Such a lovely place with excellent staff! Nicely service, thanks to Vita and Sandes:) Highly recommend iced latte and miso salmon. The place is really suited for having a brunch with friends, I will come back for next time!

Excellent customer service!!! The atmosphere here is cosy and very welcoming. Love the Tiramisu and Plum Custard soooooooo much! Worth to drive long way and have brunch here. Definitely worth to come back again, and again and again!!!

How did we not know about this place before?! Highly recommend their 𝑪𝒐𝒓𝒏 𝑭𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒔, one of the best ones we have ever tried! Crispy on the outside, do flavorful on the inside. The 𝑯𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒂 𝑪𝒉𝒊𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒏 𝑺𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒅 is also amazing! Can't get enough of the marinated tender chicken. They are so generous on the 𝑨𝒗𝒐 𝒐𝒏 𝑻𝒐𝒂𝒔𝒕, love that there is loads of greens. I don't usually like omelette, but their 𝑭𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒊 𝑶𝒎𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒆 is actually so yummy. Definitely check them out when you are over at Devonport.

Friendliest, most attentive staff. Took a Polaroid of our dog for their doggie wall! Let our toddler take home the wooden fire truck toy he was so keen on. Food & coffee was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to go back

This place is a hidden gem in Devonport. Very friendly staff and definitely a family and pet friendly cafe. They have a beautiful garden out there. We are super impressed with the food and coffee. This is a must go in Devonport. Highly recommended!!!

Very wonderful place for a relax weekend breakfast! We went to the Devonport，the environment is cosy and bright. And the staffs are super hospitable and friendly. It’s hard to make decisions for the food because of so many choices. I would like to try another one next time～～～

Delicious! It’s always busy. Indoor and outdoor seating. Yummy cabinet food that tastes great. You can’t choose between all the great menu options. The miso salmon was divine and the eggs benny too. The house made crumpets looked great and so did the avo on toast! Great coffee! Easy to walk too from the Devonport Ferry, it will only take you 2minutes! Dog friendly outside.

Distance is always not a problem when it means you get to try good(fab😍) food. (I Iive in the CBD and will definitely revisiting!) Definitely one of the best cafes I have been to!! Lily and her waiting staffs/chef were so friendly hehe. Nice ambience and good lighting. Ordered some fungi omelette and smoked fish today and I would say you get what you pay for 👌👌👌. Big portion and good for sharing.

Hungry in Devonport? I walked across the street to the coffee roasters to buy morning tea for the team at David Martin Motors. These boys keep my fd, purrr-fect. When I asked for some food to go with the coffees they informed me they do not do food, just coffee but go to Lily next door for food. Nothing could have prepared me for the offer at Lily. (I have walked by a bizillion times and have never gone in) The food selection is fresh and the portions are abundant . The chicken pie (shaped like a crescent/pastie) was especially over the top as were the mile high sausage rolls...............they should be called 'entire pig in a blanket'; this was not morning tea this was a meal. Lemon curd bars were selected as well. Too perfect, sweet, yet tangy and buttery. After I dropped the parcel of food off for the boys I contemplated; I bet they don't eat lunch. A great off the beaten track location, go; you will not leave hungry.

Great location with 2 mins walk to the beach, staff are friendly, coffee was nice, food are all tasty and in good values, pet friendly place with birds around. The outdoor furnitures can be a bit uncomfortable for us.

I came here once before and had a coffee with a canelè, as I was passing through. It was amazing, I thought to my self if you can make a canelè this good. The food must be amazing. I came in today and was absolutely blown away how good the food is. I love the welsh rarebit, the scrambled eggs with chilli jam gives it that nice kick. The classic was done really well, love the mix of flavors. Everything really taste like the person who made the food, has a real love and passion for food. I eat at a lot of places this is in my Top 10. It's far for me to get here but am definitely coming back. I met the owner Lily and she one of the nicest people you can meet who is passionate about food. Staff is really polite. Coffee is really good as well

Great coffee! A Hidden gem in Devonport

It is my first time visiting New Zealand, and a friend and I decided to take a quick trip to Devonport to have a look around. We happened to come across Lily's by pure luck and I am so glad that we did! The cafe itself is really nice, and was playing a really great selection of music. We were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome, and were very kindly and nicely advised that the kitchen was only open for another 5 minutes so if we wanted something to eat we would need to order soon. I asked for help with what to choose as I am vegetarian and I was offered a selection of items (which all looked/sounded delicious). I ended up choosing something from the cabinet - a roll and a freshly made salad - and it was honestly one of the best meals I have EVER eaten. The bread was so delicious, as were the contents of my roll, and the salad. I also ordered an iced coffee which was perfect. The staff were all very friendly and polite, and were really nice to talk to - especially Lily herself! It was also very good value for money. I can't wait to go back again :-)

One of the dishes that I recommend for this cafe is Potato Benedict. The Potato Benedict here is different from the others. The hash browns are extra fragrant, and Bacon is extra crispy. Every time you come, it’s a must!

Very cute cafe, simple but beautiful decoration, relaxed environment, food was a generous portion, we tried the mushroom and egg sandwich was very tasty, the pork sausage was well seasoned and with good amount of spice. We are coming back for the sweets as we didn't have space in the tummy for em this time, but they looked amazing .

The corn fritter and chicken pie that we ordered is very average and portions are small. We also got charged $0.5 for asking for orange juice with no ice, yet it still came with lots of ice cubes in our juice. I don't think we will be going back again.

My good friend works at Lilys. I stopped by and ordered the Trevally fish (smoked fish, brioche, Creme fraiche, pickled egg, salsa verde, lemon) i found out that Lily cooked the dish herself! Absolutely delicious. Recommend. Thanks Lily! 🙏🏾 Lily Eatery is one of those hidden gems. You have to be in the know ;)

What a find. Anyone who serves eighthirty coffee is already onto a winner. But Lily also serves amazing brunch, and incredibly friendly service. As a perennial Big Breakfast consumer, I was initially disappointed to not find this on the menu. But they had Welsh Rarebit, which I had never tried before. Its not often I am silent during meals, but this was one of those occasions well done team!

Hello, we often come to your cafe - our favourite in Devonport (hence the 5 stars). But I suggest you should keep an eye on your web site. We checked today (Dec 31) before coming over from the city and the page read OPEN - closing at 4:00pm. So we came but it was very obviously closed. Lucky to accidentally stumble upon this cafè while in Devonport. Really friendly staff and delicious food. I would skip savoury and jump straight to the baked goods as they were amazing... someone really knows how to bake here! Going back for a 3rd visit before heading home to Melbourne tomorrow.

A really innovative chef works here. We had a peak at her in the kitchen for a quick chat. She is a really clever chef and her suttle reinterpretation of regular dishes elevates each dish to a few levels higher. We truly appreciated the experience. To top it off both of the Batistas are masters of coffee making too. We are truly spoiled in DEVONPORT... So lucky to have LILY as a local gem. Cheers
