We visited a as a group of 6 on a public holiday and were really impressed, free and close parking.. Great service and amazing food, good variety too. We had a 3 year old who was well looked after and even given a free hat! Will certainly be back, have found our new local ❤️

We have eaten here today and now we have some really big trouble with intestines and stomach. On a sultry evening. We have loose bowels. :( After conversation with the restaurant owner, I am changing the star rating from 1 to 3 as the owner wish to take a further action to investigate the matter. because this is summer time that Loose bowels are easy to catch if we are not careful about the food.Just please tell the chefs to be alert all the time. I am going to a holiday and I will back to Auckland on January and we will come to visit the restaurant again. The restaurant has really good location and close to our home. Thank you for your understanding and care which makes people feel better and be cared. Wish you and family have a great holiday! :)

We are regulars here and always sit outside with our dog. This place is 10 out of 10 on service, food,drinks and cleanliness. This time we ordered fries, squid, pulled pork burger, Peter rabbit Pizza and Kung Fu chicken. I must say the food was just awesome but the fries were the highlight of the evenning. Great cocktail menu and Asahi on tap to wash everything down after a hot summer day. We were served by three different people and all three were smiling and happy. Well done guys keep up the good work. Highly recommended specially if you are wanting to wind down with your family and pet.

Was shouted lunch but wasn't hungry instead had coffee and muffin. GREAT CHOICE for a Fussy coffee drinker. All double shots. Small Flat white with 1 sugar on bottom stirred. Served at about 52. Was awesome - could taste the beans. Ordered a second cup. Definitely going back.

First time having dinner here at the new location in Auckand. Only ever had breakfasts and coffee elsewhere. Happy to report dinner was great exactly what we expected. Service was fantastic we will be back!! Looking forward to trying coffee here soon!

Had dinner here recently for the first time and the food was amazing! We got the small chips and gravy, the beef burger, the big helga pizza and the sticky date pudding. The chips are delicious, could not get enough of that seasoning! Staff were friendly and the food came out sooner than expected. Great portions too, can’t wait to go back!

Wife had the ceaser salad and I had the chicken burger. Both good, met expectations, nice flavour, price was OK / as expected for the location. The aioli for the chips is very nice. I wish I could rate this 4.5 stars because it's not amazing but it's good. It's not pretentious, what you see is what you get, diner style food. Lots of parking is good

The front of house lady was so kind I took my elderly parents here for a change of scene and she went out of her way to make them comfortable. Lovely desert menu I recommend the chocolate brownie. Great service thank you

Excellent service and food. Breakfast and coffee was faultless. I suggest the Gorgeous George, especially if you like a good fried spud. They didn't mind us charging our laptops and phones while we had breakky which was greatly appreciated.

Bistro style, located at ground level in the grounds of Alexandra apartments off Greenlane Road. It's new, clean & comfortable with inside & outside dining. Food is great. Fine for family gatherings as well as couples or adult only groups

Love the service here! The waitresses are so polite and friendly, my friend and I dined here and we had such a enjoyable experience. We ordered a pizza and the crust was so crispy and delicious. Would definitely come and dine here again.

23/03/2022…… Visit the Joe's Garage (Alexandra Park) again as per requested by Mr. RICHARD. He apologized for the inconvenience happen on very first visit. Congratulations for Mr. RICHARD, that he investigates the problem and come with a very good solution. I can’t neglect the food. Very delicious and fabulous food served. After placing the order we wait for at least 30 mins, but unfortunately we didn’t get our food. When we ask the staff about our order she quickly run to the computer and what i see she add the order after 30 mins when we ask about it. It was really a disgusting experience. We had a appointment at at 9:30 am in the hospital that’s why we choose this cafe to have breakfast and as per doctor’s instructions we must have to eaten something before getting the scan. But thanks to this joe’s Garage who ruined everything. Other thing which we noticed the other customers whom place the order after us getting there food before us. This moment teach me a lesson, if you are going to hospital never get depend on the cafe’s. SPECIALLY ON JOE’S garage.

Amazing food! My son and I ordered the beef burger with chips. Burger wasn’t dried and was seasoned well as well as the chips. For dessert we ordered the Banana Split - Amazing had roasted almond slivers and was light. Chocolate Brownies - Warmed and not dry. Was delicious. Cheesecake - Not overly sweet and went really well with the berry compote. Amazing! I’ll be back! Plus its only been opened for 2 days

Joe's Alex Park is always good. JFC chicken and Autobahn are still winners. Tried a new menu item - Kung Fu Chicken (soy chicken,rice,slaw). If you're after a light option, it's really tasty - would definitely order again. 💯👏

Had dinner at Joe's last night. Staff were very attentive and friendly. The place was clean. Prices were very reasonable. We ordered the chicken burger, a small portion of chips and gravy, and a kid's beef burger. Very tasty and protions were large. We will definitely.come back to try the pizza and salad.

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and fun but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Wide variety of drink options never disappoints and the menu is a good size with great quality food. Highly recommend :)

First time here decided to try it with the family on a Sunday Evening. Greeted by a smiling, friendly waitress and told her i had pre booked. Taken into a childrens area with 4 kids running around playing, no drama whatsoever and made the night quite fun. We were offered if we wanted to move but we were happy to sray. Food lovely, service excellent and the long island ice teas great. Thank you we will be back.

Nice place. Great service. It was windy and cool where we sat so staff had the forethought to close some doors for us. We had some sharing plates. Chicken karage style, lamb ribs, cauliflower bites, calamari. All were delicious - like properly yum. We cleaned our plates. The Founders IPA was chilled to perfection. For dessert I had the chocolate brownie which unfortunately was more like chocolate cake which didn't rise. I would go back to try the rest of the menu though. Recommended.

Ordered the beef burger and its made from store bought patty and taste very average and priced high at $22. Hot pot pie was OK but too creamy. At least coffee was decent. Far better options in the area at more reasonable price so unlikely to go back.

Nice diner to visit for a change of scene. Menu is not too big, it does include pizzas and burgers. A good option is to get a few sides to share. Can recommend the cauliflower bites and salt & pepper squid. Only a few choices for Mains. Sweet menu has many nice options and their portion size is very generous, so leave some room if you enjoy a dessert. Staff are friendly and helpful. Parking available near diner.

Don’t know how this place could get bad reviews. Just visited with my family for my fathers birthday and we all LOVED the food. No lies. Great portions, tasty food, great service I don’t see how it could get any better. Food came promptly and was delicious. Flat bread was great for entree! I got the vege burger which I was worried about since sometimes it’s not nice but these cooks knew what they were doing because it was amazing! Seasoning on the chips was spot on. They also had some colouring paper and pens for the kids to entertain themselves, and they were super helpful with everything. We were so full by the end of our mains and so unable to have dessert but next time we visit we’ll be able to try more things on the menu and last till dessert. Thank you Joe’s Garage!

My wife and I went to Joe's garage in greenlane for dinner.Mainly due to my wife having food allergies as the menu allowed her to order of the Menu we thought unfortunately a mistake was made with her order . The staff were amazing in putting things to rights and getting something safe for her to eat. The rib eye steak I had was very good and cooked to perfection. What a lovely experience enhanced by the fact that we could take our German Shepherd with us, who by the way got special treatment. Sadly no poached or boiled egg, even sadder was the hard fried egg incapable of complementing the otherwise delicious Cesar Salad. The Rose' was delicious. We attended Armageddon over Labour Weekend as exhibitors. Joe's Garage was an Oasis for 3 days - the food was beyond excellent. The staff were totally welcoming and attentive - and went out of their way to accommodate us when in a rush. 10 meals later and we fell inin love with the entire team. My absolute favourite was the Caesar salad - unfortunately I am now addicted to this meal. Others in our family enjoyed the excellent and perfectly cooked steaks. They also serve up JFC gluten free chicken which blew everyone away with its deliciousnes - my wife who has coeliacs actually shed a year when tasting this delight - while we were allowed a taste she was very protective over her meal. A range of burgers were purchased as take out and they gave priority to the order knowing we had limited time. These were again perfect and tasty. Joe's Garage is on our list of best eateries. Finally I cannot compliment the entire team - they were simply lovely. Looking forward to seeing you all again on next visit to Auckland.
