Reviews of Remedy Coffee
J.
Gem of a cafe tucked just off queen street. The code was excellent. Try the matcha flavour. Lots of vegan food, clearly marked. I tried the vegan bagels today and they are sensational. Flavour packed and super duper fresh. Portion size is good for a small meal and price is very fair for the quality of ingredients.
E.
This is the best way you can be waken up by the city.
Always exceptional quality of coffee, great breakfast with reasonable price.
A classic dining place in the centre of the city.
What else can you ask for?!
Love it ❤️
L.
The service was ok, some staff was friendly, some wasn’t friendly. The scrambled eggs on toast I ordered was delicious, my flat white didn’t came until I had to friendly ask again (when I had eaten 2/3 of my meal), then it came without latte art and big bubbles on top (as the picture shows), I felt then it was a lack of respect and service quality.
R.
Can only speak to the coffee wishing is flight coffee very godd barrister and lovely coffee. Popped in her before a show at the civic on Sunday morning. Nice and cosy. Has a student feel. Well worth visiting.
J.
Coffee is always good. Highly suggest you guys fill coffee to the top tho, paid for large but the cup is 1/3 empty 🥲
S.
great coffee. friendly staff
R.
An eclectic, smart little cafe with upbeat waitstaff and a funky vibe. Centrally located in Auckland CBD. A great place to read a book, get some work done or take in the sidewalk-sights of the city. And perhaps the most important part: Quality coffee. Try the salmon bagel with red onions and capers for a light yet satisfying breakfast option.
m.
Great food, they do an excellent English breakfast sandwich! Great coffee, friendly staff and the place has nice decor! Lovely spot
V.
Awesome coffee, Great Barrista, Same price for any size you go for. The staff is super friendly and makes a great start to the day. 👍😊
C.
Very nice and cozy coffee shop in center of Auckland! I just loved everything there! The coffee, the breakfast with a crush for their Chia Pudding which is just delicious <3, the atmosphere, the staff, the barista, the decoration! I went there many times when I was there and I will definitely go there again if I’m back to Auckland!
M.
Lovely service and such a cool vibes, great music and loads of detail!! The food was soooo yum!
T.
It's so nice to get away from the large chains and try something different. The eclectic atmosphere was great. The salmon bagel was so good I had to go the next day and have another before my trip back to the US. The cappuccino had a nice body to it. I highly recommend this place. Great food and service.
K.
What a fantastic coffee shop. The atmosphere is so relaxed and cozy. Just what you're looking for on a cold weekday morning. The food is delicious (try the bacon and egg roll or the rice pudding). I got a latte and it was *chef's kiss* perfect.
p.
A lovely quaint little café just off Queen Street and opposite the Civic. Opens early and has a quiet yet but sling atmosphere with people coming in for coffees in the morning.
They have a book exchange deal where you can bring in books in exchange for the ones that you might like to read - great for all you bibliophiles out there.
The coffee is fantastic and I'm looking forward to trying their menu.
Staff are really friendly and yet not perky to the point of annoyance, especially in the early mornings!
Fun fact - there is a working arcade machine that is free to play while you're waiting for your coffees!
I.
I have been to Remedy Coffee several times and the place quotes high on my favorite-places-list in Auckland CBD. The place itself is cozy and well decorated. It gives a home-contemporary feeling which every young person will enjoy.
The staff is welcoming and kind, and is always there to assist you. The food is amazing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE BREAKFAST OPTIONS! There is a variety of food you can choose from (gluten-free, vegetarian, options are included). One of the best things about this place is the soup of the day - everyday there is different soup on the menu, so make sure you try some, if not all of them =)
The prices of food and beverages are lower comparing to other similar places in central Auckland, which makes this place affordable.
This place is worth every moment.
M.
A very cozy and warm place. Feels like you are sitting at home and having a cuppa. I tried the spicy chai latte as per the barista's recommendation and loved it. They close early so check out the timing before you go
s.
This place is top notch! The coffee/ espresso is delicious!!! The vegan snack I ate was yummy and the baristas are super duper friendly and helpful! I’m going here everyday I’m in Auckland, NZ !!!
G.
One of our “go to” cafes when we’re in Auckland. Good coffee. Fresh, wholesome food delivered with a smile. The chicken salad and the “power bowl” are pictured. Both delicious. You should go. (Board games, books and wifi too)
M.
Awesome breakfast and really good coffee. We tried salmon bagel, which was incredibly good for that price. Staff was friendly, they let us sit in the cafe even though we have finished our meal and they brought us another water for free just to have good time😊
R.
Great coffee spot across the street from the Civic Theater. Cakes are wonderful, including gluten free choices. Can be crowded at times and seating is limited. That can be charming or bothersome depending on your disposition. Otherwise a fabulous spot I visited over and over during my stay
R.
Very quirky place, love the decor and the coffee was amazing! Service was great and the staff cool. Pretty small inside so plan your visit according to busy times. Loved the comic book collection and movie memorabilia.
R.
Great coffee. Great service. Great music and vibe. Easy location. And wifi. Really what else could you want ?! Only thing is it’s a bit small but we came here 2 mornings and didn’t have trouble finding a seat even with a bigger group.
S.
Excellent cafe. My brother recommended the place and we went there for coffee and then twice more for breakfasts. It also runs a book exchange service.
Simple small cafe with outdoor seating. Unusual selection of foods.
B.
Cozy lil place for the daily coffee urge !! Food is really tasty especially the avo toast I tried !! Coffee is pretty good as well . I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a coffee shop in Auckland CBD,near to Queen St !!
J.
Quirky, laidback, delightful cafe. Excellent coffee!
Centrally located. Vegan and gluten free friendly.
Outdoor and window seating, eclectic style, array of comfy chairs, great tunes.
Well portioned meals. Ordered the açai bowl (with seeds rather than granola, v + GF) and hommus on bagel (substitutes for GF bread) - very tasty.
Busy yet relaxed atmosphere. Family friendly.
Good wifi. Loyalty cards available and left in store. Hand sanitiser available.
n.
Great coffee and great staff. Cool lil coffee shop and sitting outside (on the pavement) is always a good spot to people watch.
D.
Great cosy place! Nice coffee and next time we try their food because looks delicious!
g.
The wait is not long. As someone who LOVES matcha latte, I just have to say this is certainly not the best matcha latte I've had. The place is nicely decorated, very suitable to spend some time around and chill.
S.
It was one of few places open for breakfast on Saturday morning. Shortly after the opening hour it got busy very fast. Nonetheless, the staff were nice and the cervice was prompt. Smashed avocado on toast was delicious. Would definitely come back and recommend to try
M.
Cozy and friendly cafe serving breakfast and coffee, although the prices can be fairly high. We enjoyed the smashed avocado toast and the bacon and egg roll. The cafe can get crowded during breakfast and lunch hours.
m.
Great coffee, great vibes!
a.
A very cozy cafe spot with delicious coffee. So happy that I found this little cafe.
F.
I expected better after reading previous reviews. But I was left disappointed. The coffee, although "2 shots" comes in a 12oz glass, not your barista standard 8oz. Which meant my latte was on the weak side. Maybe my fault for not checking the size of the glass but I could definitely have done with the extra shot (third). Food wise, I got the burrito, which was tasty, but cold inside. Again, not what I would expect. A great looking independent cafe that could aim higher I think.
H.
Super cute and cosy cafe. Coffee was pretty good, quite a few vegan options. Staff are super helpful and friendly. Definately recommend for food and coffee.
M.
Nice and cute place, good coffee, delicious breakfast. You should definitely visit!
C.
Friendly staff, really reasonably priced coffee and great location.
P.
Excellent coffee, lovely staff and nice decor - we really enjoyed our 45 minute break at Remedy. The fruit salad and the Chia pudding were also great - we'll certainly be back.
O.
Very nice place for breakfast- delicious avocado toasts and wraps. Spicy chai latte is the best I've had so far!
R.
I just loved it. The nice and friendly staff made me feel welcomed and comfortable. The salmon bagel was so delicious, and the coffee was the best. I will definitely visit there again.
Y.
Good place to kick start your day, good and healthy food. Portions are small and bit pricey, but what to expect from a trendy place?
H.
Great place in Auckland to have a delicious latte, the stuff their are so kind 🥰
J.
A fantastic cozy space to get lost just off the city bustle. Space to chill, read comics, play a game, or just sit and people watch. Fantastic staff and excellent coffee (flat white).
J.
Wonderful small cafe in the centre of the CBD; WE enjoyed a lovely saturday breakfast out of the rain. The staff were fantastic and the fare was delicious. Plus there are loads of board games and classic Avengers comic books to keep you entertained.
D.
Great food, coffee and atmosphere. Comics are cool too.
R.
A small nifty place in the heart of the city. The service is great and the coffee, too. This café has an atmosphere like no other in the CBD - relaxing and has a unique interior (just the right amount). I usually like sitting by the window to enjoy my long black, chill and observe the pedestrians. Also, I remember seeing other customers (group) playing with boardgames. Perhaps it's an excellent way to get your coffee, Kai and some entertainment.
D.
Last time I’ve been here was like a year ago, and am really glad I got to visit them again while Auckland was on level 3 lockdown. Felt like I was able to rediscover their coffee and I was not disappointed. Ordered an iced soy latte and it was great! My partner got the flat white and got a review that it was one of the best she’s tasted. Service was ok too 👍☕️😊
K.
Cozy Cafe that gets quite busy with a good selection of food and drinks. The food came quickly and was quite good.
D.
Great little coffee shop with a lot of character inside!
Great food and coffee!
R.
Best coffee and breakfast in Auckland, nice and warm traveler spirit, staff are caring and professionally serving the guests
W.
Great little coffee shop just off queen st. Friendly service and good coffee. Pretty fancy. Gave me extra hot water without asking for adjustments :)
D.
Friendly service, great food, and the best coffee in my 4 days NZ Trip!
L.
A decent place for a quick morning coffee, and breakfast options.
N.
A bit tight in space. Coffee was amazing. Had a quirky feel to the place. If you find time have a quick read of the graphic novels available at this place.
K.
brekkie must: açai bowl or smashed avo + almond flatwhite
lunch must: soup of a day 😍
G.
Had a great mocha here, and my husband and a really nice turmeric latte. They have plenty of vegan milk options and the place itself seemed like a cool hangout. Loved the vibe with lots of old books and fun art. Unfortunately we were just grabbing a coffee to go, but I would have loved to have spent more time here!
M.
Super cute little place w good coffee and delicious food. Had one of the bagels on gluten free and it was SO GOOD. I forget which one but it had bacon and a fried egg. The cold brew was much weaker than I am accustomed to in the USA but asked for some coconut milk on the side to make it a creamy morning brew. Would go again for sure! Had outlets and wifi. Very small space though so prepare to be cozy
G.
Nice little haunt. Definite Melbourne vibes, and good coffee. Cabinet food on offer could be better, but I was here for coffee, and I have no complaints. Dig it.
C.
Remedy cafe has lovely staff, delicious food and drinks, and the best atmosphere that you could possibly find in the heart of the city. So cozy and well decorated, 100% will go back.
B.
Writing a review while it’s fresh in your head is the best time to do so, the service experience and flavours of the food still resonate in your mind and mouth. When we walked in our first impressions were that this is a very cozy, very comfortable, niche spot to sit down and have breakfast and coffee. A little cafe tucked away in the corner but not hidden from view. We were instantly greeted and welcomed with a smile, got told we can sit down and someone will serve us right away, and they did accommodate us so. Unfortunately, the food lost them some stars, while our requests were met, the second bite of my bagel took a wild turn when I bit into what tasted like blue cheese, it was in fact the Halloumi cheese, bitter and over powering, it tasted nothing like the authentic Greek cheese we all love, it wasn’t hard nor chewy nor was it salty in anyway. I honestly believed I was eating blue cheese. My wife got a dish containing halloumi as well and also had the same issue . The coffee was fairly average too! All around we had a somewhat pleasant experience, however we will not be back.
R.
This is a cool and funky place on Wellesley and was just around the corner from my hotel. The interior is eclectic and comfortable. Service was efficient and welcoming. The latte was great! Mild, piping hot and with nice 'coffee art". The range of choices for breakfast were quite extensive for such a small place. I decided on the Bircher Muesli and Bacon roll. The Muesli was awesome! Rich, creamy and tart all at the same time. I probably didn't need the bacon roll but I couldn't resist and I'm glad that I didn't. The bacon was perfectly grilled and there was a lot of it! The roll was absolutely fresh and combined with HP Sauce this was a bacon roll for the ages! So, take a seat on the red sofa and enjoy!
S.
Friendly little eclectic coffee shop. Great coffee and food. Atmosphere is also very chill.
g.
Like the atmosphere. 4.5 for a big coffee is cheap nowadays.
U.
Great coffee shop with an eclectic ambience.
The style of this coffee shop is very unique and has a 'I'm ordering coffee in someone's living room' type feel. The seating area is limited, but if you manage to get a seat it's a nice experience compared to your commercial coffee venue.
The lemon loaf is delicious. They slightly toasted the outside, leaving the inside warm and moist. If you're a fan of lemon cake, I highly recommend it.
If you're looking for a nice coffee without that corporation taste and feel, Remedy is where it's at!
D.
Excellent breakfast burrito and the service was perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed discussing coffee with the staff, and they were able to provide me with beans that suit my taste. Well worth the visit.
T.
Bit of a letdown based on reviews. Takeaway coffee not that hot or tasty and huge bread roll with a couple pieces of bacon and small egg didn’t really work. Sounded like it was a wrap so not what was expected. They may have better items and it was a nice little cafe.
M.
Great coffee and great meal. Its small but its very cozy. The staff were awesome and kind. A must go for anyone in Auckland looking for a place to hang with friends or just a quick coffee stop:)
E.
Loved the Chia bowl with fresh fruit. My husband thought that the chocolate, peanut butter cookie sandwich was divine. The coffee was super as well. We returned 3 times in our 4 day stay in Auckland. Wish it was in British Columbia 😉💜
y.
Best coffee and brunch with nice staff, awesome vintage vibe in Auckland city!
s.
Good coffee. The chia pudding is divinely delicious topped with fresh fruit!
E.
Always lovely service at Remedy! This is one of the best (if not THE best) casual coffee spots in central Auckland. Not only can you get great quality coffee and food, they have a great selection of comics, a rotating selection of books and a handful of board games available for use while you down your cup of Joe or pot of gumboot. All this and a free (yes free) arcade machine in the corner! Definitely check out this spot if you get the chance *thumbs up*
A.
This was the first time I had a coffee in this Cafe it is always very very popular it is at the same time quite small and has limited seating but it is always packed. it's a great little place with friendly staff and has a nice comfy sofa. The coffee is excellent.
M.
Eclectic as ever. Service, coffee, food very good. Friendly staff sometimes difficult to get a table due to its popularity.
r.
Tasty and very good quality coffee
S.
This is a very laid- back cafe also catering to gluten-free people even if not always labelled as such .Ideal for chilling out in the hustle and bustle, comfy couch many a time sat here for a chat. Students love it, professionals use it and every one behaves well here. With open windows , it's cool in summer. Okay if by yourself, sit by the window!
k.
Every time I come in ,the atmosphere set in side feels "homely" ,that plus the awesome and kind staff add onto it. Great coffee, and food. Definitely a place to stay as a regular.
T.
Nice place and delicious breakfast.
H.
Nice ambiance, variety of board games.
Flat white coffee was one of the best I had.
Main star was Smashed Avocado toast with goat cheese. I added one egg to the meal. Couldn't ever ask for a better taste!! The amount of smashed avocados is extremely generous. Plate is enough for two people.
Doesn't leave you feeling full and greasy. Must try!
Limited seatings but the tables by the window is awesome as you feel you're sitting in the street.
D.
Stoked to have real MATE in Auckland. Very cosy place and good stuff
T.
Probably the best coffee in Auckland... Great vibe from the moment you step inside. Warm and friendly staff are attentive. All items on the menu are reasonably priced yet still very high in quality. From toasted blueberry muffins to wraps and sandwiches there is lots of choice for you to decide. 10/10
R.
I recently started a new job in Midtown and I often arrive early and my building is yet to open, Remedy is a great place to grab delicious coffee and a quick breaky. The staff are really friendly and the ambience is great, set up in a way where you kind of forget how busy it is outside. If you like hideaway cafe's that are quaint and cozy this would be your spot.
C.
Excellent coffee and service, cute little space shouting cosy the moment you walk in.
One of the few good boutique cafes left in the city.
K.
The space is real cool, the people are super nice. It has an authentic feel. I was exited to go here, but neither of us liked our coffee. Which was surprising. I’m willing to assume that we just got a bad pour or some beans we weren’t into.
R.
Great little coffee shop with good brunch offerings. Awesome standard menu but definitely checkout their specials. I had the acai bowl, affogato, and the almond latte. Strong tasty coffee that hits the spot. The space is decorated with fun little knick knacks, old comic books, small 8 in 1 aracade and cool seating in and out. Totally worth a stop even just for some caffeine. I'd go here again! You order at the counter
J.
The Chai Latte is really good, and the black rice pudding was delicious. It's not a big space so you may not find a seat, but the turnover rate is pretty high. Overall would recommend it.
B.
Small & cosy. Friendly staff and good breakfast 😍
A.
One of the most beautiful cafes in Auckland. The place is cozy, nice, small just what a cafe should look like. The menu is great also with many unique dishes. Highly recommended.
J.
This place it’s so cool! The staff is so friendly, the decoration is awesome, the coffee was the best I ever had in Auckland, and the cheese pretzel 🥨 it’s really good! Guys , continue like this! Definitely not my last time here !
V.
This is my favourite central city cafe. Nice vibe going on there. And importantly, great coffee
H.
I freaking love this cafe I literally come here every single morning. The staff is really nice and I love the soy Moccha. The interior looks super comfortable and really reminds you of a cozy cafe in Europe :)
M.
What a FANTASTIC place to grab breakfast! They were extremely patient and polite with my jet-lagged blurriness and milk allergy, and on top of that they have a superb in-house library that includes a lot of really excellent comics in a wide variety of styles.
A+. Will absolutely be coming back.
M.
Beautiful coffee, tasty sandwiches with fresh ingredients, not expensive.
J.
Great coffee, which isn't saying much if you're from Wellington and stuck in downtown Auckland. However the amazing comic + book libraries place this a cut above the rest, plus the staff are funny cool sexy people. Well done Remedy, I'll he back for many more cups! Take your own along and get a saving on your cuppa too.
T.
Great coffee and gluten free carrot cake. Haven't tried anything else. And did I say there is good coffee? No, seriously, I don't know many places where they can make great coffee and this is one of those exceptions. Plus it looks nerdy with all those books and boardgames.
M.
Had an excellent almond milk latte. The vibe in this place is distinctly hip, and there isn't tons of room inside. But it's a fun atmosphere and it is often busy. Definitely worth a stop!
S.
One of those hidden gem places people are always looking for in the CBD. Great coffee, eclectic food, books and board games galore, a cozy place to relax for an hour alone or with a friend. Limited seating, weekend hours are short. Highly recommended!
C.
Remedy coffee is a nice quirky coffee cafe place. They've good coffee + food. The place if full of retro game boards and books and a good collection of marvel! They even have one of the old fashion joystick arcade machines. And the music is nice. + the sofa is super comfy!
R.
Great coffee & awesome atmosphere. Service is fast & friendly. They got our order wrong but were really quick to try to correct it and offered us free drinks to compensate.
The food is absolutely scrumptious, but there's a limited selection if you arrive after 11am (i.e. once the brekkie menu is no longer available).
R.
Very cosy and nice place to go, definitely ! The employees are always smiling, as friendly as you could imagine ! The music playing there is easy listenable, lots of classics from all horizons ! You can exchange book over there, play with friends on the arcade machine or with cards ! Must-see place for a little break in the day. Amazing place, 5 stars granted easily ! (A little something but, there's no toilets available there, just had to go to the Father's Ted's toilet just nextdoor)
M.
This place is so cool. Lovely interior, cute tables - try a window seat ;-)) - and delicious food. I had breakfast here with a bircher, fruit platter and a bagel. On top of that, the crew is very nice, relaxed and well organized. Loved it.
J.
Good coffee and free WiFi!
R.
Cozy place with a nice view. Great breakfast and friendly staff.
L.
Nice food nice coffee! Friendly staff, very helpful with our mobility needs. Not ideal to enter if wheelchair bound but there is space outside. Would recommend
A.
Great coffee, but the staff seemed to struggle with keeping up with the demand. Long queues, a long wait for food, as well as food options that were only okay make me think this place isn't worth a detour.
B.
Amazing little cafe with wonderful staff and great coffee...
R.
Remedy has been our coffee haven ever since we moved in the city. My partner and I never had a bad coffee here. The staff are lovely and friendly too!
S.
I'm not much of a reviewer but I found this place on Yelp so feel compelled to add some encouragement for others looking at reviews to stop in.
I've been cafe jumping on a very rainy day in Auckland and was looking for somewhere to get some lunch and plan my next move (with free unlimited wifi!) This place has a good amount of seating for a small space (not cramped at all though) including some outdoor/street tables and some open window indoor seating. The vibe is quite hipster and casual with good music and lots of books and games if you are looking for some downtime. Out of 11 customers in here right now about half are reading books with coffee or lunch. Staff are very friendly and on the ball... Big props for that!
I ordered a chicken, bacon, cheddar and avocado sandwich on 5 grain bread and it is sooo good (and only $10). It also came with a complimentary little side salad on the plate. Each slice of bread is about an inch thick so very filling too. I had a coffee shortly before coming here and so didn't want another but I feel like I will order one before I leave because I have a good feeling it's going to be very tasty!
Main menu options: variety of coffee and teas. Salads, sandwiches and bagel options seem to be the bulk of the menu with an acai bowl, muesli, fruit salad and a few other options on there also.
I'm definitely a big fan of this place and would absolutely recommend a visit.
C.
WHY IS THIS PLACE NOT VISIBLE ON THE MAP?!?!? Get your stuff together, Google! A week's visit in Auckland and I was fortunate enough to stumble in here on the way to the airport to head back home to Seattle. Best coffee I've found in Auckland and it's not even close. Delightfully cozy, gorgeous decor with books and board games. I'd almost kill to have this place back home. Hopefully this review helps give it some visibility.
V.
Delicious coffee, free WiFi and happy service. Can't ask for more (didn't try the food so no idea!)
Small space though so be aggressive to get a seat!
A.
I've noticed Remedy but never been in until this morning. Have to say that I could hardly have designed a coffee shop that suits me better. It's probably not for everybody but I loved it. The cozy environment, the friendly service and delish coffee! The books weren't my cup of tea (graphic novels) but they're great for decoration. Awesome find for an early Tuesday :)
L.
Food was great and atmosphere was buzzing!
T.
This is one of my favorite local spots. Great coffee, warm welcome, and books, books galore. It's such a cute spot in town, for a morning read.
M.
Amazing! Very nice place and staff!
E.
Best cafe to grab a coffee and a small bites in a cozy warm vibe anytime. My favorite is breakfast. It makes your day start nice.
Q.
I went here for lunch yesterday! I liked their ice chocolate and smashed avacado on toast. we had to move to three different tables as there was hardly any proper place to sit! Except sitting arrangement rest everything is good!!
T.
It's so hard to find a decent cafe in central Auckland, but Remedy is absolutely central and absolutely fantastic! Great coffee and light meals/snacks. Really cosy and warm vibe. Highly recommended.
A.
Found this quirky coffee shop after arriving too early to get into our hotel room and ended up coming back nearly every day of our stay. Great food, wonderful welcome and well worth a visit.
M.
Awesome little Cafe. Acai bowl was great.
D.
The food here is great. I'm enjoying the new menu and the service is always pretty friendly and efficient. The space can be a bit cramped and the chairs aren't the most comfortable but they're going for that eclectic hipster vibe so I guess that's what you get.
S.
Excellent Mocha. Excellent Chorizo And Avacado sandwich. Excellent Chicken Tarragon sandwich! These guys truly serve a type of remedy!! ❤️👍
L.
Great coffee !! Cozy relaxed place, seems popular among locals and tourists alike. Perfect place for breakfast or brunch and coffee !! Free wi-fi as well... One of the best places in Auckland for your morning
L.
This is a lovely little coffee shop located roght in the city. It was recomended to me from a friend so i visited when having a reunion with another friend from several years ago. The coffee is really great! I had the soy flat white
S.
Pros: Excellent coffee, lovely staff. Rustic atmosphere
Cons: Interior is a bit small. There isn't a lot of power sockets
D.
The coffee glass was so hot I couldn't pick it up. Watch the little steps inside. I wouldn't say it's unfriendly...but it's not exactly welcoming. The barista's the star here.
L.
The. Best. Acai. Bowl. In. Auckland!
D.
Lovely little shop with friendly staff, comfortable place to sit. WiFi for paying customers, too.
G.
Filter coffee was very nice. The salmon bagel was decent and so was the rice pudding!
P.
The bacon roll takes me back home every time. And the coffee is exceptional! Great vibes there
P.
A coffee shop that feels more like your living room than anything else. Cosy, warm and filled with books, magazines and board games. The coffee is great (but not amazing) but the sandwiches and toasties are as delicious as they say.
K.
Friendly staff, convenient location, great coffee.
A.
Really nice coffee shop, an institution in the CBD. Really well ran considering how busy they get every day, just think it could be more efficient. Food was great and coffee was good despite the wait
B.
solid coffee, friendly staff, relaxed vibe music playlist that prompts you to ask what's that unfamiliar but need to know song
D.
After literally walking the entirety of Auckland city one morning in search of decent coffee, we found this nook. With walls stacked with books, comics, and old board games; a barista with a man bun; and an arcade game casually chilling in the corner, it ticked all the boxes of both things I needed and things I hadn't realised I wanted.
Oh, and the coffee was 👌🏼
G.
Small but great if you can get a seat. Relaxing envt, books to read etc. Great coffee. Good toast & selections of spreads.
K.
I visited Remedy twice during my short stay in Auckland for a conference. It's a small, but cozy shop and a good way to meet people. I only wish I lived here so I could visit Remedy more often.

Possibly my new favorite Auckland CBD coffee spot; doubling as a book swap - including a goodly array of graphic novels and comics - haven there is an aura of inclusivity; eccentric and outsider art and objets trove occupy precarious footholds in a gemutlich clutter, the staff are personable and engaging, social and environmental considerations are discreetly evident, the coffee is as melioristic as the name suggests and the victuals tasty, inventive and responsibly priced. Let the healing begin!
J.
Small and cozy coffee shop. Great coffee and good selections of breakfast food. Very friendly staff. I highly recommend this place for breakfast or lunch.

Small and cozy. Not great if you need to plug in your laptop and it's busy, but the WiFi is decent. Matcha latte was good.

Favourite place in Auckland. Love their turmeric latte and chai latte (both refined sugar free and with coconut milk). Great gluten free options and their carb free breakfast is amazing!
S.
I love this place. Came back to Auckland with my partner and I made sure we came here for breakfast. I get the bagels because they let you spread on whatever you like

C.
Beautiful vegan food. Lovely coffee. Great staff. What more could one want?
V.
You know how somehow have places you simply always go to when you're somewhere traveling? Remedy is such a place :). Coffee is off the charts, food is at least at the same level and the place itself is a one of a kind.
P.
