Nice portions, if you sit outside you can see the sea. I ordered peach tea which was good. But didn't like the taste of the food so much.

Great place to stop for some food, everyone was very happy with their meals, I had the Chicken Fettuccine which was a decent size and had well balanced flavor. Staff were great, helpful, friendly and attentive. Well worth a visit.

I usually come here with my hubby for afternoon tea but this time with my family - husband, my son's family, his wife and two children for breakfast, we called in for reservation for 7 pax and.our meals..wallah, when we arrived we were so pleased. Everything is prepared, food so delicious at a reasonable price and portion. So love the place, highly recommended. Staff most of all friendly and helpful. See you soon.

Update: 26/12/2021-I could clearly see a distinctive improvement from my last review. Well done, keep it up! There can be more done in terms of improving the overall experience. Overall presentation, wait time, customer service etc. can improve. Prices are okayish for the location.

Nice sunny cafe for morning tea today and we were warmly welcomed. My friend ordered a flat white and black forest cake. I had a pot of Earl Grey tea and a slice of date and apple cake. They looked delicious but were a little dry unfortunately. The glacé apple on the top was tasty, pity more wasn't inside the cake!

Great service and atmosphere. Ordered Eggs Benedict and the bacon and sauces went well together. Personally I think this meal doesn't go well on a brioche bun as it is too buttery and or sweet, otherwise great

Had a great breakfast. Their eggs on toast was really yum. Friendly staff and a quick service. You can enjoy a great view of mission bay with outside seating. A great place to start your day.

Honestly wish I could rate the food higher because the people are absolutely lovely, so warm and friendly and helpful! The food was pretty average - creamy mushroom medley came with the (borderline overly salty) creamy sauce piled high onto the sourdough so it was soggy from the start, would be an immediate improvement if the sourdough was just served on the side. The supposedly famous banoffee pie tasted overwhelmingly sweet, just caramel/toffee and no hint of banana anywhere. Had fish and chips on a previous visit and it was mostly a really thick layer of greasy batter. 5 stars for the service, but the food could be improved on.

This place is amazing! They offered the best coffee and showed the best attitude to its customers. Internet connection is very fast and is unlimited as well. This place is indeed perfect for studying and chilling out. It was very quiet and air-conditioned. I just want to keep coming back to this place. Thank you!

My friend and I attempted to have some brunch after running by the beach. However the whole experience is quite disappointing. There were only two waitresses on the floor and one barista behind the counter - apparently not enough staff at 10am on a Sunday morning. Staff were friendly, but definitely not well-trained, moving slowly on the floor and had no idea what was their priority. We tried to be patient as we notice it was bit understaffed, but we were just being ignored so many times. It took more than 10 mins for placing the order and took nearly 40 mins for meals to arrive. Coffee is not top notch but drinkable. My friend ordered salmon hash cake ($28.5) - salmon tasted too too salty, like being cured for too many days and never tasted and quality controlled by the chef. Sauce and hash cake itself was fine. I ordered Vietnemese chicken salad ($23.5) - the only flavour I can tasted was sweet, really sweet, no evident fish sauce flavour (which supposed to be a contribution if you call a dish vietnamese flavour), so the whole dish is not balanced and had no depth at all. You can definitely find many food-court vietnemese dishes way better that it with nearly half price. We understand normally people should not expect much from a cafe next to the beach, but this is just way too bad and you just can’t see any evidence that any part of the operation is being taken cared of to ensure a good customer experience. Just my thought of today, maybe it is not always this bad.
