Delicious food, great experience. We had the Berry French Toast, Smashed Avocado, Coffee, and Berry Smoothie. All top notch. A few dogs in the outside area, which were all very cute (and respectful).

Delicious, fresh food. Very reasonable prices. They do a 2 for 1 deal on the starters/smaller plates on Tuesdays which is just awesome value! The staff are very bubbly, polite and attentive. Longroom can get very busy (because it's so amazing 😉) so I'd recommend to book in advance or call ahead. Definitely will return!

Overall a very pleasant experience from a Vegetarian perspective with a nice balance of variations. Mushroom pasta is especially well done and so was the Buddha Bowl. Definitely a worthy eatery to go back for.

SERVICE 🙌 DRINKS👏. Had my 28th birthday here. We just reserved a table for 13 and from the get go the communication and hospitality was amazing. Sas the manager and Pheobe the wait staff took such incredible care of us. Sas offered us the deck at the rear of the venue to use privately. She also offered my twin and I complimentary birthday drinks. We were well cared for, for the whole night. It honestly felt like VIP service by close friends. The food was delicious and the cocktails were impressive! Thank you!!! 🙏

Has a really nice atmosphere, especially in the front section which has an outdoors feel without being open to the elements. Can get really packed when it gets in club mode because it's literally a long room and it makes moving around incredibly difficult. The bar service this time was really slow. The bar stools at the bar hinder access and minimal staff behind the bar plus some being preoccupied with table orders means the wait can be a little long. Floor staff are really on to it though. Prices aren't crazy though so not so bad all round.

Had a lovely fathers day lunch here. The staff were super kind and attentive, and cleearly all taking COVID seriously as nearly all staff were wearing masks - would have been 5 stars if every staff member was! Thank you for taking care of our family.

Stopped here for dinner and was quite surprised that the food menu here wasn't too bad, most items around or under the $25 mark. The "big plates" were mostly over $30. The sizes of the mains weren't too bad but the big plates for 2 were a bit small. I had ordered the lamb rack and it was enough to feed one (maybe two if you add multiple sides). The service was fair, mostly because most of the staff were busy in the courtyard so the ones inside were a bit neglected. it you do end up sitting on the inside be wary that the music is on the loud side and they do turn into a club after 8-9ish so those seated inside are asked to vacate their tables.

Nice place, great atmosphere. Friendly service. Love the decor inside, some yummy cocktails and good happy hour selection. Cozy seating and a fireplace make this open-faced gathering spot very inviting. It has some curb appeal -- my friend and I wandered in off Ponsonby Rd. after both agreeing it looked cool. We were not disappointed! Great location among Ponsonby Road's famed eclectic shopping and nightlife. A lovely place to meet up with friends for cocktails.

During dinner hours the music isn’t too loud. We will definitely return.

Stopped in here on a really difficult day. Nice trendy eatery and bar in the heart of busy Ponsonby Road. Always hustling with people and quite lively as well. Vegetarian options are lesser in number though. The food taste and preparation is good. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Parking can be a problem though since the area is always busy. Well recommended.

I'd enjoy this place far more if they had a non-smoking policy. I'm not a smoker and find it quite frustrating that I can't enjoy the outdoors because of the number of people smoking. Other than that, staff is always nice and friendly and music is quite cool. Place gets packed late night!

Very spacious place with a nice selection and pretty quick service. Stuff is a bit expensive here outside happy hour with $10 bottles of beer. But, happy hour does from 4pm to 8pm so totally worth it.

Enjoyed sitting on the deck catching the last rays of sunshine, whilst drinking a superb Rosé. Had some lovely platter enjoyed the squid and the Chip's came in gravy. Yummy but our vegetarian less pleased, oh well can't please everyone. Venue was smart and staff were friendly.

Their service is awesome. Meals are delicious and moderately priced. What surprised me the most was the kids meals. For $11 (or $12?) they have various options for kids, and it includes a glass of fresh juice and a dessert (ice cream with sprinkles and a churro!). Not only that, but if you take kids on Sundays from 5-7pm, they'll eat for free with every main order. Definitely somewhere else to go back over and over again!

We rate Longroom four and a half stars after 2 visits. We did use a Grab One voucher which made the meal great value for money. We have tried the prawns and chicken small shared plates, the steak main meal shock which were all great meals but our favourite was the pork ribs main. We have been there was Sunday lunch and Sundsy dinner which we booked ahead but not overcrowded. A nice touch was the free sparkling water. It's licenced and has a good range of beverages. Service was great both times. We will go again. Thanks Longroom

One of the nicer looking spots inside and out in Ponsonby, especially the front open patio area. Staff are very nice and helpful too as we've started hosting our UX Auckland Happy Hour events here with much appreciation. They've got a lot of food sharing plates, but then a fairly standard list of beers that they'll make up for with their specialty cocktails. I'm actually surprised I don't have any pictures so this'll have to do for now!

Their trademark pork belly was prepared slightly differently than we remembered, but the accompanying miso sauce was as finger licking good as we remembered. The elderflower cocktail though tasted more lemon than elderflower.

Its also a great place for people watching, you might see a few sporting and local TV stars out an about. Definitely still a hotspot on Ponsonby Road

A great way to ring in the new year. A 20 dollar cover, and decent music, but the music could be more varied as the dj turned every song into a dance beat. Some repetitiveness as well in terms of music. I experienced a rude bar tender, and there is a lot of movement in the club. People won't stop walking to a fro, which was a tad frustrating. Overall, a decent place to ring in 2017.

Argh. I just don't get the attraction to this bar. Yes its long which makes it awkward and it doesn't feel cosy or comfortable. The bathrooms were filthy on my last visit, the drinks typically expensive and the music average.

After a full, newly designed interior, Longroom has gone up several notches. Espresso Martinis there are still the best in Auckland. This is definitely a good place to start your night rather than ending it, 8.30-10.30 is the time to go to get the best experience.

I've read the previous reviews and mostly mentioned that the service is poor. I don't know is it because that was 1-2 years ago and hires have changed but my experience is quite the opposite. The one thing that will bring me back besides the cider, good atmosphere and food would be their service. If I went there once, I could have written it of as beginner's luck but both times that I went there, I received really good service and commend the staff of Longroom for a job well done!
