Staff was incredibly friendly and efficient! Was on to it with checking our vaccine passes and serving us right away. Food was beautiful and fresh, will definitely be coming here more on the regular!

OMG best breakfast in Auckland, perhaps in NZ! Seriously you will not be disappointed. A variety of coffees to try out, from dripping to expresso! We came for waffles, but they have updated the menu and there's no waffles now. We ordered french toast with bacon and wow it was amazing! The expresso coffee as well was marvelous! My wife only drinks oat milk and ppl normally burn the milk while they are making the coffee, but this place nailed! We were received with smile of the most friendly staff who made us feel soo welcomed 😊 definitely coming back!

yummy coffees and the ham and cheese toasties is a must soo cheesy love how crunchy and chewy the bread are the ham and cheese are on point sooo yummm

Came here for brunch and it can get busy. Food wasn’t bad but the price was not really worth it. The decor and atmosphere is open and simple which probably attracts the customers. Staffs were nice-ish.

I have had delicious, wholesome and healthy light meals here. The turmeric mayo poached chicken sandwich on light sourdough rye is delicious. The house-made granola served with honey, coyo, coulis, poached pear, berries and mint leaves - also delicious. The space is airy and light, making for a relaxed, enjoyable cafe.

We’ll spaced tables, and excellent food. I had a delicious bacon and egg croissant with my favourite Runny Yolk all on a hash brown and also tomato and lettuce made me imagine I was being heathier than I was

Very nice BLT and the coffee was up to scratch. Pleasant young woman waiting and they checked my vaccine pass. Good. I virtually never give anywhere 5 stars.

Always loved Hēmi since the opening. And I am glad to see how it's strongly holding. The vibes are always positive and happy and I can see how the staff is working hard to follow the covid restrictions. So I cannot understand how people can complain if they are not being served or if they are asked to wait outside when they fail to show their vaccine passport 🤔 Very easy and simple: NO VACCINE PASS NOT ENTERING THE PREMISES But I guess some people prefer to play victims instead of accepting the rules. My personal opinion is: GREAT JOB GUYS YOU ARE WORKING HARD AND YOU ARE DOING IT RIGHT. Kia Kaha✌🏽

I came here for brunch with my best friend who I’d not seen for 9 months and I will most definitely be going back! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcome. The QR code for the NZ COVID Tracer app was displayed in multiple places that were easy to access including the door and the counter. The vibe is very “natural” focused. The table we sat at was clearly hand crafted and absolutely beautiful. Menu Items ordered VEGE PATCH ($16) - Kale, Silverbeet, Spinach, Broccoli, Avocado with poached egg (2) on kumara hash. [This option is GF, DF and Refined Sugar Free] WHITE COFFEE, LARGE w/ Trim Milk ($5.50) CACAO & BANANA WAFFLE ($16.50) - served with roasted feijoa and Nashi pear, tahini caramel, coconut. [This option is GF, DF, Refined Sugar Free, VEG]. OTAIKA EGG (any style) ($4.00) w/ Kumara Sourdough ($3.00) MATCHA LATTE ($6.00) x 2 w/ Soy Milk ($1.00 per cup). My friend and I loved our food and the coffee was very palatable. She adds when asked that the density of the waffle goes well with the acidity of the compote. If you’re looking for an eatery with a focus on simple, seasonal, healthy food Hemi is the place to go.

love this stylish and refreshing place, and their menu was interesting, heaps of addons and lunch plates. I had mince on toast, coming in a gaint portion and only cost me $16, and it tasted great. The other plate cost about $14. Would love to try their lunch menu next time. the only thing is that one of their staff seems a bit unhappy when serving us. Not sure what happened to her.

Currently my favourite cafe. Not only the food was good and healthy also the ambience and service. Fall in love with the clean and minimal decorations. For orders, we had the brassicas with pesto sauce and adds-on chicken breast, waffle and matcha latte. The reason I love Hemi is you can personalise your dishes by adding any proteins or carbs that you want. Staff were super friendly and accommodating.

Fantastic spot; tasty, great food at such a reasonable price! Simple clean aesthetic inside with lovely staff. Highly recommend for lunch. We got the mushroom on toast & a pumpkin gnocchi special. Both incredible

Was a very interesting and vibrant cafe. Good salad choices and very appetising breakfast options. Coffee was amazing worth trying the dirty chai!

I never write reviews online. BUT I am making an exception for Hēmi, because it has become a part of our local community and the staff have welcomed us into their cafe family. They legitimately look after my child sometimes so that I get 5 minutes to enjoy my coffee in peace. I feel obliged to share how wonderful the service, food and coffee is every single time we come (which is almost every day!). The best.

Consistently beautiful, bright and quality fare is churned out of Hemi's kitchen. Highly recommend this spot for a healthy meal in Victoria Park Market.

The perfect Cafe. The self proclaimed eatery sports beautiful decor, excellent cutlery and glassware, well designed menus, and delicious food, all from a prime spot next to the gorgeous Victoria Park. I must also say that they’re prices are fair, and even competitive. They do offer all day breakfast, but the local and furnishings work as a great eating and meeting place for all times of the day. I could come here with a laptop to get work done, bring my SO for a date, or get some after work bev’s with the colleagues, a feat most coffee houses can’t pull off. My lunch waffle was delicious, with a more than generous helping of fresh berries. Coffees I’ve had here before have been great, and I commend their choice of Supreme Coffee beans.

Pretty good coffee in here. Probably the best almond flat white I've had in years. I don't know what brand or almond milk they use but they got it right. I nearly melted when I first tasted it, then became a coffee addict for the week 😁

Spacious and stylish with delicious food. Never have I been so excited to tuck into a salad! Even the side of tofu was presented beautifully. For what comes out, you would expect to pay way more. Very reasonably priced and great options for vegans too.

Very healthy and very tasty. The brassicas dish is the best lunch.

Yeah so went for a early gym sesh this morning (first time ever) and decided to go to Hemi for some eggs and a coffee but we got there to early and they weren't open yet, it was cold AF. While we were waiting out side in the cold one of the employees (strapping young buck) asked if we would like to come in. We jumped at the thought of getting out of the cold and proceeded to help set up the tables for the day. Unbeknownst to us the brother decided he would make us some coffee's to warm us up(keep in mind they haven't even open yet). We sat down for breaky and the food was out the gate, one of the boys had the mince on toast and me oh my was it a nawty boy. Anyway this place is great the people are great and you should go there.

Consistant high quality fresh food. Not cheap but best cafe in area. Has a great variety of healthy options if your into that thing. Recommended

Lovely staff, great food, great coffee, beautiful interior and at a good location on the edge if victoria park markets. Hemi really Is as good as a cafe can get!
