Came here with my family and we thought it was a really cute place!! Has great retro vibes. We were greeted with a warm welcome and when we ordered, we received this cute polar bear as a table mark. Food was also very nice, although I wasn't too sure if they forgot to take off the baking paper... I did end up removing it myself. Overall fantastic nevertheless! We will definitely come back here :)

Gunther from friends??? That was my first impression when I came to Kao and was welcome by the manager. He's very friendly and, most of the time, a "hoot." Funny fella, that makes us so welcome while we were there. Though the kitchen is closed, we have coffee and cakes. I loved the carrot cake, one of the good ones I ever had. Overall, I love the ambience and theme of this place. What a great contrast to our last experience at Pukekohe. It is not only about the food but great service is essential, and Kao at Papakura had risen up on my list of places that I will definitely come again. Next time, it will be more than just coffee and cakes

Love the coffee best in Papakura! Food was good we had brunch and all were happy with what they received. Staff are very friendly. Maybe I'll choose another seat next time, was too close to the counter and very loud customers behind me. Love the concept.

Awesome place, great food amazing staff!!! I popped into Kaos because I started having a migraine and i needed to try and chill in a dark corner until I was able to see properly and the woman behind the counter took care of me and made sure I was ok the whole time .... Thank you again 😊

Soo yummy, hidden gem of Papakura. Don't drive past on Great South Road. Very yummy cabinet food and menu!! Highly recommend it from Karaka's alternatives.

Even during a lockdown they are out here supplying much needed cafe treats to the locals! The safety measures they have in place to keep themselves and the public safe are great! And it's an efficient and quick service! Delicious coffees, hot chocolates and the scones - let's just say one is enough but will keep you coming back for more!!

Best peppermint slice and caramel smoothie! Staff were so friendly. I highly recommend this place. 😁

Nice food, Quick whitty service, My kinda music Elvis Nat King Cole Queen. Calm settings. Gave us the horse after we ordered our food. Nice idea instead of giving us a table number....10+ 5 stars

Had brunch and coffee there yesterday, one of the best I've had. Cooked to perfection and the coffee much better than Starbucks. If you want great coffee and great food, this is the best place in Papakura. My new favorite 😁

Fabulous service, fantastic banter, great coffee and delicious food! I've been a supporter for over 6 years having visited Kaos in Pukekohe, Kaos on Queen in Waiuku and now Kaos in Kura LOVE it. Stop in, you won't regret it!

Yummy food, great atmosphere, awesome customer service

Absolutely delicious! Great staff and great food! Highly recommend the Corn fritters and Mushroom Blue Cheese Melt. Love the atmosphere of the 60s and 70s and can't wait to come back again soon 5/5

never dissappointed . chicken burger is amazing, egg bene amazing. coffee is consistantly good accross all if the kaos cafes. highly recomend caramel oatie slice. great service. see you soon

The staff are very friendly but not in-your-face. The vibe reminds me of the cool, casual cafés in Wellington city. I tried eggs benedict and enjoyed the hollandaise being slightly tangy rather than 'sweet'. They make a great chai latte so I will definitely return for something else on the menu or from the cabinet while in that part of town (across the road from Farmers).

Love Kaos in Pukekohe so was keen to give this new store a try with my friend up from Wellington. BOY WAS I NOT DISSAPOINTED! The store is such a vibe, the coffee and food was delicious and the staff create such a happy and upbeat environment. Can't wait to come back again soon! Thanks for a great meal!
