I like the coffee here & they fill your cup up yay - Fat White large $4.8, need soft seating on those hard wooden seats please, not everyone's got meaty butt checks haha.

Waiting time was a bit long, but the Pain Au Chocolat and coffee made up for it. Perhaps a timely little announcement about waiting time could have eased the waiting.

Great little place nestled at the end of K Road. Lovely feel inside with fun, friendly and efficient staff. Real heart of the community vibe without being pretentious. Top notch coffee (Eighthirty) and small but well executed toastie/food menu. Recommend++

Highly rate this cafe. The ladies are super lovely, the coffee is second to none. I also get my coffee grinds from here- and the ladies are kind enough to only grind what I need for the week to ensure freshness! Oh, and did I mention the almond crossaints and the truffle toasties are to die for!

Hands down the best coffee stop on K-road, nothing not to like about Open. Staff are friendly and charismatic, the coffee is amazing and everything on the counter to eat is tasty.

Okay I’m a bit confused 😆 My partner and I walked along K’Road, looking for an Eightthirty Cafe but what we saw was an Open Cafe at the exact same spot where Eightthirty Cafe was supposed to be. So I guess they’ve rebranded? All good though, as we were still able to purchase and taste real good coffee that we consumed in a realy nice, nearby park. Love it! 😍 PS. Wrote this review when the cafe's name is was still Eightthirty 😉

A cozy place to have a cup of coffee and have a chat with colleagues. The coffee tastes great and the waitress are friendly. Besides, they also provide various single origin with affordable price.

This is in a great location cool space, hi stud. The bathroom is up the stairs and it is clean. Coffee is great. Staff friendly with great service ,uncomfortable seats.

This place produces the most consistently fantastic coffee in Auckland. Egg in a pocket is also off the the chain!

Very funky, hipster cafe. Great coffee, dark rustic taste to it - it's only unique amongst hipster cafes I've been to. Great environment, homey feel to it. I highly recommend this gem.

This guy knows his stuff makes great coffee and there are 2/3 of these coffee shops in central Auckland Queen St. One across the rd from Vulcan lame another on the corner of Anzac Ave Beach Rd.

The decor speaks to how seriously they take their coffee. There are a couple of tables to sit on inside and out and a small display of munchies. And of course a counter with a coffee machine. Great beans, great coffee.

Amazing coffee. Hands down.

I know drip coffee is not a thing in New Zealand but this guy makes some. It was underwhelming at best. Stick to a flat white and I bet it's worth the money.
