Omaha Beach Cafe is a locals dream and a must visit for anyone who visits the area. The coffee is always delicious and the food is fresh and tasty. The staff are welcoming with great chat while you wait for your coffee :) They have really adapted in these trying times for hospo and we will continue to support our local gem <3 P.S for a sweet treat the carrot cake is a must try!

Visited this cafe recently and it is very average. Food - burger with bacon was very average, bun was dry. Smoothie were also average. Location is great. Customer service is OK. We will not visit again though.

Great coffee by the barista, popped in at 7:30am on a Sunday for a few takeaways and enjoyed it. Can’t comment on the food but definitely recommend the coffee

Food is great. Sad about the vaccine pass requirements though. Govt is treating them very unfairly

Fabulous coffee- always consistent. Cooked breakfast is very good , especially the eggs Benedict with matakana smoked salmon. Staff very friendly, even when they get busy.

Excellent food, coffee and service.

Lovely lunch and location. The menu is fairly basic with a couple of surprises, and some nice local produce. Service was friendly, and the food was excellent. My partner had the full breakfast, and the meats were delicious. I had the Matakana smoked salmon and avocado on toast - the salmon was wonderful, the avocado was perfect, and the freeze dried cherry tomato garnish was a nice surprise. The sourdough on both meals was a standout. Sadly, poached eggs were very very slightly overdone, but not enough to spoil anything. Coffee was Supreme (good as always), and the Snickers slice was a great (if sugary) way to finish off.

Very nice. Had slight problem with coffee cup bit dirty wasn't a problem waitress got me another coffee. Very pleasant girl that served us.

Came here on the weekend for breakfast, food was average. Had the mince on toast, was pretty bland. The main problem when we came here was their own rules during Level 2. They wouldn't let us use their bathroom, they wouldn't give us bottles of water for the table, they said we couldn't have more than 10 on a table, yet we had to order at the counter when level 2 is meant to be table service? The queues to order food at one point were huge, so many randoms standing next to each other. There were 16 of us in total so we split up into two tables, but then after our friends had left the initial table that they wouldn't let us join, more people sat there which exceeded 10 and they let them sit there? Seemed like they picked and chose their own level 2 rules which were utterly ludicrous and questionable.

Great food, Supreme coffee, really lovely spot. Definitely eat here rather than at the surf club closer to the beach. Recommend the fry up and the smoked salmon and avo toast. Also a surprisingly good beer selection. This one's a winner, folks!

Fantastic. The most beautiful coffee ever. Had eggs bene with bacon, 100% recommend this place. Light airy setting, polished and professional.

This is a casual roomy place to eat with indoor and outdoor seating. The lunch meals are tasty and healthy. Great coffee. Great cakes made on the premises but I think they should be in a cabinet rather than sitting on the counter.

Coffee and food were fine, but the service at the counter was serly and a little unpleasant. Yes, it was busy, so perhaps they need an experienced staff member on the till at these times. After all, The Farmers Daughter cafe down the road looks attractive and enticing.

I have frequented the Omaha Beach Café for the last couple of years—delicious coffee (Coffee Supreme), yummy food, great craft beer selection, smoothies, juices and a really friendly staff. Would definitely recommend dropping in next time you visit Omaha Beach.

Just your typical local cafe. Nothing special. So there is nothing great to say but that they are in a awesome location. The food was average and the service was also average. I ordered a spinach and feta filo - it came with salad on the side. It was chewy and under seasoned. Pretty tasteless but not absolutely horrible. The blueberry and date smoothie was okay but still on the tasteless side aswell. Probably won't be back next time I'm in the area.
