Old review: Good service, good coffee and food. The decor needs refreshing with furniture coverings evidencing damage and staining. This is one of the few places in this downtown district that remain open over Xmas and New Year....minus the statutory holidays. It's the "go to" place during that time for food and drink. UPDATE 2020 review. Refreshed decor and seating. Now fresh and modern- much more inviting. Moved up a star.

Food fresh and service with a smile. Excellent selection and friendly atmosphere. I had bacon, scrambled eggs with mushroom and baked beans on toast and it was superb. Coffee was on point too. Will visit again.

Nothing special about this Esquires Cafe, half decent coffee but nothing to 'experience' here. Cabinet food and menu are good they undercut their neighbouring cafe prices a little for the meals and some coffee options too. Good loyalty program and they're open for much later than the others. Recommend if you're out of options but certainly not my first go-to cafe.

This cafe is fantastic for breakfast and lunch has a great variety of options. Fabulous food. The staff are super friendly, very welcoming and attentive. The food is very good, as a result I keep on coming back here and by the looks of it so do many others.

We ate here 3 times over a 24 hour period. Great baked goods and hot tea. Service was great even though they were busy. I would highly recommend to anyone in need of a quick bite in the area.

ordered the egg and bacon tramezzino (not sure why its called this as it wasn't a tramezzino) but it was SO good! as was coffee :) want to get it next time i'm in Auckland yummy big and didn't cost much.. counter food all the way for breakfast

Around NZ $ 8 for a serving of pasta is cheap for Auckland. The ambience was also right. The location is about 5-10 minutes outside the city center. (Original) Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmen. Man wird sehr nett bedient und es geht schnell. Man kann drinnen und draußen sitzen. Es gibt Getränke und kleine Speisen. Etwa 8 NZ$ für eine Portion Nudeln ist für Auckland günstig. Das Ambiente hat auch gepasst. Die Lage ist etwa 5-10 Minuten außerhalb der Innenstadt.
