Great place to stop and grab a bite to eat. Food is super fresh with great quality ingredients. Tuna poke bowl was amazing, so was the fried chicken burger.

I like coming here when I want to eat something healthy yet delicious. They are famous for their Hawaiian style poke bowl but have recently added burgers to their menu. If you’re coming here for the poke bowl, I strongly suggest the BBQ beef as the protein of choice. Super delish!! The popular sauces are sesame dressing and chili mayo but I like the wasabi mayo best! Did I also mention that they allow you to do half and half? So you can do half beef and half tuna, which is what I did. One feedback I have is that the tuna can be better quality but otherwise, everything is good! Even the coffees. Will be visiting again soon!

I feel so happy to find this hidden spot, the poke bowl is so tasty and fresh, the add on tofu is crispy and yummy. Thanks so much for the free miso soup also! Highly recommended to all!

We came back after 2weeks ago, we tried here for the first time. Really recommended healthy food with a very tasty food! First time we came here we ordered salmon one and tofu one. Its really good then we comeback for second time and tried the new menu spicy pork (really good!) And have caramel chicken. Experience good food !

I have driven past this place several times as they are just off the busy Mt Albert Rd. I decided to try it as I love poke bowls. It is clean, lovely seating area including a sofa. The staff were lovely..and the poke bowl (I had the caramel chicken), was so delicious. If you like poke bowls, then give these guys a go - I will definitely be going back for more :)

I've eaten here a couple of times and I love this place! Get the large size poke bowl. It is so worth it. Lots of protein and comes with avocado! Also, you can choose between brown rice or white rice. Their chicken and beef option is also very yummy! Great flavors and you can also get coffee here! The people are very lovely 😍 Looking forward to coming here more often! This place needs more recognitions for sure!

Definitely one of my treasure place. I love the Tofu bowl + sesame dressing & chill Mayo, it tastes fresh especially when you have it in the morning. Salmon bowl is also good. Plus their staff is very friendly and humble! All those elements make the high score.

First time trying poke and this cafe on recommendations of a friend and boy did it not disappoint! Ben and Sarah have nothing shy of welcoming demeanour which is something I personally really appreciate. The cafe is clean, well spaced out for its size and is dressed in nice relaxing colours. It even has a couch ???!! Hello comfort! The food was tasty and fresh, the flavours married well together and nothing felt excessive. Serving sizes are appropriate and presentation is aesthetic. I went on Sarah’s recommendation of the salmon medium bowl with siracha and sesame dressing. 5/5 for the taste and 5/5 for the service. Good vibes all round and I’ll be a returning customer for sure :)

Seen this place pop up as recommended on google maps, and I can see why. Really good food. Will definitely be back again anytime I’m in the area. Fully deserves its rating. I got the Caramel Chicken which was really good, perfectly cooked and comes with a nice mixture of salad and veg. Good selection of sauces too. Inside it’s fresh and modern and well decorated, extremely clean. Good selection of drinks in the fridge as well.

Great poke, fish tasted fresh and was great combination of greens and vegetables in the salad. The sauces were very nice touch as well and served in a good portion. Picture is salmon and tuna poke in a medium bowl.

So good. Super fresh and very generous with poke toppings. Salmon and caramel chicken are both delicious. Choice of lots of diff types of mayonnaise makes it even better. Coffee is extremely good and both the Nutella hot chocolate and iced choc are probably the best I've had in Auckland..

Upon my first visit at Honolulu Lulu Cafe I was greeted with both a welcoming smile and a friendly hello. Quaint little cafe that offers a mighty punch with their carefully crafted Poke bowls. I tried the Caramel Chicken Poke bowl and loved it. Hubby tried the Mt Cook Alpine Salmon Poke Bowl. Equally delicious! If you're looking for a bowl of fresh ingredients that holds well balanced flavours and textures then Honolulu Lulu Cafe is a worth a visit.

I absolutely loooove this place. I come here all the time just to get the salmon poke. Its definitely a must and I highly recommend you try it. Service is always amazing. I love the team here. They also make GREAT coffee. 😍

Wow. This was unexpected. The poke was so delicious. I had the tuna poke bowl - the flavours worked so well together. The quality of ingredients was so high! Great amount of care went in to prepare the food, I highly recommend and will be coming back to try more. Only off street parking around the place so you might not be able to park right outside, but it's worth it! Plenty of space for small or larger groups. Staff are so friendly!

Tried this for the first time today and was really impressed. I had the bulgogi beef and my partner had the salmon. Both were fantastic. Staff are really welcoming and the space is great. I'd even just stop in for a drink on the couch. The staff are happy to customise the bowl to your tastes. Will be back.

After passing this place several times, I decided to get a take away coffee at this new cafe, and it was great ! The decor of the cafe is very well balanced and modern, really friendly staff, and most of all, the coffee was really good ! Highly recommended if you want a good coffee.

What a great start for this new establishment. Visited with the girls today and enjoyed the dining experience the moment we walked in. Staff are super friendly and the food is simply WOW! Our first experience trying Poke’ dishes and we weren’t disappointed. Ordered from Uber eats last year in the evening. Very disappointed to see the tiny portion of raw fish and frozen vegetables on a very sparingly plated rice. I'm not a massive eater at all but even for me this was steep pricing for the amount of food. Secondly this shortly gave me,very my partner including, bad diarrhoea and nausea. This could only be attributed to the meal as it was the only thing we had in 6 hrs. That was our first and last experience. I gave it a 3 Star s in hopes that it was simply an isolated experience.
