K.Lovely creamy chicken soup full of cooked chicken and mushrooms with 2 slices of home made garlic bread full of flavour. Then the chocolate cake! Not too sweet or rich and a surprise sour cream(?) icing. Delicious. Great coffee too.
R.Food was great and we had frappe ( green tea and chai) and also filo. Our baby as always was quite mischievous 🤩and she made a real mess there but the staff was really understanding. Thank you for Wonderful customer service ❣️
T.Very average, leaning on disappointing lunch. Mac n cheese was nuked in the microwave to the point where it was still bubbling 3 mins after we received it. Could almost hear it humming. Extremely oily and pretty much inedible as you reached the bottom. I could practically feel my arteries constricting as I ate every oily bite. Breakfast special was mushrooms, hash brown and two eggs for $10. I asked if it came with bread (I assumed so but just wanted to check) and the cashier said yes. When I received my meal, there was no bread on the plate. I requested some bread and the waitstaff happily toasted a couple of pieces of value brand white bread. The place just feels a bit dated and while the staff are pleasant, they don’t seem to be excited to be working.

F.Convenient location. Friendly staff. Not too expensive. The disappointment was that everything we ordered was so close to being really yum, but nothing actually was. Maybe we were unlucky on the day we visited.
J.You should never trust a reviewer profile with only 1 or 2 nastily unbalanced reviews. They are not real reviewers, and usually are fake profiles to mask their real names, keyboard nutjobs quite simply.
This place is good. Coffee is good, service is good, been in there many times over the years whether it's changed hands or not I don't know. I thought the afternoons are the best time to go when it's quietened down a bit. Definitely stop in if you are down on that level of the mall. A nice stop in after a afternoon of staring at things you don't want to buy and you need a recharge.
UPDATED Sep 2019 - Bit shady coffee & the press kai, disappointing I'd not been here in a while thought to drop in. Unfortunately downed to a 3 but I am hoping on next visit it's going back up again. Cheer up crew, yes afternoons after dealing with people all day is hard, but so too is shopping and one kind of expects a radiance of happiness for their dollar when stopping in for a refreshment & filler. Cheers.
PROS - Everything in front of you, hot food, sweets, coffee, cold drinks, has seating and easily accessible from the front doors.
CONS - The sun can cook you a bit in the afternoon, just move further down to the back if you don't like it.
J.$15 beef burger lunch with chips and cold drink or coffee, not a bad offer. The burger and chips are ok, but very basic. It took longer than expected for a lunch menu that you would imagine they can serve quickly.
The place is clean, indoor nice environment and they have an outdoor area.
G.Chipped plates, microwaved pies with undercooked pastry, iced chocolate that was mostly ice.

A.Simply loved delicious Cappuccino @ koffeebar ~ the taste, aroma, texture was smooth, balanced 🤎 accompanied by Tandoori Chkn pie 🥧🥰 authentic taste of its own kind👌🏼 the staff “Jo” managing all chores by herself was efficient, courteous and pleasing 😊 ✨🌟

V.This is my go to regular cafe spot in Albany and every time I come here the service is great and the food is pretty good too. I normally go for the cabinet food but today I tried the french toast with fruits and berry sauce. It was amazing! Highly recommended.

T.Properly good bene and if you don’t like the mocha you need to re evaluate your life decisions. Seating a bit average if you don’t like wooden things, else very little to complain about. Reasonably priced for a cafe in shopping centre type deal too.

P.So far been here twice, coffee was excellent, they offer them in large without resorting to using takeaway cups; their food is tasty, a good balance between affordable, tasty and not overly flashy in presentation.
For my liking, this place hits the spot, it's not trying to be more than what it is but it does a great job for what it is... mostly.
They reheat some of their pre-made options in the microwave, which degrades the quality of the food you're buying.
Yes heating with a panini press or oven may take longer, but the quality is far better, and due to this I'm lowering my 5/5 to a 4/5.
P.Very polite staff, got sitting next to kids play ground. Food and coffee was amazing. Egg bene for $16 not many places can beat the price with great quality food. Tick all the boxes.
H.It was just that - ok. Cakes were very average, coffee also average, artificial sweetener the most random ever. It should have been a lot better than it was. Ladies behind the counter were nice though. They made up for the cake disappointment.

J.Stoped by the Koffee bar recently and let me tell you the service here was so amazing, staff was very polite and friendly.The right place to stop by when you are in the area. Just a very blissful place to sip a warm cup of coffee and read or perfect place to catchup with friends.
T.Meh. The flat white tasted like a skinny decaf latte. Convenient and relatively quiet location if you're at the mall, away from the deafening chaos within. Also has seating next to a kids play area.

L.I ordered the chicken and mushroom filo from the cabinet and was disappointed when it was microwaved to heat it up, completely destroying the texture of the filo and turning it to rubber, not only that but they also served it with ketchup squiggles on the plate and as one who doesn't like ketchup, it was difficult to keep my food away from it while trying to saw through the rubber filo.
