Visiting the area and found this cafe! Excellent coffee and awesome range of food! The hospitality is astonishing and welcoming and felt very warm will definitely be back for another coffee!

We had reserved a table for 4 of us and w added another person with no problems. 3 of us have had bariatric surgery. Cafe Manly accommodated our small portion sizes with friendly smiles. The food was well presented and tasted great. The full size potions were a good size for a couple of hungry blokes. Thank you Cafe Manly for a lovely experience.

Went here for breakfast this morning. Amazing coffee, one of the best I've had on the coast. Food presentation was amazing and it tasted great! Homemade crispy hash brown was the star of the meal. Service was with a smile. Only negative was the scone was a bit rock solid but had nice taste. We will be back ☺

After moving to the area, we tried out all the local cafe's. Cafe Manly is terrific - they have a great menu (we really enjoyed their Eggs Bene) and the coffee was really good (very important as far as we are concerned). When we arrived for our second visit a few days later the owner, Dave, welcomed us by name. As said, very friendly and personal service. We have been back many times since - Cafe Manly is our 'Go To' cafe in Whangaparaoa! Highly recommended!

After a few visits I can recommend stopping here to fuel up on the way to or from Shakespear regional park. It's about halfway along the peninsula that serves some nice food at reasonable prices and has friendly staff.

Nice place to stop for brunch. Like that they have gone out of their way to be pet friendly - dog leash ties, free dog treats and water bowls beside every outdoor table!

Great friendly service and very tasty well presented food...we had breakfast/brunch meal: 3 egg omelet (bacon, cheese, mushroom) and mince on ciabatta with potato rosti, vine tomatoes and parmasan shavings 😋

We never usually eat in manly but as we walked past a friendly staff member wished us a good morning, so we decided to pop in. Every table was clean and the Cafe was well staffed, even with it being a hot busy morning! We had the eggs benne with mushrooms and avacado and the French toast, both delicious large portions! The staff are clearly treated well by management and this was a great brekkie thankyou :)

I'm a regular at the cafe with my husband. The food is consistently good, along with the delicious coffee. Staff are nice and friendly. Today 30 Jan we visited just after 2pm and ordered the battered fish and chips. The meal was so good, crispy batter, the fish was tender and succulent. Also, the meal had no oil residue! One of the nicest piece of fish we've ever had. As usual the coffee was great too.

Great coffee and really good service. Manager came to our table and apologised for the wait (it had been about 5 minutes). There had been a group of 22 people before us who had just ordered. Said it wasn't good enough and gave us a free coffee! Impressive, we'll be back.

Coffee we ordered black, yet it was cold...very disappointing. HOWEVER The owner Dave made contact and we deduced it was a staff training issue and no black coffee should be warm or cold But HOT, AS a result....., how fabulous to be acknowledged and the issue Corrected. I have raised the star count because I have been here on many other occassions and been happy with both quality food and top noch service. Love this place. Great coffee, I like a large americano and have their vegan breaky with poached eggs. Perfect. There's not many cafes around that have a vegetarian breaky that isn't over complicated. I like foods I can identify and taste!!

I'm apart of the Navy Pistol Club, in which we call in for breakfast prior to going to the range. When we finish out on the Peninsula at the Military complex we return for a coffee and a bite before leaving for home. Its a great place for breakfast or lunch, and just chilling out with friends.

Best cafe I've been to hands down. The owners here are excellent, very personable and kind. The food is amazing and the service is top notch, coffee is magnificent too. A massive selection as well as many scrumptious cakes and savouries in the cabinet, I love it here.

They made me some pretty delicious fish and chips at 8:30 in the morning on a sunday after a 13 hour flight before promptly passing out so I'm going to give them a solid 5/5. Not the least expensive option but everything looked good and what I got was pretty great.

Coffee was great but chicken pie was sloppy and overheated in microwave. Muffin was a bit dry and flavourless. We are usually pretty forgiving about food styles but it could do a bit better here. One of the few places that still serve a whole bowl of coffee and for this, we would come back.

It's easily one of my favourite local cafes. The food and service has been consistently good for the years I've been coming here. I would recommend the Breakfast Box if you're super hungry or hungover AND the Squid Salad if you want a healthy meal. Sparx could do with a renovation but it's tired look only speaks to how long it's been in business, and good in business. I usually come here to catch up with friends and clients. They enjoy coming here too. Highly recommended.

We brought our daughter, they heated a muffin we ordered for her to her temperature so she can eat straight away. The vegan breakfast was original an fullying. food was amazing as well as the service. Will be back again for sure
