee with aroma :) Came with another friend this time, ordered some simple lunch, an Aubergine Panini and Chicken Filo, tried both, loved both. They're definitely up to standard, not your average café food. Is it just me or have they gotten better?! I'd be satisfied with this quality at a fine dining restaurant! You know how most café side salads are just too horrible to even try? ( I know I'm picky) this is not the case! I actually enjoyed it!! Well worth the money and experience!! I went here by my friend's wechat. I saw the beautiful photos, so decided to this cafe for trying. I ordered their top sale blueberry ricotta hot cake , and my boyfriend he had the banoffee French toast, both were so cute and delicious. We came here on Saturday morning after the gym, it's packed.the young staff told us maybe it would take a long time for our meal, I asked how long, she told me maybe 45 mins. But the kitchen said they would try to do fast as possible as they can. It's great service. High recommend this cafe . To be honest, it's one of the best cafe in Auckland!
