Reviews of Piha Store
M.This is the only store to purchase groceries, supplies, and snacks in Piha.
It is only a few minutes walk or drive from the beaches, and directly across the street from the campground and public toilets.
They have a lot of the basics- canned goods, fresh baked goods and desserts, bread (including fresh baked bread), ice cream, frozen food, and fresh made pies.
The prices are a little high, as expected so far away from other options.
They will make fresh wraps, salads, or sandwiches at their deli bar for you, and even toast them on their sandwich presses, if you like.
They have a full coffee bar, too.
They have plenty of organic, non-dairy, vegetarian and vegan options available.
The staff is pretty helpful and friendly.
We went here several times during our stay in Piha for “basics” and to get fresh desserts, baked goods, or pastries.
Be aware that they do NOT sell beer, wine, or other alcohol. BYOB when you come out to Piha
A.Great little store! Lovely food, amazing variety, decent coffee. Super friendly too. They have some essentials, a bunch of snacks and prepared food.
W.good service, and they obeyed the covid rules. Some Customers need to respect this, but as a whole, the 2 visits I did was very good - as was the food.

S.When you consider they are the only place around for miles they could afford to offer less however this little boho chic nugget has a good selection of freshly made sandwiches, salads and quiches along with packaged food. There are a few tables outside and public toilets across the street. A small surf shop is around the patio.
R.Great wee shop, just outside the main beach area of Piha, has some yum cafe style foods, quiches, toasted sandwiches, pies and they make great coffees. They also have general supplies like milk, eggs ice cream etc. Great for lunch or a snack and coffee to make it back through the windy Waitakeres roads.
H.Cute little corner store. Fresh baked pastries, I had the croissant. Went for coffee in the morning and although I don’t love paying $5.80 for an oat FW I was glad to have it! Thanks

We had breakfast there rather than up at Titirangi.
The items I bought tasted amazing and the coffee is good!! Highly recommended.
h.Great little store, has awesome coffee and food. Not to mention the pies are top notch everytime. Fairly priced and good customer service. Also has a surf shop that is attached next to it that has a good selection of all your needs for beach and surf
C.It was over $30 for three pies and two soft drinks. Quality produce and great that there are vegan and vegetarian options. May give your wallet a shock if you're not used to Piha prices though.

o.Good for a basic bite to eat. Moroccan Chicken pie is great. Cakes are really amazing too. Wish they did a few more options because the food quality is good. Good general store if you are camping or need a local general store.
J.Not only was my noodle box delicious and great value, the staff I met today were crazy fabulous, helpful and funny. I'll go back to Piha just to get my lunch in this friendly, lovely store!! What an absolute delight!
S.Here are the food we bought from Piha Store (plus a gluten-free loaf bread not in picture). I love the taste of freshness (with a hint of spice) from the Quinoa Salad. The quiche is surprisingly tasty and loved it while it’s still warm. And my husband loves the ginger bites and he said that he can really taste the strong flavour of ginger, but it is still sweet. I find it yummy but not my cup of tea. The Piha Store is worth a visit especially for first timers / tourists like us.
C.Stopped at the Piha store on our way into town to have a late lunch after hiking Kitekite. Great selection of prepared food and nice outdoor spot to eat. We both had a quinoa salad and some sweets which were all great!
A.All you need for a fantastic day at Piha, locally made fresh foods and beverages, try one of the best recipes of pies, muffins, soup, hot or cold drinks. I must stop by in my next visit to try another option of fresh pies and cakes for my wife and daughter. The freshly brewed coffee leaves you with the joy of real coffee beans.

D.Pricey store but I guess you are paying for the location. However, they serve ALLPRESS COFFEE so when I saw it I was excited to get some good quality coffee and I wasn't disappointed :)
Seemed quite busy, however we got our coffees in under 10 minutes and took a stroll to the beach.
Not sure about the previous comments in regards to the rude service- for us everything went great ☺

G.I can't describe how great the food is from the store: the steak pies are amazing, the meringues with chocolate sauce are addictive, the cheese scones are just epic. And the coffee rocks too. All served with a smile :-)

A.Only Convenience Store in the district, stocks the basics and is expensive.Shop is extremely small and could be difficult over summer. Toilets across the road, plenty of parking on roadside.

R.When I worked with a tv crew at Piha Beach, I went here for "10" cups of coffee. But a lady was really good at making coffee really quickly and all coffee were made well.
