Reviews of Cornwall Park Cafe
D.
Lovely cafe. Good food. Good coffee. Nice seating outside on sunny days, and I love that I can bring my dogs with me.
N.
Despite having a reduced menu, they did all the food items so well. Fish and chips were so crunchy and fresh. Korean fried chicken was absolutely crunchy. Just the right amount of sauce drizzled over the beautifully moist chicken. The only thing that'll surprise you is how small the drinks are. Ahhh, wish it was bigger.
K.
Loved this place.Amazing vibe and lots of customers but I was seated ans served quickly. I ordered the Moroccan Chicken Salad. OMG it was absolutely divine. Best tasting meal in ages. Çompliments to the chef. I will be back
A.
A very nice dog friendly Cafe with great service and delicious food.
n.
A peaceful and relaxing park mood🙂 The food is fresh and delicious. The puppy next to me was so cute☺️
D.
A beautiful day so Cornwall Park Cafe was the place to head to. My friend is Chinese so I don't understand the racist review below. A warm welcome was given to everyone at lunchtime today. It was cold on the south side but they were gracious in moving us to a sunny table when available. Food was tasty and my friend loved her meat free Buddhist bowl.
K.
Can always count on great service and atmosphere, high standards of food and drinks 👌
Only disappointment is our most favourite waffles are off the menu, please bring it back 😁😆
I.
Situated near the entrance near the ASB Showground, there is plenty of car parking nearby. An attentive welcome, which was extended to my dog. The service was quick, the food tasty. The menu was varied. There was a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. It wasn't the cheapest lunch I've ever had, but the efficiency of the staff, the location of the cafe and the ability to go for a walk afterwards means I would return.
W.
Busy cafe in Cornwall Park. It always seems to be really busy here, so the wait time can be long at times. Cooked food is pretty good value for money and they also have cabinet food available. There is ice cream for sale outside, along with outdoor seating where you can keep an eye on the kids running around
L.
I love this place so much it’s a wonder I haven’t reviewed it yet! No matter what season, the food is always wonderful and the coffee is smoothly blenders. Their deconstructed hot chocolate is also divine if you want something hot and fancy that is not caffeinated.
The eggs are always done to perfection, the salmon is gorgeously salty and smoky, the herb potato rosti is something I dream about, and the servers are all kind.
Despite covid, the cafe is thriving.
N.
Nice cafe at Cromwell park. A good venue for friends and family to catch up, while the kids play at the park. Would be nice if there’s a playground just outside. Good customer service. Highly recommended.
J.
Thoroughly enjoyed visiting Cornwall Park today. Shame you couldn't drive to the top as l find climbing up hills a little difficult. I would have loved to have taken some pictures looking over Auckland. Other than that a good day out.
B.
Amazing atmosphere. Can get way too crowed though at the worst times.. But the service super prompt, and they always happy to help.
The big breakfast is what I recommend. Has some sort of spicy baked beans mix, and the nicest take on Hash Browns (similar) I have ever tried.
Definitely 5 stars for here!!
t.
Missing a star...
With the food they served and the beverage it's easy to receive at least 4 stars rating.
The location and environment was really superb and even though it's drizzling, the atmosphere is really enchanting. Even the birds strolling closely to the patrons without any fear and it's great that this place allows dog.
Lea makes a great server and her attentiveness to details was remarkable. She even brought me an extra glass for my wife when I mentioned that I'm waiting for her. I would give her extra star for her service. Her smile and friendliness is commendable.
In my opinion, amazing Charles is one of the best waiters I ever met who go beyond himself to serve the customers.
Sadly, my initial impression of the place was a little ruin by the manager who showed me a seat that's wet even though they were dry ones and the fact that she gave me the menu not even notice that there are bird poop on it.
Overall, the rest of the staff are friendly and the whole experience acceptable to deserve 3 stars
Z.
Beautiful food, coffee and friendly staff. The big breakfast was amazing. Fair pricing too
D.
we had called in with our daughter who was visibly upset and the most beautiful soul waitress wrote a gorgeous message on her smoothie cup, just so lovely and heartfelt, thank you so much.
I.
What's not to like here! Even with covid restrictions the staff amazing! Thank you!!
S.
I will rate 5 star for location..coffee is average..
J.
Great service and great food. I had a lovely time here with the family. I would recommend it if you're nearby.
I.
Beautiful spot. Excellent Food.
Can be a little cold in the morning but their are heaters in the outside section so get under one of those and it is lovely.
Lots of gourmet versions of standard meals.
Good selection of premium tea. Staff are friendly and attentive.
D.
Nice cafe super busy ion a Tuesday. Food wasn’t that good. Fish n chips battered was soft and so was the fries. Sandwich was not that nice.
J.
Didn't know there is a cafe here since few years ago. The staff is friendly and we get a seat very quickly beside a busy day. We get the food pretty quickly and taste is good. There is a big outdoor environment and kids can play while waiting for the meal. We love this place and really enjoy the quality time here. Will be back more often to meet up friends and families.
R.
First time I have been to this Cafe. The staff were very friendly and I had a bacon omelet which was amazing. Definitely be going back again.
R.
Fresh air and a lovely park location. Great for families and dogs. Lots of loyal customers. Friendly service.
Unfortunately the food is in no way impressive. Served cold, underseasoned and really lacking flavour. Needs to try much harder. Just as any school report implies.
We expected much better.
S.
Smoothies here wonderful. The salads tasty. It's a prey good find for park cafe. Service was quick and efficient. Being from the USA we tend to avoid park cafes with a lock on having no competition thus resulting in poor food and service. This was far different and very much worth the stop.
S.
Cornwall park cafe is one of the “2017 Top 50 restaurants”. The coffee was decent and didn't take too long. The food was also great with good portion sizes and the high standard quality. We ordered full breakfast and egg bene with salmon. The atmosphere was relaxed and cozy. Service was ok. The place was whole packed and we had to wait and we waited around 15 mins. BTW!!! Pets friendly 👍👍👍
D.
Food has always been tasty with points of difference each time. Cabinet food is always beautiful to look at and is discounted in the afternoon which is a treat.
L.
Had a big breakfast (Cornwall Grande) and my manager had egg omelette, such a big feast! Also surprisingly they are not overpriced on anything even located at such prime location
C.
The park has always been one of my favorite places to go, so having a cafe that opens right up to the park is a bonus. It is a very popular venue though, so you will have to expect to wait at least 15-20min, particularly on sunny days. The service since going back has improved immensely, with staff checking to make sure we're warm and comfy, offering more than enough blankies. The food (fries especially) are my go to, but other items have never disappointed, coffees are a must get. Bring you dog, your kids, your family, friends, it's the perfect place to chill and relax in great atmosphere.
M.
Awesome cafe, good refreshment food stuff available here. Ice cream is also really nice.
A.
Very busy throughout those beautiful Auckland days. Inside seating as well as outside seating on long tables and benches. Additional spots on the grass under the shade of several trees, and a few bean bags. Lots of room for the kids to run around, or bike/scooter.
S.
Really nice place ,very well organized and safe environment to relax and have a nice meal.thought staff were excellent.
M.
Food was great. Not sure how hygienic it is to have dogs inside a cafe/restaurant and also where there are young children.
S.
Fantastic venue in the middle of beautiful Cornwall park. Friendly service with outdoor seating. The risotto was exquisite, best one I've ever had. Fresh ingredients, good mix of flavours and texture.
D.
Ideal spot for children, dogs and large groups surrounded by stunning landscapes of Cornwall Park. The cafe offers large range of cabinet sandwiches and petite size food for kids. The price isn’t too far off from other cafes. Great place to come in a sunny day! Highly recommended.
G.
Great range of food from snack to meals. Good service and lovely setting. Prices also great.
L.
This place is such a cute cafe! Lots of people around here are walking their pets and just doing general fitness stuff.
Great thing about this place is that it’s very open/ dining. You can also have your dog sit with you at the outside tables.
From what we ate for breakfast all I can say is that it was well portioned and had great flavours, even though it was just avocado with an egg on toast. Yummy!!!
F.
Great customer serivce. Coffe is nice even without latter art :P BUT... waffle ??? I expected to have it baked in house but its taste is extactly the same as the one sold in Countdown.. T.T
P.
Well laid out for covid restrictions.
Good range of food available, well presented, both hot and cold. Nice staff, well presented premises.
B.
Lovely place. Spacious and perfect surroundings. Would go again.
H.
Second to none for location, food, drinks and coffee in the park. Is regularly packed out but nothing that the staff can't handle. 11/10 rating!
M.
This place is very busy and we were lucky to get a table but we are glad we did. The food was of a real high quality and the staff friendly and professional. I had the Corn Fritters which were made differently than I am used to but were fantastic, I will go back just for them!
C.
One of my favourite parks to go to. During summer great for picnics, cycling, walks and just appreciate the surroundings. In spring has beautiful flowers to see like the cherry blossoms tree which has become a yearly thing for me to go and see and the daffodils.
D.
Great service, loved the Morrocan chicken salad! A very busy place on a sunny day, can be quite loud inside.
A.
A fresh place to enjoy your coffee and walk about. And the building withholds history..so a great spot overall.
H.
Nature's spectacular show ,excellent landscaping and some lovely aged trees !
L.
Amazing views, lovely place and very attentive and helpful staff. Food was delicious and scones are HUGE!!!!
J.
Pleasant staff nice food but don't like that they allow dogs in there outdoor sitting
N.
Friendly and nice setting. Good food.
B.
Good coffee and service the pastries seemed a bit bland.
But great little cafe.
A.
Great spot for a quick coffee or lunch if you are walking in Cornwall Park. Sit on the grass on a beanbag or get a table in the cafe
J.
Nice setting, good table service. Would go back for a cruisy brunch anytime 😃
R.
Good food but they did forget or lost part of our table's order, it was extremely busy and crowded so there was some mitigating circumstances. They have a very good menu and ready foods in the display cabinets. All the different sorts of drinks as per a good cafe, friendly staff and pretty efficient with a couple of learners whom one should always be nice too, they're working very hard and ready to learn.
C.
Good service. Good food and reasonable price. Would go again
S.
Went on Mother's Day so super popular, but it's like this almost every weekend so be prepared to wait. Its nicely furnished, lots of natural light looking out to Cornwall Park. Food is good, menu or counter options. Service is fine, but can be a bit frazzled, see above. Oh yeah it's quite loud inside when full, not so good if hard of hearing.
They have a few kids toys, pencils etc tucked away.
B.
Visited this beautiful place for brunch and it was soo good. The customer service was excellent even though the cafe was busy. Had Eggs Benedict and coffee it was great. Rain or shine you will have a good scenery which makes it more enjoyable. Five ⭐️
B.
There's nothing bad to say about the Cafe of abkut Cornwall Park itself. Both are absolute gems.
R.
Great atmosphere, lovely staff and delicious food! We ordered off the breakfast and lunch food and enjoyed every bite! It's well worth going for one of their 'deconstructed' drinks which are so much fun to put together and so easy to make it exactly how you want - they're more expensive than the traditional version but you get so many extras! Added bonus that you can go for a walk around the beautiful Cornwall Park after.
C.
Really delicious Buddha bowl. Lovely indoor and shaded outdoor eating areas, surrounded by greenery. Service was very efficient.
Great menu and also a good variety of non standard cafe food from cabinet available. Something to eat for all budgets. 🍽 😊
R.
Great place to chill and enjoy the beauty of Cornwall Park, another of Auckland’s fantastic assets. Great food and generally good service.
C.
Beautiful park, my favorite in Auckland. Can walk around for hours, so much ground to explore!
N.
It took our order close to an hour to get served so service could definitely be improved. However, food is really tasty combined with the view on a good sunny day. I would recommend the big burger.
D.
Delicious cabinet selection of sweet treats. Perfect place to stop on a walk through Cornwall park and it's dog friendly. Decent menu and it's a really nice place to come all year round with a sunny conservatory style patio, outdoor and indoor seating. Sparkling water served on tap.
K.
Consistently good food, and ok, you are paying a bit for the setting and location. I think it's worth it. Gentrified exotic species on a trampled upon maunga, but we're all stressed - appreciate what we have...put the recharge into good use.
S.
I usually pick up a takeaway coffee on my way to work here on a fairly regular basis. I drink a small mocha which ranges from $4.50 - $5.00 at most places. However this morning I was asked to pay $5.50 when I ordered this. I questioned why the increase? One of the wait staff said something about an increase in staff wages. This is outrageous no one charges this amount for a small coffee that I’m aware of. Well if that’s the case it will cease to be my regular morning coffee stop off which is a shame as the coffee is very good!
H.
Great they have "petite" size eggs Benny's so you don't have to feel you are wasting food if you are not hungry. Staff was friendly and prompt. Only thing was the bread was very sweet.
Cafe is busy so not recommended for those who are are looking for something quiet.
R.
Ordered a ice coffee at $6.5. The mini size was disappointed me 😂
D.
Nice place for brunch. Had the salmon poke bowl
A.
The food wasn't as good as it was from before. However a great Cafe to grab a coffee for a nice sunny day.
G.
Certainly exceeded expectations. The waffle was jaw dropping and the eggs bene one of the better ones in the city.
E.
Really good presentstion of dishes, yum coffee and a great location
C.
Great food. Great coffee. Great service. A lovely environment.
A.
Great food & service. Perfect for a relaxing brunch after a stroll in the park.
A.
Lovely food, very busy and popular, located within Cornwall Park.
R.
Perfect spot for family, friends and social bunnies to chill and enjoy music. Kids bring bikes & fun games. Lots of space to throw a frizzby. Place to barbecue too.
R.
Outstanding! I expected this place to be trading on its location, and so not expecting great service. Boy i was wrong. The food and service was outstanding. All staff were efficient and engaging, and the food was perfect. Highly recommended.
L.
Nice cafe and nice food, not too crowded in the weekdays.
P.
Lunch on a busy sunny day. Took a little while to get seated (we went looking for someone) but then the table selection was ideal and the food was great, especially the pulled beef brisket sandwich. Definitely returning
K.
Was being run very well under lockdown. Very organised. Good coffee on a rainy day, thank you.
А.
Nice food and coffee but..horrible service. waiting for a coffee for 30 mins (always). Also they charged me more than it was noted in menu on the wall. When I questioned it waitress told me: menu is incorrect. It is unacceptable - People make decisions based on menu. I told it to the manager and she was very rough to me
S.
I usually love this cafe, but I went for the first time in winter and I felt so cold. The doors are all open. There is insufficient heating for outside areas. Older ladies were forced to sit in the cold wind. That being said, the food is great, service is good and coffee is yummy. Please add more heating.
H.
The dude out front is a total champ, sorted out any problems immediately with no fuss. Easily saved this from being a disappointing meal. Overall thoughts of the group were: quite average. Not sorry we came but in zero hurry to return. I asked, and they only have one fryer and they do fish in it so the rosti in my benedict and my brothers grande brekky tasted like fish, and my bff didn't bother finishing her slightly soggy chicken wrap. Our other friend really enjoyed her open steak sandwich tho, and the staff were prompt and polite, so not all bad. Can say the outdoor benches and tables are super comfy and the umbrellas provide more than adequate shade. Also, the gingerbread men are pretty amazing. I'd imagine the extraordinary busyness of this place is putting a lot of pressure on staff and they do well with what they've got. Just maybe get another fryer for vegetarian stuff?
D.
"A nice cozy gem in a beautiful setting. Friendly service and nice coffee." :)
A.
Best dog friendly cafe in Auckland. Really nice food. The coffee was good. Good ambience. Full of fur babies.
K.
Very popular spot. In summer they put out bean bags on the grass too. Food here is nice but very expensive.
D.
Good food at reasonable prices.
Nice in park on a fine day,, 😁😁but draughty etc on rainy days☔☔ need ♨️♨️then customers will smile. 👀😳👀😬
M.
Two days back I forgot my umbrella near the restaurant (outside hut) , today I went again to the park and met one of the restaurant staff and casually asked about umbrella without any hope, she was so helpful even though she was very busy with the work , she searched inside and found it !! I am glad that even for this small things , she took an effort !! Really thankful to her !! ❤️ Merry Christmas to all 🧑🎄🧑🎄
G.
Nice cafe beautifully situated in Cornwall Park surrounded by extensive grass areas and trees. Well managed, good food & service. Recommended.
j.
Great Oasis in a busy city. Fabulous to take a country lunch break or buy an ice coffee at the Cafe and stroll through the park.
M.
Always busy, but always quick service.
Food fresh and tasty.
Amazing location.
H.
Very nice with relaxing atmosphere. Very kind staff
L.
Pros:
- location lovely
- staff friendly, service relatively quick considering how busy they were
- food presentation great
Cons:
- I tried both meals that were ordered, and wasn't impressed with either. Fish and chips, & waffles (incredibly sweet, even for someone who was craving sweet!).
R.
Been coming here for a while and have always loved the service. Have decided to finally post a review as recently Andrew and his team have been phenomenal, especially in the current “Covid” climate.
I always look forward to going to the ice cream cart!
J.
Lovely location, great coffee and food.
I.
Changed since my childhood. Lots of happy families playing, walking, cooking, dogwalking
B.
Beautiful setting, food really good, but portions were too large. Service very mixed. Drinks - we were charged an extra wine, that we didn't order.
P.
Coffee had been sitting for awhile before I got it, and was not very hot, scone looked nice but was very dense and dry, the park, however, is a lovely setting
J.
Fantastic setting with great coffee and a great selection of amazing food. From breakfast through to dinner. Well worth a visit
D.
Top service nice staff
Good coffee
A.
Went here on a Sunday morning. Beautiful setting, lots of cute dogs everywhere and plenty of nice looking food. The woman who greeted us was lovely but all the other staff seemed annoyed. Limited vegan options but they are getting there. Tasty coffee. Looking forward to visiting again to give them another go!
l.
Servers were busy but very helpful and friendly
D.
great cafe, good food, great for the kids to run around a bit, low key
H.
Chill vibes, friendly staff, delish food - lots of choices, beautiful scenery
H.
Very nice brunch. Perfectly cooked eggs. Only complaint was that everything was rather cold :-/
T.
Lovely setting, pleasant staff. The food on the other hand was fairly lacklustre. The potato hash was bland, the avocado toast had a taste as if it came from the fridge, the coffee tasted more burnt than full flavoured. Slightly disappointing, but not overly bad. Just not as good as some alternative cafes.
R.
The vibe, the space and the natural beautiful surroundings of Cornwall Park! Absolutely stunning! Have your early morning breakfast and coffee there ! Highly recommended
K.
Great food, great & friendly service. Been there now regularly twice a week and really happy. I would recommend it highly but then you would all come and I wouldn't have a seat. 😉
D.
This place was buzzing, visited on a Tuesday Lunch just for Coffee. Asked not to have take away cups especially with plastic lids and that was exactly what we were given. Service was nice and quick and its such a lovely setting in The Park. Well worth a visit as there was a lovely atmosphere!
V.
A convenient spot to grab a bite to eat or a snack/ice cream on a hot summer day. Didn’t sit down for anything in the cafe but just got some ice cream from the small ice cream stand. Ordered one scoop of the hokey pokey ice cream and received a generous portion. Price was reasonable and service was extremely friendly and quick. The ice cream itself on the other hand was very average and didn’t offer much depth of flavor. The vanilla was very forgettable and the honeycomb bits offered a nice contrast in texture but didn’t have a very rich flavor.
J.
What an awesome location! Friendly staff and good food. Some days, especially weekends, you need to get in early as the queues can get very long quite quickly.
r.
Friday morning high tea - so not too many customers which makes thing easy for staff. Excellent Service. Variety of food. More savouries than sweets which was good. Most of the food was interesting. A couple of things were ordinary. On the whole a pleasurable experience.
B.
Read the poor reviews before dining here but we were keen for a bite after a walk in the park, decided to give it a go. The service was very efficient and friendly. We were attended to very quickly and our coffees arrived fast and hot (we ended up getting another). Yummy food and decent selection in cabinet too. Sat outside in the sun, really nice atmosphere. Dined on a Tuesday at lunchtime.
s.
nice food and a great place to go on a sunny day. Dog friendly!
N.
Nice food and great staff
А.
Nice food and coffee but..horrible service. waiting for a coffee for 30 mins (always). Also they charged me more than it was noted in menu on the wall. When I questioned it waitress told me: menu is incorrect. It is unacceptable - People make decisions based on menu. I told it to the manager and she was very rough to me
P.
Always a pleasure to visit & enjoy the impeccable service, views & coffee
j.
Great Oasis in a busy city. Fabulous to take a country lunch break or buy an ice coffee at the Cafe and stroll through the park.
L.
One of my favourite places in Auckland!
D.
Rated this location pretty highly quite awhile back, but it's good to revisit to see if they have maintained their high standard. I wasn't disappointed.
S.
Very quick service and friendly staff, very good all day menu that is fresh and delicious.
C.
Nice cafe in the park. Popular with families and dogs! 😍
P.
Nice place in the middle of the park. 🌳 Great coffee ☕ as they have almond milk 🙌😁
S.
Great coffee for our picnic under the trees.
A.
Love the location, the food and drinks are great - my only reservation is that the service can vary. Pick a day/time when they're not packed and chances are it will be a very agreeable experience.
L.
Great Cafe....very busy. Seating is difficult as its very popular. Good food plenty of parking. Friendly staff.
N.
This is a nice well presented cafe located inside the park. Service was good especially with the amount of people and children we had in our group and we were able to get a table quite quickly. Food was really nice and prices were as to be expected. It can get quite busy on the weekends and during holiday periods.
E.
Good table service, excellent food, indoor / outdoor eating. Good range of meals and meal prices as well as kid menu options and plenty of drinks to choose from.
M.
Good quality food and drink, and friendly staff. It can get very busy here at certain times of day. Ordered a milkshake here once, and it was quite small considering the cost. But can't fault the quality of what they do.
B.
Always a nice place for a walk or a bbq with friends and family.
S.
A bouquet for the Cornwall Park Cafe.
We had lunch there today and experienced the result of some good quality staff training. There was a small issue with one of the lunches, but the waitress barely took 10 seconds to acknowledge the issue and instantly respond by removing the lunch, promising a quick replacement and that we would not be charged for either plate. All this occurred exactly as she had indicated. Thank you for that. All the staff interaction we experienced was positive.
The Eggs Benedict was good too.
Pleased we chose the Cafe and not the Bistro, where the person answering the phone was clearly having a bad day.
We will be back to the Cafe in the future.
H.
Lovely place to hang around and have a nice hot chocolate.
F.
nice location, semi-efficient staff and my almond flat-white was good. However my buttermilk waffles were so incredibly sweet that they really didn’t taste good with the bacon they came with - I was crunching sugar crystals and felt like I was eating bacon with a cake. Somehow didn’t feel freshly made but more like the waffles you buy in a packet. I wonder if they were. For $16 for 2 waffles, 2 small pieces of bacon and half a banana I hope not. At any rate I wouldn’t recommend them.
T.
We were seated quickly by Toni, served by Giovanni and despite being chocca, the service, food, everything was top notch. Even the weather was perfect. Thanks CPC!
A.
A beautiful cafe inside Cornwall park. Has indoor and outdoor seating area. The cafe offer beautiful view of the park, and one tree hill top. The cafe also offers variety of dishes for breakfast and lunch or evening tea. A nice place for a small group or for family. You can grab a takeway from the cafe too.
M.
Great food and service, so popular that no reservations taken, very busy morning coffee time.
J.
Great location and atmosphere. Good food and drinks. Just a but pricy.
G.
Great little place always enjoy a coffee here. Quite busy on weekends and at peak times so be warned there maybe a wait but man what a great location. Menu food is great although the cabinet food isn’t always that flash looking. Parking is a bit hard but if your in luck it can be fairly quick.
I.
One of the best outdoors cafe
J.
Nice place and both food and coffee good. A shame my husband had finished his food when mine arrived. And I had to ask for a knife and fork!! We were told when we paid that the food came one from the cabinet and one ftom the kitchen which was why they arrived separately.
J.
This cafe is in a great location in the park. We love taking the kids here during the week. They can ride around the park and then we can have a warm drink and something to eat. The staff are all friendly and thoughtful when seating us e.g. putting us in a warm corner as we've got a baby. Food was delicious
O.
Staff here were so accomodating! Thank you!
H.
nice cabinet food, never tried the menu. Staff seem a little rushed
A.
Lovely spot in the park. Good food and excellent cheese scone. Quite noisy inside. Can always get a table even when it is busy, as there are outside tables. Some good veggie options. Dogs welcome in outside covered area.
F.
We chose Cornwall Park cafe so we could enjoy lunch in a beautiful autumn setting. The setting was perfect but the service decidedly not. Our four lunches arrived one-by-one over a 40 minute interval. When we mentioned this on paying the bill there was no apology but simply a response that the kitchen was small. Perhaps fewer tables might be an option in that case?
B.
Enjoyed the food. Service was friendly and efficient. A good overall experience.
L.
It's got a lot going for it in a positive location good selection of counter food. Nothing to write home about and charge slightly less than a wounded bull. Somewhat noisy but that's to be expected as its light and airy and the type of clientele have rather higher pitched loudish voices. The proprietors try very hard and that's to be commended.
C.
Good cafe with nice food. Could do with expanding there brunch options, especially for those who dont eat meat as vege memebers of the party had only one option. Gŕeat ambiance, especially on a beautiful day. The creamy mushrooms were amazing, not to creamy, and a very generous serving!
P.
Nice place in the middle of the park. 🌳 Great coffee ☕ as they have almond milk 🙌😁
D.
Good place to spend the day
D.
Lovely food but had to wait a very long time for coffee.
R.
A place in paradise. Cornwall Park Cafe is a Gem - which you must visit.
a walk in the park and a coffee will do you a load of good.
This Cafe is pet friendly too
K.
Went to cafe today and we were so impressed. Lovely atmosphere and staff, plus the food came out really quickly! They brought out a piece of cake with a candle in & sang happy birthday to our mum, very unexpected and a real treat for her turning 93 today. We will definitely be back!

On a sunny Auckland Saturday we enjoyed a lovely family gathering with 10 people of three generations and a small bouncy dog. We sat outside on a bench while visitors and cafe clients with pets wandered around and small children enjoyed free range biking experiences. The staff were very busy but we were served promptly and courteously as they good-humouredly dodged the lively obstacles. The food was scrumptious - every one of our party was delighted with the dish they ordered and the coffee was fabulous. We would all definitely visit again and are very glad we weren't put off by the dreadful reviews I read before we met together.
W.
Beautiful setting and atmosphere. I ordered the home baked beans and chorizo and was a bit disappointed to find there were only 5 thin slices of chorizo. My friend ordered the hens eggs and couldn’t taste any truffle oil. They also ask for a debit card to start a tab for your table when you order. The food was average, but the staff were really friendly.
S.
Vegetarians: don't bother. Service was lovely. Long wait for food - almost an hour - on a busy Sunday morning. They did let me adapt one of their breakfasts to make it vegetarian-friendly, but I ended up paying well over $20 for my mix and match dish. It was okay, but not really the brunch I'd hoped for, and certainly not worth the money.
X.
Lovely setting, good coffee albeit a bit too hot. Bean bags you can take to a shady tree. Good good. Dog friendly. Attentive staff with good attitudes.
K.
One of my absolute favourite places in Auckland. I go here almost every weekend as I stay at walking distance. Great Coffee, super friendly staff, an open playground for the kids to play, and stunning views. Perfect for a lazy weekend breakfast. Just bring your Football or Frisbee along!
C.
A bit disappointed as this place had a review of 4.1 stars, but I felt it should be more a 3 star rating. To keep things short, here was my positives/negatives with the cafe:
Positives:
- Location is beautiful and has great scenery/green nature, etc.
- Overall the food tasted above average, and coffee/tumeric latte was good.
Negatives:
- Not value for money. I ordered the Salmon wrap (the description on the menu made it sound pretty good). It ended up being half a panini wrap where some of the wrapping paper of the wrap got stuck to my panini so had to manually rip that off. The taste was above average and all this cost $14! My wife ordered the pork belly benedict with the normal serving size. When it arrived, the presentation and the portion size was underwhelming (this costs ~$24!). The bread the pouched egg was on tasted very "airy" and felt like you didn't eat anything. The pork belly however tasted pretty good and was well seasoned and cooked.
- The venue was very loud. Because the entire place is wrapped around glass walls, and there were a lot of seats/tables circling around the entire place, the sound of people's conversations would bounce back and be trapped inside. It made the entire place very loud and quite uncomfortable. If you wanted a quiet place to relax, catch up with a friend, I wouldn't recommend this location. You would be better off getting a coffee and a snack from this location and sit outside on the grass.
Overall, this place has a lot of potential, but I think because of it's prime location (with nothing else nearby) they kinda left it as-is knowing that you would have to go there for food/coffee if your visiting Cornwall Park. They have more than enough guests so I doubt they would fix these issues and can charge whatever price they see fit.
I personally would not go back again. There are better cafes within driving distance to get more value for money, and offers a more relaxing experience. However, if I do visit Cornwall Park for a jog or a run, I may swing by and grab a coffee-on-the-go.
W.
If I could give a point if 10, I would. . Exceptional - excellent quality, presentation, ambience, service.. they have it all. Totally well done snd good value. Thank you so much snd a Merry Christmas to all of you .
D.
Gorgeous food, great ingredients, well thought out and put together dishes, generous portions.
B.
Amazing location.
They have an ice cream stand.
Unforgettable in every way
And forevermore that's how you'll stay.
Possibly.
J.
Great food, very busy establishment. We needed to wait outside for a table to be available. Well worth the effort. They take both counter orders for a quick stop or sit and order from an interesting menu.
P.
Three things:
Firstly. The phone number in the Google listing is wrong (09 630 2888). The Cafe does not have a phone, so you can't make reservations. If you call this, you will instead call the Cornwall Park Bistro (which has two phone numbers) 300m up the road next to the Visitors centre l. This leads to quite a bit of confusion. Hopefully the owners will sort this out soon.
Secondly, they have a large number of tables, and what appears to be a small kitchen which struggles to pump out the food during busy periods. If you arrive here in the weekend, holiday, or when there is an event at the ASB Showgrounds, be prepared for what could be a considerable wait. The Cafe should consider being a bit more conservative about accepting new orders during peak times. Other reviews seem to back this up.
Lastly, if you can endure the wait for food, it is actually pretty good. After waiting 55 minutes for our order, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and portion size of what we ordered. The management offered us complimentary coffees to apologise for the wait, and they were good too.
In short, good food, good coffee, but avoid ordering items which need to be prepared in the kitchen during peak times unless you are prepared to wait..
H.
Just finished High Tea here for a cousins 50th Wedding anniversary and it was full of fabulous delights and service. Highly recommended! & that Spanish waiter is excellent, all served and taken away professionally, hard to find in NZ, Well done Team Bistro
M.
Great coffee, good food options, clean toilets, cafe and outside seating options. It’s a busy place in a peaceful environment.
j.
We asked for more aioli and they DELIVERED. Best aioli ever, basically gave us a bucket. I love you so much.
E.
We were very satisfied with the quality of the dishes served here! The soup of the day (Pumpkin Soup), pastries (Mushroom, Spinach, and Cheese muffin), and the Sautéed Mushroom Eggs Benedict was very flavorful and satisfying on the cold autumn day. Also, the Hot Lemon Toddy had a very strong and satisfying ginger taste which prompted us to order another 2 of them for the road! The surrounding park trees (autumn colours) were also very nice to see while we enjoyed our lunch. This place is popular among the locals, so you shouldn't have an issue with noisy tourists. I definitely reccomend this place if you're in Cornwall Park.
T.
This was our second time at attempting to get a table here. Saturday morning is super busy so not an ideal time when you have young ones.
However we were in luck, a table was available as soon as we arrived, we were seated outside around the corner. It pays to dress warmly especially on cold winter mornings.
Table service was professional hot drinks arrived quickly coffee was good then the food arrived, delicious with plenty on the plate.
The cafe appeared to be very busy as Cornwall Park is popular with people visiting, exercising & walking thier dogs.
D.
Great coffee, great omelettes, quick, friendly and efficient service. The wonderful vista to the NE to watch the day start from the outdoor tables is a bonus.
N.
Ordered smoothies from here and loved it.
M.
Sunday 20th Food was OK but.... "you mentioned it would be 30mins for food, its been over an hour" response "you shouldn't have come in on the weekend" ...
C.
Poppy seed lemon loaf and rocky Road with a flat white as our afternoon tea there. Kid loved doing colouring, while the adult enjoyed a short-lived serenity. Beautiful surroundings, friendly staff, nice and clean bathrooms.
N.
Very busy cafe so go early! Also a great place to meet friends in the middle of the beautiful Cornwall Park. At times the cabinet food hasn’t tasted the best hence the three stars. Menu items have always been spot on.
c.
We arrived and there were no tables available. ( it was a beautiful, sunny Sunday lunch time, so much of Auckland was there) .. We were advised that there would be at least a 25 minute wait..so we waited and had coffees from the coffee van that was right there..
After about 20 minutes a table was free and we (8 of us) were seated and served..
Our waitress wasn't the friendliest we have met, but she was super busy and she was very efficient.
The food was beautifully presented.. I had the line caught sardines ..and It was memorable.. The sauce was perfect somehow they had taken the over-saltiness of sardines out without losing the flavour..
Will definitely go back when next in Auckland
and will recommend to all..
R.
Love this cafe. It's slightly overly priced but location, location, location. The food and coffee is good here too. Staff are friendly and its kid friendly.
S.
Food and coffee was average, service was pretty erratic and pot luck as to whether you order would turn up. Nice location with plenty of outdoor seating.
W.
Despite occasional wait which is common for good popular spots, Cornwall Park Cafe is one worthwhile waiting. The coffees are great, food impressive but importantly, the lady owner is very hospitable. Will always pop by there.
S.
The coffee was very basic and too hot to have it straight away; and they put sugar in my hubby's coffee although I asked not to do that. A very basic service, perhaps, due to the morning crowds. Not sure I will go there again
E.
Coffee good, service average, food cold!
D.
Rated this location pretty highly quite awhile back, but it's good to revisit to see if they have maintained their high standard. I wasn't disappointed.
H.
Great place to get coffee when walking around one tree hill.
The cafe is always busy so they're is a bit of a wait to get a table. We had to wait for our food forever. People who arrived after us for served first and or food did blue arrive together.
D.
It is so sad that they changed the menu, I love a dish before but I cannot get it now. The environment and service both great, a good place to relax on weekend.
D.
I stopped for lunch on a weekday. Didn't have to wait long to be seated but otherwise, the service was terribly slow (20 minutes to take your order). I ordered a chicken sandwich and chips, it was ok.....nothing special. It's fine to pop in if you're walking the park but I wouldn't make a special effort to go there.
E.
Small wait for a table, accommodated adults, kids and dogs.
Had to remind them about coffee order and had almost finished our meals.
Food was on the small side, especially for the price, and cold eggs.
S.
Very quick service and friendly staff, very good all day menu that is fresh and delicious.
P.
Great atmosphere, excellent selection of meals especially Vegetarian.
I ordered Mushroom Truffle and it was delicious.
r.
Great deconstructed ice coffee
G.
We were promptly seated as soon as we showed up, but then it took atleast 5 mins for any staff to take our order. The waitress that seated us was standing idle outside looking for a table to serve instead of coming back to us. We ended up having a different server. The hot chocolate is famed for being top 5 in Auckland, although it was decent it came warm instead of "hot" as the name implies, and I felt that there was way too much chocolate powder in the drink it was very strong it was even powdered on the lip of the mug. I requested no marshmallows so they put them on the side instead of inside the drink which is not a big issue. Overall the staff was very friendly just the product itself let them down.
G.
Family atmosphere. Even when busy service was good. Relaxing and casual. Plenty of parking. Spacious lawn with old bandstand with stunning views across Auckland. Children friendly.
K.
Very very busy and noisy. Staff not particularly friendly - probably too busy! ut food is good. There are far better cafes than this around the area.
S.
Not my favourite coffee place anymore.
Don't go on a weekend. Rude staff, inresponsible. Completely got ignored, waited ridiculous long time for food. awful taste food ever since they changed their menu. Also very pricy.
J.
I got the Mexican Fish Taco for $15 - and it was just like one wrap and sadly did not have much fish in it all and was mostly red cabbage. Would only come back for the good coffee :)
D.
This used to be a favourite spot of mine. Visited today and the smoothies were subpar for $11 per. Pretty dissapointed
J.
The food is delicious. Fast service. Not always seating available. Very busy. But plenty of parking and friendly staff. Reasonably priced
W.
the best cafe in Auckland .
staff are very good
food and coffees are great.
High End - and delivers everytime
B.
This cafe is great. The food is top end and the service is good too. It's hard to believe there was ever a fire here, the decor is light and breezy however it is busy so I would suggest that you get their early to miss the masses.
N.
Great coffee and menu. Polite and attentive staff and nice experience. Keep it up!
D.
Coffee and cakes are good, so good for a stop when walking through the park. When it is busy, and it usually is, the noise inside is deafening, making it hard to hear (maybe making everyone talk even louder). Tables outside are good alternative in fine weather and they do have blankets.
R.
lovely setting in the park. very good coffee. enjoyed the lemon tart. very friendly and considerate staff helping take away customers find shelter when it rained briefly.
P.
Perfect place after walk in Cornwall Park.
The long black is nice, the chocolate croissant too
it's not so really expensive for a coffee in famous park.
But from time to time, the staff is not welcoming
G.
Love this place ! Perfect location right in Cornwall Park, cafe is absolutely buzzing but the service is friendly, attentive and efficient.
The space is light and bright, open to the park on 3 sides, with plenty of seating inside, outside under the shades verandah, and outside.
Gorgeous cakes and sweet treats, and the food menu just right, and all beautifully presented. AllPress coffee , which means you're guaranteed a good coffee. Some latte art would have been the cherry on the top, but I'm just splitting hairs .
Love this place, will definitely be back !
L.
Not too busy on Easter Sunday and no surcharge for the holiday. Lovely spot for breakfast on a sunny day after a brisk walk. The fresh OJ and complimentary water were great.
J.
The food was very delicious and the servers were very helpful and efficient. We had twelve seated and the food was served quick. I would go there again!
M.
Standard coffee fare, service staff are good, good coffee and nice scones, had takeaway
J.
Coffee is generally good in my opinion and the food is good too...coffees are also turned around quickly even when busy. Staff are generally busy, although sometimes can be alittle sharp if stressed.
M.
Cornwall Park Cafe is one of my favourite local places to go. We have eaten here regularly since it opened, staff are always friendly and the food is consistently great. They are very happy to rearrange a dish if possible to be gf, paleo, etc. Very pretty surroundings and our dog loves it too.
M.
This is newly refurbished. Same shop where Rush Munro ice cream used to be. Had the Salted caramel ice cream....... delicious. My son has the Feijoa ice cream. It was excellent as well.
Price wise the kids cone was $3. It was enough ice cream for me!
Single scoop on a waffle cone is $5.
Friendly staff.
C.
Nice cafe in the park. Popular with families and dogs! 😍
J.
$10 for a very small serve of ‘Cornwall Park’ Pinot Gris - nasty, cheap wine. Rip off. Sausage Roll dry & served luke warm. Disappointing. Lovely lady who served us & very accomodating with smoothies changed recipe to suit my diabetic child. Yummy, freshly cooked hand cut potatoe fries. Next time, I’ll stick to a coffee....
T.
Great staff. Fast service. Picturesque surroundings. Hard to fault. Ideal for romantic picnic. Acres of land to explore and delve into Maori and Pakeha history. Splendid Cappachino..
T.
Quite busy on a Sunday morning.
Nice staff. Good food. Can sit inside or outside.
The port belly was not our favourite but the basil and agri rosti was nice.
E.
Didn't go in but what a setting. Looks busy which means good?
N.
Decent food at reasonable prices for this type of location. Gets busy.
T.
The staff were tired after a busy morning but we're still very friendly. Coffee was good and food was very good better than most cafe food
J.
Well organised for takeaways outside, either at kiosks or the till, plenty of trees to sit under and bring a blanket/use their beanbags, or eat in, from the menu or from the cabinet. Expensive for what you get, and two of our orders incorrectly delivered, summer staff should be better than that by now
M.
Beautiful location, which is the main thing going for this little cafe. Food is not the greatest though not bad. Prices are high. Outdoor seating accommodates dog and kid owners - kids can run around without much to get hurt on.
L.
Great coffee food is OK but setting makes it really pleasant. Very busy; the attentive staff manage that well
Y.
Awesome place specially if you have little kids. My favourite is the spicy pork belly!! Delicious!!
s.
nice food and a great place to go on a sunny day. Dog friendly!
H.
Auckland best place for BBQ every week. Placed in heart of city, you will experience slush greenery, walk paths and a never forgetablle place to escape the city for picnic. Has a lookout place to view the entire city 360 degrees.
C.
Great family environment. Unfortunately two options we tried to order weren't available. Not a lot of options for a pregnant woman who can't eat cabinet sandwiches or poached eggs.
N.
Food was OK, they get it out to you quite quickly considering how busy they are, how ever the food tasted like it was pre-made and just brought out to us which I'm OK with. But you can't have hard poached eggs on an eggs benidict now can you 🙄
A.
Awesome
A.
Great location to eat, coffee, relax with friends or family. Indoor/outdoor setting is fabulous
M.
A very pleasant atmosphere especially on a nice day. The food is of a high standard. I recommend the Wagu burger. Another good choice is the eggs benedict. What stopped me giving it a 5 star is the service can be a little slow
C.
Amazing service from the kind waitress who heated my baby's food perfectly, thank you!
L.
Very busy on a public holiday, but we were seated quickly and the food and coffee service was fantastic. Excellent coffee too, we had to order more to take away with us!
R.
The food is alright but do not think it is worth wait. Coffee times are slow as well.
G.
Always have an awesome experience at Cornwall Park Cafe. Staff are welcoming and friendly. They have great food and coffee and the service is quick.
Being in a beautiful backdrop of Cornwall park and having plenty of parking it is a great spot to go to.
A.
This Bistro has amazing food, good hygiene, great customer service, ample seating space. Perfect for breakfast, brunch or lunch after a good troll in the beautiful Cornwall Park.
B.
Service great menu and cabinet food looks good. I did feel bread and filo not as fresh as it should be. Will definitely go back.
M.
Afternoon walk then straight to the cafe for late lunch. Coffee, truffled mushrooms and something sweet. Great service as well as the food. Recommend this place 100%
H.
Great food selection! It gets busy on a nice day
A.
Busy cafe with seating inside or out including bean bags under the surrounding trees. Popular with mums and bubs and pet owners. Service is friendly. Good for stopping by whilst enjoying the park.
L.
Lovley peaceful café for a brunch/lunch with my daughter, food was scrumptious, staff delightful.. Will be my go to when I'm in Auckland from now on 🙂
D.
Very impressed with
Cornwall park cafe beautiful grounds / park

once we put in our breakfasts & coffee orders were served our meals with in 15 min of odering all with fresh hot Coffee
,#1 poached eggs on lightly toasted
sour bread were soft and runny as requested ,
2# salmon & poched eggs perfect ,
#3 Plus the fresh , canola breakfast cereal
with fresh fruit Very tasteful looking forward to going back
J.
Great food, great setting, not cheap but worth it.
P.
Had the grilled fish. Was excellent but quite small portions and quite expensive. Not great ambience where we were but this place was super busy so didnt get a great spot. To be honest even though the food was lovely, there are better ambience and cheaper prices elsewhere so donf think I will be going back
C.
Been there twice now, very organised and able to have great cabinet food as well as brunch/lunch menu.staff were excellent and an icecream stand for casual passing through parents and children.
N.
Nice food and great staff
Ö.
Food was delicious, place is awesome for kids to play around while you are enjoying your meal. But service and cabinet food should improve.
G.
Obviously a great cafe or so many people wouldn't want to be there. Lovely views of Auckland. Great ambience over the whole area.
L.
One of my favourite places in Auckland!
K.
Unique location, good food and friendly staff. Perfect place for families and brunch dates.
A.
Beautiful as.
A.
Great outlook into the park. Some items were not available due to a busy day.
J.
Lovely environment and great food.
T.
Used take away. Vegetarian roll pricey, well prepared but pretty basic ingredients.
U.
Excellent place to grab a hot chocolate/cuppa after hard work (park run)! Go get it guys ! You deserve it! Haha
R.
Awesome experience, even though food was not warm enough.
R.
A lovely place to sit, chat, enjoy a drink.
C.
Poppy seed lemon loaf and rocky Road with a flat white as our afternoon tea there. Kid loved doing colouring, while the adult enjoyed a short-lived serenity. Beautiful surroundings, friendly staff, nice and clean bathrooms.
P.
Always a pleasure to visit & enjoy the impeccable service, views & coffee
H.
Excellent. The staff are awesome...one was a little grumpy because we moved seats a couple of times....mainly to allow bigger groups and mum's with prams to sit there....but it was very busy....no need to be grumpy.
C.
Public space eateries are often stuck in a previous decade. Not this one. One of the best flat whites in Auckland, with equally good breakfasts too. Every time.
L.
Great coffee, great food, great friendly and attentive staff, and an amazing venue, always a pleasure 😁
S.
Cosy and quiet place sometimes busy, great food but a bit pricey. But serves food from sandwiches to coffee. A must go place if you are in the park.
V.
Nice place, good coffee. Amazing park to explorer.
J.
Nice cafe in a good area. It may get busy on a sunny weekend, but staff are very efficient in managing the crowd.
B.
A superb environment with good coffee and and beautiful Eggs Benedict. Attracts big crowds but well organized so it's fun and entertaining in it own right.
B.
Cafe food was yum. Only had a pie. Great open and beautiful area around it. Nice views. Lots of green space for everyone.
L.
Great coffee and delicious, good sized scone. Great place for a weekend treat or midweek pick me up :)
D.
I feel like portion sizes have gotten a lot smaller for the same price, it's still good food but $15 pancakes was pretty small.
B.
Excellent service. Great food that changes with the seasons. Coffee is good. A nice cafe in a great location that isn't too loud or claustrophobic.
Y.
Really nice place for meetings and just chilling in the morning. Nice and happening with all kinds of people. Beautiful location. A nice getaway from the city within the city.
J.
Awesome taste of food. Due to popularity it is usually busy all the time, so it deserves some complaints against waits in return for its quality.
Parking can be a bit of twist.
A.
I'm ready good setting with both indoor and outdoor options good food very friendly staff great place to go on a good day views of the city
J.
Standard cafe fare. Don't like how they use disposable cups from 4pm onwards, not very environmentally friendly. I did request a china cup, which the manager did comply with.
R.
Relaxing and peaceful spot. Beautiful surroundings. Indoor and outdoor seating and beanbags do you can sit on the grass too.
J.
Spontaneous lunch very nice. Enjoyed the fresh air.
K.
Unique location, good food and friendly staff. Perfect place for families and brunch dates.
P.
Fresh air, sun and wide open green vistas. Wonderful coffee and views. Tip -walk in from the Maungakiekie Road entrance and pat the friendly black cat on the way🐱
C.
Excellent food in a very busy Cafe
Pity they mucked up the order but it was a busy day
c.
My first time here.. It was steady, but service was efficient and meals came quickly. Overall everything was satisfactory.
K.
All good
H.
Beautiful location and good food. Service has left me feeling pretty unwelcome, as if I'm bothering them, every time I've been.
P.
Nice coffee and pastries, and nice location however I found it noisy making a conversation difficult.
N.
Every time we have lunch here we are always amazed by the staff and the food. We’ve been going to the cafe for years and have never been disappointed.
H.
A very busy place. The maitre'd was excellent in approaching me straight away to take and order for the kids. Service was good considering the crowds.
A.
They used to have great smoothies but now all their flavours are kinda weird. Still a nice cafe though.
c.
Enjoyed the coffee. Food was good. Felt there could have been slightly different breakfast options.
L.
A nice place for a break! And really good coffee made by Phoebe!!
S.
Long waits with an average coffee. Staff are friendly which was a pleasant surprise considering how busy they were.
A.
Always an amazing time, the staff are friendly and pertinent and the food is top class

B.
Great venue, great service, great food, just simply great.
A.
Great location and food.
L.
Always the best place to be in summer
S.
Nice coffee and setting. Don't get mushroom and halloumi sandwich from cabinet as there is no halloumi in it apart from a couple of tiny grated pieces, disappointing!
E.
Great place to bring kids to have brunch. Nice food and service however often very busy so need to wait for a while to be seated.
U.
Great weekend visit to relax
G.
Great service, great location👌
F.
Delicious food!! Excellent coffee and smoothies. Good selection of cakes and pastries. Needs more outdoor seating for the summer.
P.
Nice cafe but crazy busy. Not a place for a quiet bite or relaxed catchup. Loud noisy and hard to get a seat
M.
Highly recommend. Really good food and most importantly, great staff and really quick service. 10/10!!
M.
Wonderful service great coffe, very puppy friendly
G.
Nice location and good service. But quite busy every time.

Great coffee and atmosphere to catch up with friends. Make sure you give your friends the right location or else they might end up at the bistro instead.
I.
Good environment and good food.
C.
A lovely cafe, in a lovely setting. Well worth a visit when in Cornwall Park. Very dog friendly too!
J.
Food was great. Will be back. There were some unruly children so we left rather than get another coffee
M.
Great spot and relaxed atmosphere. Awesome selection of baked goodies :)
B.

Delicious coffee, great for kids
M.
Great place to have a coffee and a run around with the kids. Always busy at weekends.
D.
Very noisy ! Scones were delicious! Coffee mug was to thick to drink from !
D.
It was very nice and there was a takeaway cafe on wheels that had nice ice creams and milkshakes as well
G.
Not much to choose from unless you want dressing on it. Found it hard to find anything. Eggs were over cooked, chips not cooked enough poor service. Party of 5 and we won't be back.
A.
Good spot for a coffee!
A.
Good friendly fast service and lovely cuppochino's. What's there not to love about this place?
t.
Excellent food and service. A nice oasis for a drink or food break in the park.
B.
Great food at a reasonable price. Some lovely servers, some not so much.
m.
Pleasant staff, good variety of food. One of the best situations in Auckland. Disabled friendly
B.
Awesome setting. Take your coffee and eats and sit under the trees on the bean bags
R.
Decent, this is ante-natal group central, so of you go during the week be prepared for lots of babies. $3.50 lamingtons with cream though...
A.
Nice cafe, keeps nice and warm in winter and has good food and drinks!
D.
Nice lunch and a quiet beer with friends from Melbourne, cabinet food is good as is if the menu.
D.
Great setting, food excellent, service very good. Excellent overall experience. Will return sometime.
C.
Cute place up on one tree hill! Perfect place to take your dogs
A.
Great coffee and food is amazing, highly recommend
S.
Very busy but totally worth the wait. Food is good and as long as you get the right person the service is very good.
