Food was excellent!! Staff were very attentive and friendly. Great to finally go to a Cafe with a decent size table, so many cafes have tables that can barely hold your coffee cup. Will be back to try the omelet next time.

The service is great, ambience, awesome. Food tastes delicious. There's not that many car parks. On the expensive side - that's the only reason I wouldn't give it a 5 star. So much competition.

I saw a photo of the Eggs Benedict so decided to see if it tasted as good as it looked. It was just like the photo and tasted real good. This place was good example of how with low staff levels and plenty of customers, they could still fulfill all orders in timely manor.

This place is a little gem! Never knew it existed, but now I do, will be back for sure!! Short ribs were amazing, and then french toast! OMG WHAT A MEAL! If your ever passing through Rosebank, check this place out. You will not be disappointed!

Lovely omelette served with kumara sourdough, prosciutto, goats feta, shallots, mushrooms, sun-dried tomato and tomato chutney.

Best friend found this place and Im glad she did cause we enjoyed it so much. The food is excellent and the prices are good. Would definitely go again

Food are tasty. I like the squid ink spaghetti, yummy yumy!! Would give 5 star if you can improve your service.

Located on the corner of Rosebank and Jomac Road, the carpark entrance is on Jomac Road. Stopped by for lunch and was fortunate to get a table without booking since it was fairly full. We were warmly greeted at the door and escorted to our table. After a short wait we received menus. Didn't have to wait too long to get our food and drinks ordered. Apart from the menu, they also had food cabinets with goodies like donuts, tarts and truffles. The hot chocolate was nice. The food was even nicer. I had ordered the lamb special and it was quite special. It looked and smelt quite impressive and the taste was really good. Adding the different components on the plate gave different flavours and textures. The lamb was well season and cooked nicely. We even got some dessert to eat later in the afternoon and it was delicious. What got me was how well the place was run. Even though it was full, things didn't stand for too long and everything was running quite smoothly. It was easy to just sit back and enjoy the food.

Very delicious and fresh food. I’m also impressed by the wide range of selections on the menu and the friendly staff. Can’t wait to come back again!

This is the first time I came to Rosebank coffee & kitchen ! Amazing coffee especially flat white and staff were very pleasant. Soft lighting, comfortable temperature and soothing atmosphere. You must come and spend some time with family and friends here!

Fabulous place for coffee and cakes, this is located at the heart of Rosebank Rd business zone, we just simply come for weekend coffee, cakes are wonderful, look wonderful taste wonderful. Friendly staff, modern deco, bright and sunny, trampoline park next door, bring your kids, have a break, highly recommend.

Very clean and lovely cafe, staffs are very friendly, the gnocchi I ordered is a surprise, very special and delicious, my friend and I had a good lunch time today!

Rosebank Coffee & Kitchen is the perfect place for a Ladies Lunch. I celebrated my birthday here last Saturday. Delicious food, drinks & amazing service. Angela our server was so helpful. We will be back.

Incredible food! The price tag is definitely up there but if your willing to dent the wallet a bit, you will be rewarded with absolutely delicious food.

Great coffee, great burger, but gnocchi was inedible pretty sure it was microwaved. Disappointing.

Heard about the french toast online and had to come! Was greeted and seated by a nice guy. Was a bit cold in there, however he turned the heater on so it was comfortable. Coffee was good, crispy potato skins were devine and the French toast stunning! Tasted good and looked so nice 👍 Even though it was close to closing time the overall service was top notch.

Really great customer service. Great coffee, good food. Too cold inside with the ac. My outside table was wobbly so kept spilling my coffee everytime my partner used her knife and fork. It's the flashest spot in Avondale dou.

Though a bit pricey, wonderful plating and nice food. The french toast and rosebank bene were both delish and were in big portions for two people.

The service was very good and the food was nice too but a bit on the bland side. We had salmon bene, scrambled eggs with bacon and creamy mushrooms on the side. Our spicy Chai latte was interesting, will not be having that again.

Ordered different dishes to try out, all were new flavours to me! A bit expensive but food is amazing. Must try place to eat out west. Try the potato skin. :)

Located just off the Rosebank road, has decent parking space. The care is usually quite and lovely spot for a meeting or if you want to get that work done. The service and food good. We tried the famous Crispy Potato skin and it was worth it, extra aioli sauce without any extra cost. Highly recommend for small group

I hosted a function here a few months back and it was fantastic. Carlos planned a great set menu, the service was top notch, and we had a wonderful time.

Ordered food for catering for my child's birthday. They did a fantastic job and here's the reasons why I gave them 5 stars - They worked to make things that could be eaten by both children and adults so the food was lighter in seasoning and had less sugar. They also cut the portions smaller so it was easier for children to eat. - They made the food fresh so the chicken tenders and potatoes were still hot and the muffins were warm. The muffins were a surprise hit as a warm berry muffin was amazing to eat. - Little additional details like making sure that they kept the box open to keep steam from making food soggy and making sure I carried the box on the bottom to prevent the food boxes collapsing shows attention to detail and pride in their work. I love people who show care and pride in their craft and service these guys are great examples of that. I will definitely be back to eat at their cafe!

Excellent service here, wish I could give more than 5 stars! I came here with my 10-week-old puppy, stood outside the door and made eye contact with a server. She immediately grinned and dashed outside to greet me and the pup. She took my order, gave Smoky a dog bowl with water and even brought the EFTPOS machine outside for me. Amazing!! Wish I’d got the server’s name so I could specifically thank her. The coffee and cheese scones were also really well done, up to scratch. Two coffees and two scones were $19 for reference. Great job, Rosebank.

Stopped in for a Thursday night burger, really nice and the potatoe nuggets amazing. Glad to have this place in Avondale.

Amazing food from the chef. Great presentation .excellent service . The only down fall is they there was a small dog opposite us inside the cafe .and the smell from the dog was extremely potent. It had nearly ruined the amazing experience. Other than that it was amazing .

Okay, let's give it a crack!" So glad we did! The food is awesome, the coffee fantastic, and the service really friendly and attentive! Great veg and vegan options too. The Drunken Mushrooms and Bacon/ Mushroom Bene were beautiful. And we loved some of the small touches: the Long Black coffee service on the serving board, the fermented pumpkin and cauli puree with some of the dishes. Everything was superb! Even if you're not local this place is worth the commute! Enjoy!!

Very nice cafe in the industrial area of Avondale. We came here with a big group, babies, dogs and more. We did have to choose a table outside even though we called and booked), but the staff were great and friendly. I had the Drunken Mushrooms, which was ok. Some of the others had the Eggs in Hell and the eggs Benedict, which were pretty good. All in all, a nice place. Drinks and alcohol are bit on the pricier side.

Good parking,prompt service food looked good but was missing flavour of the herbs that was supposed to be on the dish. Toilets smelt good but the auto paper dispenser was not working so had to leave with very wet hands.

CORRECTION It has been brought to my attention that my previous review for "Rosebank Coffee & Kitchen" was incomplete and the Star Rating was incorrect. My deepest apologies to the owner. Apparently l never got around to completing a review of what we had on the day we had lunch there. As far as l can recall, there was a very good selection on offer on your menu and that the meals we had there was very good and well priced. The Staff there were pleasant and friendly and having that outdoor space makes it a great spot during Summer. So, Yes I would most definitely recommend the place. 👍

If you are looking for a place to hang out with a group of friends and families for a nice and cosy weekend brunch, meanwhile have high expectations of good coffee and food, here is defenitely a perfect choice. I should have took some pictures of their beautiful presentations, which lift your appetite onto a new level. A must come place! Got try their The Cut of the Day if you are a meat lover, Yummy!

This place has really great customer service. I love the decor it is fresh and contemporary. The food is AWESOME! really generous quantities and the flavours are delicious. Sparkling water is available which is cool, and the staff are always willing to give a recommendation. Love this place and will definitely be going back in the future.

Had a really nice coffee at this place yesterday. There was a mix of clientele of all ages including families groups and singles. The café is really well-designed, light, modern and airy and there is an outdoor seating area that will be great in summer. The owner makes the pastries and I can speak for the chocolate cream filled donuts which are very good indeed! They have an alcohol licence and there was a whole Serrano ham behind the bar, which looked promising - on my next visit I'll be going for some of that, with a glass of wine to go with it.

Amazing food. Excellent service and an amazing space. The host greeted us immediately upon arrival and was courteous and efficient. A waiter was promptly dispatched to our table and drink orders taken. Adequate time was provided to choose our meal selection. We both chose the pork bun which was delivered in a timely manner. The pork bun was divine and I would highly recommend it.

Barely scrapes a 3/5 for me. They had barely any Vegan options and were not accomodating at all to Veganising their existing menu. Everything else was just... fine.

Sustainability is at the forefront of this place! Soo happy that they are embracing the use of keep cups. Just went for my regular weekend coffee with my keep cup and they gave me a discount and extra loyalty stamps. This is THE BEST!!! So happy to see this . Oh and the coffee is really good too. My husband and I love going out every Saturday morning to cafes. And this cafe was just beautiful! The interior design is simple yet welcoming. I really appreciated how the staff was knowledgeable about the menu and even gave me the option of having the special of the day when I asked. But I ordered the omelet instead because it looked interesting on the menu. It was like opening up a Christmas present. Every cut into the omelet was a surprise - first the onion then mushroom and then the explosion of the sour cheese taste!! Thank you for the lovely experience! We will deff come back :)

Nice muffin and crispy potato skins

Been here 2 years ago and went there again today.It was great 2 years ago, the eggs benny with beef short ribs this time was not great.The beef was tough and potato rosti was not fully cooked in the middle.Oh well, the coffe and squid tentacles were good.

Been here a few times, everything I've eaten has been utterly delicious. Every element of each dish is carefully chosen and combined in sometimes surprising but delicious combinations, and uses sophisticated cooking techniques you'd expect in a high-end restaurant. Nothing like the typical average NZ cafe, which is a good thing. Its a little more expensive perhaps, but worth every penny.

Great coffee. I also loved the vegan option, I was pleasantly surprised that cauliflower could taste so good. Would love to see another vegan option in future! Great little desserts also, very well presented. Nice clean atmosphere.

Very hip cafe with a great vibe. With its industrial chic interior everything about this place is instagram worthy including your meal. Great staff who are all very friendly and quick to help. And the food is divine couldn't fault it, great presentation and an amazing mix of flavours. A friend introduced me to this place and now I tell all my friends about it, everyone loves it!!!

Atomic coffee here. Friendly staff that want to look after you. Very flash interior, but also very expensive as far as cafes go but definitely a cut above the rest. We weren't happy after I took a friend their with our order (surprisingly after I'd been singing it up) and they addressed it and gave us a free item. So hats off to them for trying their best

Decent place for coffee and food. We had the roast potato skin, omelette and beef brisket and mole. Definitely enjoyed the mole and beef. Potato skin was good and well fried but was on the salty side. We had the chai and was pretty good. Enjoyed the ambience especially for rosebank road

Standards are declining faster than The Warriors finals hopes at the end of a season. We live local so dine here frequently, I often work from here, i go to the gym next door and often get coffees afterwards - some would even say I'm a regular. Today I ordered the omelette, on which they've changed the filling from a decadent ricotta-based pleasure power-house to something resembling tomato ketchup which overpowers everything else on the plate (I can still taste ketchup 30mins later). When it arrived it was served with what can only be described as a tiny piece of toast, I ordered some more which took ~20mins to arrive despite me being the only person in the restaurant ordering food... When the toast finally came it was burnt. Several times I attempted to get the attention of the staff but they were too busy chatting so I had to go up to the counter to ask for anything else I wanted to order. Gawwwd I sound like a whiny brat but it was pretty disappointing. None of the 3-4 bathrooms even had hand-towels. I give it 2 stars because the coffee was good, I have fond memories of their doughnuts, and I feel bad for the male barista who was cleaning the whole place from floor to ceiling despite his colleagues chatting - keep fighting the good fight brother!! ‐- Edit: I've since been back multiple times and can say that things are back on track at Rosebank Cafe! Coffee is still great and they have a good friendly team of people.

Sunday brunch. Very nice, eggs Benedict on fritters were excellent. And great coffee. Will be pruning the green tea going into the teapot in future! Self help saw me too generous on the tea leaves.

Great new eatery in Avondale! Stylish, modern interior and beautifully presented food. I had the Bread Gnocchi for brunch and it tasted just as good as it looked! My boyfriend got the French Toast and it too was delicious (SO FLUFFY!). The staff were all very friendly and interested in having a chat, not just taking your order. Will be back for sure!

Such a classy cafe in Avondale. Food matches the upmarket decor. Watch out for that display cabinet eat first with your eyes tastes as good as it looks. You will be glad you popped in.

Seemed quite lively but not my cup of tea, prefer something a little more relaxed. Maybe being seated at a table in the centre with a lot of activity around us contributed to that. Long black presented well but unfortunately over done. Benedict was good, had the bacon and mushroom medley version which had nice flavours but the bacon was more like chopped ham. Needed some caramelization on the meat to make it bacon-y. Small menu. An okay first experience.

So stoked to call this my local. The coffee is faultless, the fit out to the cafe is extremely stylish and modern, very refreshing for west of Ponsonby to get something of this high standard. The food is a work of art, flavour wise and presentation. A small but sensational range of craft beer on tap also. My only negative is that they don't show any prices on their cabinet food at all. It's a trick, as they are quite expensive so make sure you ask how much that cake is before purchasing. I really hope they rectify this. Apart from this, A++

Yummy food and great service!

Great local eatery, adventurous flavours and great quality ingredients. The potatoe skins are to die for and the shanghai mayo served with it is addictive. Venison pictured was delicious and came with a braised ravioli educ was tender and came with a goji berry's and a coffee crumb. Great Cafe a little hard to spot whilst travelling down the main road but I assure you it's there, located on the corner along from Jump.

Good food, Good Coffee, Friendly efficient staff. Combined with a nice clean modern decor its definitely the best Cafe in the area.

Very nice breakfast. Amazing looking sweet cabinet (didn't indulge but very tempting). Not really set up for kids but all the staff were very accommodating and friendly.

This is just what Avondale needed, a quality cafe with great coffee! Food is presented beautifully and highly recommend the cheese scones and potato/apple rostis. Sadly we've just left the area, but have recommended to all the locals we know.

Good food (the donut is really nice) but abit pricey and worse they even charge $2 for a little cup of tomato sauce!

Ok lacked flavour came here yesterday 6/10/2020 Menu designed for bekkie not a great deal for lunch. Not cheap. Need more waiting staff though staff were very good.

Disappointing experience today at Rosebank, the coffee orders were really slow, it was cold inside & we were placed at a high table when we were there with kids which is really challenging! Also paying $22 for a breakfast - please can I have two pieces of sourdough!

A great selection of food; great atmosphere, was able to book a booth for our group, and were very well looked after (also free still and sparking water for the table).

Coffee fabulous but staff could be a bit friendlier. I had a child and needed a high chair but had to look around and get it myself. It wasn’t that busy either.

So so good..I was working in the area for the day and found this place. The food was terrific. I had the avocado on toast (cliche) but it was excellent! Lots of great tastes not plain. Very well worth the visit whether you live in the area or not
