L.Excellent food and very good portions - we got the pork belly, roasted duck and Swedish meatballs. They were all very tasty and well priced. The duck leg is a must.
R.Excellent brunch. Friendly service, great food and coffee, plenty of parking, right next to the beach and lots of shops. The salmon eggs Benedict was magnificent, and well priced. House smoked salmon the best I've tasted. My wife loved the Belgian waffles. Comfortable seating, a lovely spot. Highly recommended.

M.Food was good but nothing beats the service my family and I received from Megan (I think that’s her name). Literally can’t beat it and will never be able to find it anywhere else. SHE is an asset to the company, is the reason we will be coming back, and honestly deserves a pay rise. If tipping was a thing in NZ she would have all my money.
K.Good service, the waitress was a lovely chatty person but my scone could have been used for a hockey puck, it was that heavy.. It wasn't fully baked and was most unpleasant to eat, all other food was good. Thanks for the reply, it was on Monday the 25th April

B.11/10 would absolutely recommend this cafe. Special mention to the young man who served the world's best mochas! He was relaxed, respectful and made sure we were well looked after. The cafe is cosy, full of beautiful art, serves amazing drinks and the staff go above and beyond. The Spotify playlist was a perfect blend of relaxing and bangers.
Montrose is my favourite Northshore cafe and I'll be back!

R.Nice quiet place by the beach, with plenty of free parking. Good food and coffee, reasonable prices. Friendly staff.
