M. G.Very popular busy spot. Lovely fresh food, pies where tasty 😊. Prices mid range but we where happy to pay for the quality we got. Coffee not the best we've had though, that could be improved.
B. T.I had a good coffee and a delicious eggs bene here. There was a very generous portion of bacon which was perfectly cooked. The egg was also perfect. (I chose the small portion option. Sorry about the sideways photo!)
B. J.One of the best cafes in howick. Great food and great service. Strongly recommend the bacon & mushroom spaghetti for a main then a raspberry white chocolate muffin as a dessert.

M. v. w.Went there this morning for breakfast with my best friend and i knew they had good food but oh boy was I understating them! I had Salmon eggs Benedict and my friend had a premium beef burger. I cannot even begin to tell you how perfectly cooked my eggs were, it was an experience i never want to forget. The salmon was smoked and fresh, the bread it was served on was a ciabata bread that had been toatsed in a pan with some butter and it was so nice and crispy, HIGHLY recommend coming here for breakfast or lunch, they have great options, though i did try their gluten free bread a while ago, didn't like the texture though, but still tasty nonetheless. This place is definitely going to be my new favourite hang out spot.
L. R. C. (.Great. $16 ham and mozzarella omelet that I had trouble finishing cause it was so big. Wash it down with a mocha. As I was waiting to order the fresh muffins came out of the oven so I couldn't resist.
B. U.It was fairly full and hectic when we walked in but managed to get a table. There are menus on the table in plastic holders (as well as behind the counter on the blackboards) and once you've decided you go up to order and bring back a number.
Quite a few choices on the menu as well as the choices in the cabinets.
I thought that the decor was quite nice and the food fairly good.

R.Very good coffee but as they don't have mugs which I find keeps the coffee hot longer than the big bowls we had ours in takeaway cups. Lovely stuff and nice and friendly which always adds to the enjoyment of visiting a Cafe, plus clean and tidy quickly as people leave which is great training and attitude. The apple slice was extra yummy, they have lots of selection in the front cabinets plus a great menu and huge range of drinks, very family and kids friendly.

G. S.A good choice of food. I had spaghetti with mushrooms and it was wholemeal spaghetti. There were plenty of mushrooms and it was not salty or greasy. You can have just a small serving for $7 and it was a good size for lunch.
It would be good to have more of this type of food as many people don't want pastry type food.
Plenty of tables and fairly quick service even though it was very busy.
A light and open space right in the middle of Howick.
The coffee was a little bitter which suggests better cleaning out of the machine is needed.

L. K.Friendly service, heaps of food to choose from. The staff were cleaning some of the chairs which was nice to see. Our table was wiped down, that doesn't seem to happen much now days. Tables are cleared but nothing else is done. Will be back.

Lil bit pricey but for the value of the food its well worth it.
They even leave out today's paper for a bit of nosey.
This is definitely an improvement from that rubbish super hero "Hancock". Better to come here and eat instead

i.i came from romania and me and my family thought to go out and have breakfeast. We went lived in a hotel around ho wick and i thought to have breakfeat her. The smoothies were amazing and the breakfast we had was nice. The 14 year old kid did nice service and was suprsied that a kid can do service

J. M.It's a really lovely place, food is good, slightly pricey but worth it, atmosphere is great, staff are friendly and helpful. As with any business when it's super busy, things can get hectic, this place does get really busy over the Weekend. But I regularly have do have breakfast here
T. N.If you enjoy the bustle and busyness of coffee houses you will find yourself at home in Hancocks Howick. Plenty of people for company and the staff are attentive to special requirements in your coffee order. A fine selection of food too. Allow a little extra time when busy so unless you are a coffee to go type you may need to chill out for delivery to your table. Don't worry if you are not allowed coffee for dietary reasons because they also offer tea and a selection of other beverages.

C. P.This is a pleasant cafe. I am unsure as to why it took so long for it to get onto Google maps. The atmosphere is relaxed and family friendly and is great for a relaxed lunch or dinner with friends. The service is very friendly and their beverages (hot and cold) are very nice. I had the salmon eggs Benedict which I found to be quite nice except that my eggs were slightly undercooked (which is a lot better than overcooked so I'm not complaining so much as noting) and the bread was somewhat over buttered. Since it was my first dish I have withheld the fifth star but I am sure when I visit the next time I'll probably leave ready to give it a five.
