We really enjoyed our experience today, the wait staff were very busy but our waiter handled the pressure with skill and made our breakfast experience incredibly comfortable. We had the fried chicken and the sticky rice, both were well balanced and delicious with light flavours that really complimented each other. Our coffee was unfortunately a bitter, but it came out quickly and it wasn’t terrible. Really our experience went from 3 stars to 5 simply because of our waiter who went above and beyond! Thank you Rick ⭐️

Consistently great. Amazing service from a lovely team. Coffee was absolutely spot on (+ oat milk) and choices to suit everyone- dietary needs/wants totally catered for. Pictured: breakfast butty, cheese scones (a must try) and an oat flat white.

A cafe using the Kokako brand coffee beans is always a good sign for us when looking at new cafes to try. Lola cafe was great! We enjoyed the delicious cheese scone and Sicilian apple cake, and of course, the coffee was excellent. Service was really good, and the staff seemed really organised and in sync with one another which meant quick and efficient service even though the cafe was really busy!

Just had lunch at Lola's. Absolutely outstanding. Lovely, friendly service and great food. I had creamy mushrooms with haloumi, brocollini potato cake and roasted tomato. Food and atmosphere was great. Price is pretty fair in my opinion. Nice and clean, staff very friendly and personable. Ordered an espresso shot with cream which I had to down like an actual shot as it was so sour it was almost undrinkable.

Love to come in here to grab a coffee or for brunch. The staff always seem very busy, but are still super friendly, great costumer service. Coffee and baked goods out of the cabinet are great, and all the food I have tried from the menu is also delicious. Love it here!

Great cafe with cool vibe. Really popular over the weekend. Plenty of seating indoors. Some seating outside if you prefer! Service was great and food is A+. Kid friendly, with suitable menu items and colouring-in to distract them. Coffee is great! Plenty of parking in the shared complex. They take bookings if required! Seems like they can cater for larger or smaller groups. Highly recommend.

We had booked a few days in advance with my workmates for Brunch and weren't disappointed. We were seated outside in a lovely spot and food came out almost immediately. Our waiter was friendly and the atmosphere great. The food matched the day, scrumptious! I had the Egg Bene with Salmon and it was yummy. We will definitely be back!

The food here is divine along with the tea. The pancakes are to die for. Service is good and the place has a nice vibe to it, with colouring in for the kids, that I enjoyed as an adult :). While Lola cafe may appear on the pricier side you actually get great value for your buck.

It's in a funny little place, so you wouldn't nessicarly know to stop here... but you SHOULD! Consistantly good in both cabinet food selection and menu. Nice seating areas and friendly staff. I'm trying to introduce more of my friends and family to it because it is just one of those cafes that will please everyone.

Had breakfast here this morning for the first time and just had to post a review. My parents are regulars here and they love this place. I got an Eggs Benedict and a mocha. I must say I have not had such a nice Eggs Benedict in a really long while. There was thick slices of good quality smoky bacon and also a yummy herby hashbrown as well. The eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise sauce was delicious! Their mocha was also nice. I had a little bit of the vegetarian pide from mum and that was also amazing! Also special mention for the staff at this place. Excellent service👍

Lola is my absolute favourite local which always reliably brightens my days when working from home (especially in lockdown at the moment). Their staff are incredibly generous and friendly (who learn to know and remember your name) which completely sets them apart from other cafes in the area. Their food and coffee is amazing and I'm looking forward to being able to have many memories with friends and whānau inside again (with their beautiful interior) as restrictions ease. Photo from this morning when they surprised me with stacking my iced latte with an incredible stack of their incredible homemade marshmallows and different slices. Upon arriving no one greeted the staff just stared at us. Had to approach staff to get a table. Once seated surroundings was a mess, menus lay scattered on the partitions, table cloth on the ledge next to our table along with crumbs, floor had a lot soil. This is a fairly new cafe but seem run down and not kept clean and tidy. Waitress looked after us was pleasant and immediately told us half hour wait on ala carte orders. There was no effort to try offer a side of something while we wait to upswell their ala carte. Next to us table of 6 had no choice but to leave after getting informed of the wait. I’m surprise staff didn’t make en effort to retain customers as there many vacant tables. Coffee was average but quick to come. While waiting a nice gentlemen came to check on us if were ok. Notice a lot of customers shaking their heads not happy with something. Food arrive chicken salad presentation was good, but taste was average. Chicken was dry Fried chicken was average I was expecting a wow since it’s their specialty. So was disappointed. No one came to check on our food. From my opinion this place needs a good FOH manager to lead the team, to show their presence and train the staff. Seem they hve a positive bunch of staff just need a good leader. It’s very unorganized and staff seem to be guessing each move.

Lovely little cafe in an unlikely location. All the food looks delish, had the banana and coconut loaf from the cabinet and it hit the spot. Great service. Serves Kokako coffee.

The cafe is located by the McDonalds on the corner of Ellerslie-Panmure and Mount Wellington Highways. There is quite a bit of parking which is nice. The cafe is fairly large with quite a lot of tables. It did take a while for someone to greet us when we were waiting for a table. Once seated we got menus. The items were a combination of standard cafe items like eggs Bene and more interesting ones like the Philly Cheese Steak. I had the Philly Cheese Steak but was also quite close to getting the cheese dog. We also had the corn fritters to share. I also had the chili hot chocolate. The hot chocolate wasn't very spicy but did have fronds on top of it which made drinking it a bit of a hassle since you get a few fronds as you drink. The corn fritters were quite nice since you could actually taste the corn. Good flavour and it had a nice sauce. The cheese Steak was also quite nice but would have like a stronger cheese taste. It was a nice cafe for food They also had cabinet food by the coffee machine too.

As a celiac, I struggle to find tasty GF food. Lola has hit it out of thr park! The chicken and eggplant salad was like having a party in my mouth. The flavors were spot on and I will definitely be back for more.

Finally a decent eatery in Mt Wellington, i ordered the Philly Steak Sandwich because it seems pretty popular. The portions are huge, and quality is pretty good. I wouldnt dub it as the best, but i wouldnt mind coming back. The coffee is spectacular though!

Great bottom less coffee. Food was delicious. Homemade Marshmallow was like I never tasted before super soft just melts in your mouth. Staff makes you comfortable always checking on you and welcoming.

Was incredibly impressed with this cafe! I came with 2 friends and got the blueberry pancakes, weren’t too sweet which was a plus and home made meringue too which was really yummy! Was really busy for your usual Sunday so did wait a little while for food. Staff were incredibly friendly too

Love this place for the good food and BIG portion sizes. It's real value.... similar prices to other cafes but they give you heaps! Friendly and efficient staff. Highly recommend... I do think their coffee game needs to step up just a little bit to be on par with some of auckland's best... (it is good though...)

Service was perfect, the food was perfect, and they even offered up a small serving of fried chicken to complement our main meals we had ordered. Thanks to the chefs, the food was great! You wouldn’t expect it. The cafe looks like a normal diner, almost has a Denny’s-esque feel. Stopped by on my way to pick up my car, expecting burgers and chips, but they do the most amazing vegan bowl!! It was so well presented and every mouthful was heavenly. Reached what you would call good-zen. Highly recommended if you want healthy, vegan and gluten free options!

What a cute cafe!! The staff are always so friendly so it was an easy choice to make this my new local go-to. Yummy coffee that always comes with a house made marshmallow or mini-bite of their baked goods. There’s also strong WiFi so great place to have a WFH day or business meeting.

Nice food, not many options for younger kids. Hi Rebecca, I did see the kids menu. There were 3 options and none with any vegetables. But the food was delicious and the place is very nice and the service was very good. Just wish there was a somewhat healthy option for kids. Hence the 4 stars :-)

First time visit to Lola cafe yesterday. Lovely atmosphere, friendly surroundings. On Arrival the waiter/worker assisted in a professional matter. Our table was in a great spot. The food is absolutely delicious, That lemon passion fruit cake OMG just melts and wow big high 5 to the chef I think her name is Cathy? The Kiwi lady at Lola cafe. I want to come back and try the carrot cake. I couldn’t make up my mind what to eat because all the food in the stand look so good. Lola cafe I have got to say is one of the BEST!! Cafe I have been to in Panmure, Mt Wellington, Sylvia Park, GI, and Pakuranga area. So good to actually eat good quality and freshly made food at a cafe. Love love love. Can’t wait to go back. 🌼👍🏽💚.

Massive praise to this cafe, my Mum & Dad went here for morning tea yesterday (Mum is a regular). Due to very challenging and unique circumstances a staff member from Lola could sense their distress and helped walk them back home approx 1km away, before walking back to work. Delicious meals, generous portion sizes and friendly staff - a favourite for staff breakfasts! They can be very busy during peak times, especially during the week, so make sure to check with them if you want seating for a big group. Give them a try - you wont regret it!

When you walk in, you feel like you've walked into what a McDonald's cafe would have been, yellow and red. We ordered the Fried Chicken and Fish Sub with two coffees. After 15 mins or so, our drinks came, coffee was good. The pineapple marshmallow that came with it was a nice touch. After a good 30 mins, to our joy, our food finally arrived. At a first glance, the food looked well presented, but this is when it started going downhill. Our fried chicken was salty, think what your KFC fries should be like and then another bucket of salt. The fish sub was OK, too bad they didn't give me a blow torch to melt the cheese. Overall, for the price of the food, 3 stars at a stretch. Maybe we just came on a bad day?

Finally, a decent cafe is this part of Mt. Wellington! Couldn't fault the service, staff, food, or the coffee. The staff in particular on this day were super attentive but not in your face. A thoughtful gesture was bringing out colouring books and pencils for my daughters without being asked. I'll give it a few more visits but this place could easily become our local. Well done to the staff and the owners for all the hard work setting Lola up. It shows.

The place itself was really nice but the food was mediocre. I had the breakfast butty with GF toast. The toast was just too crumbly and didn’t taste very good and the bacon was just a bit too salty. The hash was delicious though!

Have been twice and love it! The portion sizes are big, food is delicious, and coffee is great (I just take an espresso though so can't comment on the rest). I'm already addicted to the green aioli. The ambiance and decor are so relaxing and there are a few different seating options. It's also nice and warm inside. The staff walk around refilling water, which is pretty special for a Mt Wellington cafe 😍 It also means if you need anything you have regular contact with the staff so they'll sort you out. Both times I went weren't too busy, so there wasn't a long wait for food and coffee.

Wandered on in here as I was feeling a little peckish. Expectations were through the floor. I was pleasantly surprised to find a pleasant, modern interior. I was very satisfied with my dining experience. Finally, a decent cafe close to Panmure & Pakuranga. Prices are what you'd expect. Service was repsonsive and we didn't wait long for our meals considering the Cafe was full (10am Sunday 1/12/2019). Great coffee and delicious breakfast. The Bounty Smoothie was worth it. I've heard the cabinet food is great as well.

Lola Cafe - named after owner, Rebecca McRobie's dream, of a sunny tropical island where a beautiful polynesian girl in a vivid yellow dress approached her, introducing herself as 'Lola' - is a vibrant new eating spot which opened in the new Panmure Corner. The restaurant is decorated with bright hues of red glass and bursts of yellow and mustard splashes of colour on chairs, booth upholstery and even the coffee machine, which at once transport you to back to the warmer climes of the dream. We had Philly Cheesesteak and the Buttermilk Fried Chicken. The sandwich was a good balance of Steak and Provolone which had been decadently melted over and heavy on the grilled peppers and onions. The fried chicken was paired with a coleslaw which didn't quite cut through the chicken grease, but was a welcome addition along with a pillowy sourdough roll and a small cruse of rich gravy. Both meals were served with excellent crinkle cut fries, hot from the kitchen and neither greasy nor poorly seasoned which rounded out each meal nicely. Service was friendly but often fractured due to the sheer chaos of the lunch rush. Our meals were further delayed by a huge table which were seated just prior to us, so getting in early is your best bet. Lola is certain to become a local favourite and well worth a try if you're in the neighbourhood.

Took family here for breakfast for the first time. Great food, and our daughter gave the chicken & egg plant salad a 10/10, and coffee was nice. Lola was very busy on Queen’s Birthday but we were pleasantly surprised at how quickly the food came out. Ricky was very attentive and made sure our experience was an enjoyable one. Highly recommended and we will go back again.

The colorful red and yellow of Capsicum, the green of baby leaf is beautiful, cashew nuts are abundantly sprinkled, and Asian dressing is applied. The contrast between the crispy feeling of rice eggplant and the crispness of the outside is irresistible 😋 The good thing about Lola is that the quality of the cabinet hood is high. You can have a fulfilling meal even after the kitchen is closed. In such a case, we recommend the roasted Vege Pide toasted gem. Pide (Turkish bread), which is not too crispy and not too hard, contains roasted rice eggplant, red capsicum, and pumpkin, and is sandwiched between peppery baby leaf and two types of cheese. The outside is crispy and the inside is crunchy and delicious! !! The parking lot is large and various shops are gathered, so it is very convenient and I often use it ♪ (Original) Charlie and Georgeで数々の賞を取ったやり手オーナーが新たに2019年9月にオープンしたLola。その手腕は言うまでも無く細部にまで神経を尖らせたカフェは、店内は綺麗で清潔、コーヒーはもちろん料理も非常に良い。スタッフの教育も素晴らしく皆さんフレンドリー。自家製マシュマロが売りで各コーヒーには美味しいマシュマロが付いてきます♪ NZのカフェではあまり見かけないウィンナーコーヒー(Vienna)があるのも個人的には嬉しい😃なかなか見ないんですよウィンナーコーヒー😆 食べ物のオススメはChicken & Crispy Eggplant salad。カリッと揚がった茄子にきちんと下ごしらえされ程よく焼かれたチキンとフレッシュな良く冷えたサラダ。カプシカムの色鮮やかな赤と黄色にベビーリーフの緑が美しく、カシューナッツがふんだんにかけられてアジアンドレッシングがかかっています。米茄子のトロッとした感じと、外側のカリッと感との対比がたまらない😋 Lolaの良いところはキャビネットフードのクオリティが高いという事。キッチンがクローズした後でも充実した食事ができます。そんな時のオススメは、Roasted Vege Pideをトーストしてもらった逸品。サクッとして硬すぎないPide(ターキッシュパン)に、ローストされた米茄子、レッドカプシカム、カボチャが入り、胡椒の効いたベービーリーフ と2種類のチーズで挟まれています。外はカリッと中はトロッとしていて美味い！！ 駐車場も広くいろいろな店が集まっている場所なのでとても便利で良く利用させて頂いています♪
