I stopped by Cafe Casu on a whim after dropping my mutts off at Pets In the City across the road. I was pleasantly surprised. Cute Cafe. Excellent coffee, food and service. Will be back for sure!

Nice and cozy place with great friendly staff. Selfie coffee was a hit with my daughter. Selfie printed cost a dollar extra and is pretty easy to get done. Parking available right outside the Cafe. Food was nice with a variety if selections.

We came to this cafe after seeing its high rating on Google, and were overall very happy with the coffee and our Eggs Bene with bacon. Service was friendly and polite, and our meals were served up within 10 minutes of ordering. Addressing the few minor negatives would have taken this review from 4 to 5 stars: our meals were served on cold plates, the water was rather tepid (thankfully, it was filtered), and there was only one item on the menu marked as suitable for those avoiding gluten. We will be back, as hubby is keen to try other dishes on the interesting menu.

Update Feb22: nice to see Casu open again. ( see opening hours photo) Coffee still great. Chicken& Cranberry Sausage roll a bit dense for me but tasty still. Previous review: Great breakfast, fresh and tasty plus Altura Coffee (you can even get your face printed on your coffee!) , Freindly staff. What more could I ask? I'll be back!

Cafe Casu has amazing tasty food but portions were small, $20 for a standard Eggs Benedict but it wasn't filling :) brilliant presentation but just not enough on the plate. We also were asked to sit on the table and the waitress will take our order, but every customer that came in she was serving first and then making their coffee, rather than taking our order. She served six new customers and mafe their coffees before coming to take our order. We waited for 15 minutes before she came over. She did apologize and we understand they may have been understaffed but she could have taken our order first and given to kitchen, and then made the other customers coffees. Other than that though very nice and we will be back again Thank you

Cute cafe with great food, perfect for brunch. We ordered French Toast which had the prettiest presentation ever + delicious and layered. And a good ol' hot chocolate for the rainy day, peep the little adorable cat stirrer.

Wonderfully friendly staff. Great selection of cabinet sweet and savoury items with a wide variety of salads. Good menu also with good options. Unassuming exterior appearance but very lovely experience.

Their iced latte and photo topping coffee are so gooood. The prawn pasta is very tasty! The staff is very friendly!

We only tried this place because we had some free coffee vouchers but the food was surprisingly really good. Very tasty and decent size portions. Coffee was really good too.

How far would I go for great coffee? 50km. Just to have a selfie coffee. I’d tried this coffee concept in Singapore. But this coffee is better. I met a friend for a catch up and ordered a B.L.A.T croissant. It was slightly heated and tasted fantastic. When I left I ordered two of their chocolate chip cookies. All in all, this was a great place for food, coffee and a catch up. I’d definitely go back.

Delightful atmosphere, yummy food nicely displayed, good service. It's great to have a cafe in this location, on the way to many destinations. Went in for a coffee and got some ready-to-eat food as well, but cant wait to try ordering something from the kitchen. Menu is easy to read. People in wheelchairs may have a very slight difficulty entering the store over the threshold bump, but the place is very friendly and accommodating. The bathroom looks beautiful - I think the best I've ever seen in a cafe. Bright and happy decor inside, very cute and cosy.

Enjoyed brunch here yesterday on the recommendation of a friend. Great coffee art, friendly staff and tasty, well presented food options. Sunny day with natural light streaming through made everything extra pleasant. Would definitely come again if in the area.

Awsome place in wairau valley. New peaple, new menu...They use Altura coffee bean. But Much better Altura coffee shop. Also there new menu is delicious and look beautiful. Friendly staff and nice place for enjoy your meals.

Good food and drinks! The area is nice and clean. Not too crowded as I went in at 9 AM. The outside area is really nice on a sunny day. The staff is also really nice and the food came out quickly. I would definitely recommend this place to a nice lunch with friends or a nice relaxing breakfast! I am definitely coming again!

I pop in often and the greetings from all the Casu team is humbling. They can not do enough for you and the food selection is always fresh, plentiful and tasty. Don’t just take my word pop in and experience the Casu experience Today I had the curry chicken dish. Cold miserable day but the dish was one of if not the best I have had. You can get tired of the vast selection of food.. You should try the Curry Chicken 😛

Excellent food selection, great coffee. Friendly efficient service. Very clean and tidy. A wonderful little cafe. On a very busy road, but they have quite a few off-road parking spaces.

The staff are super nice and friendly. The coffee and cabinet food is really good and super affordable. During lockdown they've had a well thought out approach to serving, with ordering one side and picking up the other so it's all contactless.

I wouldn't normally travel this far for a selfie hot chocolate but i was around the area and thought it would be rude not too! The photo in my drink was amazing! Friendly staff, very clean cafe and tasty hot chocolate. I didn't have any food. I highly recommend a visit

Pleasantly surprised and good example never judge a book by it's cover. I ordered egg benedict and French toast...wow it was amazing. Well priced and not expensive at all. Kids food were cheap but super yummy!!

I had bbq pork burger and my wife had a shrimp pasta. The burger was nice but taste was a bit flat. The shrimp pasta was very nice. I loved the kiwi drink I bought there.
