Delighted and surprise to find this place. The place has a big upstairs area with plenty of space and seats. Beautifully decorated too with good ambience. Food was nice and portion was very good although playing can be improved.

Great location and very good vibes. Granola breakfast was top notch. The gorgeous girl that served me was super friendly and polite. Great service. Upstairs is very big with beautiful decor and overall relaxed atmosphere. It's a shame that they close early. I wish they'd open till late. I'll come back again 😊

Spacious and cozy - perfect cafe if you want to work away from home for a bit. They have outside seating if you have your pet with you but can get quite windy and table outside are a little wobbly. The food was amazing though, one of my go to cafe near home

I would not recommend this place to one who is after an exceptional cuisine. But this is one of the nicest places in the city for work, study, and having a business meeting. The layout is convenient, the space is ambient, and the staff is welcoming. And clearly you can have some beverage and a bit when you get hungry.

Surprisingly spacious place upstairs with big tables, kids space and armchairs. Food was okay… pictured is the french toast which is $21 without the bananas, which I think is overpriced for what is is

I’ve been to ipress for lunch on two occasions, most recently with my family for a birthday lunch. The food is absolutely delicious and we were very well taken care of by the staff. We especially enjoyed the creative decorations and the plants scattered around. Beautiful!

A bit of a hidden gem in Mt Eden. Consistent quality coffee and the most divine date and orange scones. The date jam is moreish. Friendly staff. Very roomy inside and tables outside on the pavement. Free sparkling water, too.

Not a very high standard of coffee or presentation - my drink arrived already spilled, not appetising at all. Lots of seating to choose from upstairs, including some nice quieter zones. Patio could do with a bit of love, dead plants are a bit depressing. The outdoor space could be so lovely!

Beautiful and delicious food. The scorch fillet was cooked perfectly. The Benedict was beautiful too and the cold press juices are very very tasty too! Very healthy as well!!! Corner location center of Mt Eden and lots of free parking in the area. Very friendly service. Be sure to check out upstairs as well! Very cozy and well designed. The service is usually friendly and the meals are filling but I notice after a while you’re on your laptop, the waitresses are staring at you like they want you to leave. I would’ve loved to make this my go-to place but the stares are so uncomfortable.

Great cafe in Mt Eden. The coffee was great and the food was excellent. Ordered 2 juices to go and they were delicious as well. The cafe itself is also very spacious with two floors and a really lovely aesthetic. Would recommend!

It's so rare to find a cafe with free wifi that's open late! That alone would be good enough, but I also think the general ambience and soft instrumental music upstairs make this an ideal spot to do work/read at, which is what I'm mostly here for. It is also a pretty good place to meet people and recently I had a meeting and ordered a couple snacks. The chicken strips were great but the loaded chips were a bit too cheesy for my liking :) haven't really tried anything else, but I'd be willing to.

Good food and good coffee. There's also ample seating space upstair. There is a time limit for the breakfast and lunch menu, but if you come at around 12pm, you can order dishes from both menus.

Despite being a bit busy - tables not cleared - One of the best cafe's we've been to , so far. Food tasted great and large upstairs setting.

IPress is a food and beverage cafe that is located in the heart of Mt Eden Village. They provide wireless fidelity internet both ground level and upstairs. The cafe parameter is known to be spacious - especially upstairs. I am a Latte regular and I have to say I have one free coffee for every 6 coffee purchased. I tried the Pork spare rib for $24.90 - it made my day. Best deal compared to any cafe in the village. I recommend any coffee fan to try their coffee..

Stopped for coffee during our Sunday morning walk. Nice place, was a bit quiet. Service was ok, but could be friendlier. Coffee and croissants were delicious. Location is great and central so you get a vibe for the heart of Mount Eden. Would recommend.

A nice place to eat. We sat upstairs. Nicely appointed and comfortable :) my food needed a little bit more flavour. The service was fantastic and our welcome was warm.

I come here all the time! If you need a quite study space this little homely Cafe is the place for you. The staff have always been friendly, and the coffee is 👍🏼

Ipress is one of the best cafe's I've had the pleasure of going to. The service is great, and I'd definitely recommend sitting on the 2nd level of the premise, as the view just gives you that old-fashioned vibe. The retro and old fashioned decoration just adds so much more to it. Let's talk about the price. Cafe food usually can be quite pricey, and it really has to blow me away to be worth it. I can definitely say that the food definitely did just that. We went for the iPress complete as well as the french toast. Both beautiful and filling dishes, that definitely give you what you pay for. Coffee and iced drinks are just as good. All in all, a really satisfying experience. I would definitely come here more often, if only I had been more local.

Friendly service, delicious food and coffee. We ordered the bagel with cream cheese and jam, and the scrambled eggs on toast. Eggs are BEAUTIFULLY scrambled.

Nice café, enjoyed the French door flow. Staff were friendly, aside from girl who didn't know what cibata was. Food was enjoyable however took a while considering the restaurant wasn't busy (30+ mins for bacon and eggs). Coffee was average. I wasn't impressed by the 15% surcharge, it's cheeky imo considering we're already paying to dine at your restaurant and you were understaffed, or just very slow. It's just another way to get more cash out of customers.

What a lovely spot for brunch! The food was absolutely delish and worth the money. The decor inside is really cool and there is both downstairs and upstairs seating with a view of Maungawhau. The service was really quick. Will definitely be going back. 10/10 would recommend.

Love this place! Before lockdown used to enjoy spending an arvo reading, writing or catching up with friends upstairs. During lockdown staff have been great, nice and friendly and even gave away free hand sanitiser bottles. Recommend

Really cool vibes, music and decor. Coffee is great (that’s coming from a Melbournian!), and the falafel salad was delicious. Great service, fairly quick but there would be a bit of a wait if it’s busy.

I had missed breakfast and was desperate for food. Newly opened iPress was at hand and so I gave it a try, ordering a big breakfast with coffee and fresh oj. It was great!

Convenient location, good choice of seating some with power available. Nice coffee and grab a muffin to go with it 👍 Sparkling water available to balance out that coffee. The fresh juice options cover most bases.

We are constantly looking for a great cafe with excellent food over and above service. As long as the coffee and food satisfies, we are happy. At 'I Press' in Mt Eden, its beautiful food, excellent coffee and a stunning environment with delighted and kind staff. We eat out a lot and there's now only 2 cafes and one restaurant that we frequent. This is now one of them. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

I love this coffee shop. They have excellent, strong coffee. The owner is really nice and the staff is always pleasant. They also have the best pancakes and French Toast in Auckland! The interior design is beautiful and it’s such a classic, calming and relaxing place to pop in for lunch. I highly recommend.

This place is exactly what I look for in a cafe! Good range of food, lots of room with several corners for meeting up with people, reading a book or tapping the keys. It feels like you're in the bustle of Mt Eden, but plenty of space and fresh air. Coffee was good, it has Wifi and some decent open hours!

Delightful eye catching decor very pleasant polite service Great tables upstairs plenty of room between tables. Lift available for elderly or prams/kids. Tasty counter food extensive menu. Clean tidy minimal noise from kitchen spring water on tap really appreciated lovely to sit at window upstairs and people watch down at the village..great for big group large room at rear upstairs which I think you can book but do check that.

I would recommend coming here. I quite enjoyed the food they had to offer, it was delicious and prepared in a short amount of time. The shop is very aesthetically pleasing too and the price wasn’t too crazy. However, I don’t recommend their peach tea as it tasted extremely bitter and more like medicine.

Went to this cafe a couple of years ago, haven't been since as they stopped opening in the evening.. Discovered that they are now open in the evening, we live about 20kms away, but it was well worth the journey. The guy at the counter was very pleasant. The cakes and slices were delicious, and the drinks were very good. I needed to go to the bathroom, but the stairs were quite steep as we were leaving discovered that there is a lift, which I will use next time, which won't be too far away

I really like their coffee and the food they serve from their menu is delicious. I had the home made peanut butter granola with lashings of fruit. Perfect. I cold press juices at home so I have not as yet taken them up on their juices. I get the impression that their juices are superb.

This is a little undiscovered gem in Mt Eden. Whereas the other coffee places can be full, this is a great place to meet and always get a table. It has a spacious upstairs and lovely relaxed downstairs. Nice food and good coffee. It's my new favourite place for meetings.

I-press has a great relaxing atmosphere for unwinding from busy city lift, with plenty of spacious seating areas up stairs and downstairs. Staff are friendly and very polite. And my Chai latte was delicious and so great to see vegan options in the food cabinet. If I could recommend one thing it would be to bring even more vegan food to the menu for a truely awesome experience. :)

I love this place! Such a great spot for working remotely and/or studying. The staff are so friendly and do not rush those who come to work - luckily there is plenty of room :) Oh...and amazing coffee!

I like the atmosphere here, also they serve you free sparkling water as much as you want. Only criticsm is that, in my opinion. They need to have better coffee (beans) brand, Altura or Altezano brothers could be better choice then currently they have.

I first fell in love with I press cafe Several years ago. I must say however, the recent changes in the cafe space has created a beautiful atmosphere like never before. I really appreciate the creative and spacious feel the space has now. Along with the changes of in the cafe space has come the most delicious food. Every Saturday I come and have the same thing I love it so much. When I go out for my breakfast on a Saturday it is a treat and with the staff here being so friendly I always feel I can relax in good hands. Keep it up Ipress Mt Eden needs you 😊👏🏻😊

This place is always right :) I go here very often for various reasons - wifi, late evening meetings, casual environment and so on. Staffs are very friendly and kind and of course their food are yum. Try salted caramel chocolate slice (not sure with the name but it has 'salted caramel' in the name) which was the best one ever!

The lady I am assuming is the manager was extremely friendly and polite (something that I think a fair number of food places in mt Eden are lacking). Coffee was pretty tasty aswell. Had the egg in toast with dukha. Was tasty but I think there could be more butter with the thickness of the toast.

Good food and coffee. The real reason this place gets 5 stars though is because it is the perfect place if you want to do remote work. They have excellent free WiFi and plugs under most tables upstairs and the staff are friendly.

Generally its very good all round. Food. friendly service and venue. I would give it 5 stars except one female Asian waitress was full of attitude until I put her in her place. I still go there at least twice a week even though it's a bit out of my way.

Meals and Coffees are not bad. However, teas are not up to standard, especially English Breakfast tea.

This Cafe has a post modern swag with Kiwiana sprinkled in great taste and good measure too. A number of themed areas and an upstairs outdoor space to chill overlooking a park in Mt. Eden go out of the way to create and engaging yet relaxing atmosphere for patrons. The coffee is punchy and full of flavour - best enjoyed as an espresso shot with a selection of pastry slices to balance the pallete. Would I visit again? Unequivocally, YES! A hidden treasure in Mt. Eden, go visit and make it your local before the rest of Auckland finds out ;)

Public holiday so charged surcharge but took 25 min to get coffee which was nice. Needed more staff on as slow service and dishes piled up on tables. Date scones dry and not edible.Kind man gave me my money back for 2 scones.

Went for dinner last night and the meals were huge for only $19 ! Had the Falafel and my friend had the Halloumi tacos. Live how vegetarian and vegan friendly they are! Lots of options to choose from. Defenitely will be going back for dinner a lot.

The coffee is really nice. I like going there during the week. But on the weekends it is really busy I ordered Eggs Benedict and the food was really cold and the bread was soggy unlike during the week !

Ipress's staff are courteous and friendly. There is a good selection of food and drink. The front upstairs area is large and echoey, it can get noisy quickly as there is nothing soft to absorb sounds.

We love iPress Mt Eden, we visit at least once a week for breakfast or lunch or even just a fresh juice. Staff are lovely and the food is yummy. Favourite dish is the pan fried mushrooms :)

Ipress is the (relatively) new kid on the block. Their main point of difference are their cold pressed juices which are freshly made there. They serve Vivace coffee which is great, and offer almond and coconut milk which gets them major brownie points. I've tried the cabinet food which is always fresh and tasty, and so far I've had the ipress Benny which is served on delicious crunchy hash browns. There are a bunch of other menu items on my 'to try' list. Friendly service.

I tried this place for the first time a few weeks ago and the cold pressed juice was very very good quality and the service from the manager Eduardo was unbeatable. The feel of the cafe is new fresh and would make me want to come back I would recommend to friends.
