Really fast and friendly service. I asked for French Toast with bacon the first time but still got bacon, then I ordered again today and asked for blueberries instead of bananas and bacon and I got it. Still too sweet for my liking but it ain't too bad.

My first time trying this cafe. Had coffee with friends and even though the place is small, it has sheltered outdoor seating which I think is very nice. Ordered a spiced chai latte, I feel it is average for my liking. Very nice and welcoming staff who greet you when you arrive and also thank you when you leave. Overall good first time experience but hopefully I get try something on the food menu next time.

Went here today and I got to say. There's a good selection of food and drinks available at good prices. The staff are well mannered and ready to help whenever they can. The place itself has outside seating and indoor seating which is good you have those options. I would recommend this place to all.

Lovely food! It’s always fresh and hot. Corn fritters are a favourite of mine - they’re packed with goodness and come paired with a lovely relish. The coffee is more than halfway decent (excellent in my opinion) and I’ll admit, I cannot resist their gingerbread men. The staff are friendly and always provide quality service.

Went here for breakfast and got enjoy this fabulous French Toast with crispy bacon, fried bananas, mascarpone, and vanilla syrup. It was absolutely fantastic. I wish I had stayed longer to be able to enjoy it again! The flat white was also really tasty. The staff was nice and service quick.

Great place to get good coffee & a bite to eat, from thier selection of delicious cakes, pastries, sandwiches and savourys. The place has great atmosphere, friendly staff & outdoor seating to enjoy your food while watching the world go by.... Situated in Mangere Bridge Village, handy to a variety of shops, including a supermarket, so you can get a lot done in one stop... They open at 5:30am with a great breakfast menu which is awesome, & close at 3:pm, every day except Mondays....

Lovely breakfast here this morning while waiting to pick the doggy up from Mangere vet. Omelette & five grain toast was delish & husband had mince on sourdough which he said was very flavourful. Coffee and service also super fast despite being very busy and very friendly.

BEST COFFEE IN TOWN! My go-to coffee order is their delicious White Mocha with a Coconut Milk 🥰 But also their omelettes are REALLY DELICIOUS!!!! They are generous with all their fillings and nothing gets left in their pan. Another thing i love about Ruby Red is their customer service. Everyone is lovely no matter who is serving you. (Extra Brownie points for remembering peoples orders too hehe) 10/10

Consistently good and the best mince on toast in NZ. Been eating here for 7 years and the service is always excellent. They will make adjustments to menu items without hesitation if you have dietary requirements - try a “haloumi buttie.” They are often open when no one else is and never bother with surcharges etc. They’ve made me coffee during power cuts, and on the very first morning in level three after the big lockdown, there they were bright and early safely serving me a long-awaited long black and cinnamon brioche. Also, dog friendly. Thanks for being awesome, Ruby Red.

Well, what can I say...from the moment my friend and I walked in, to our departure a few hours later we were treated like members of this delightful cafe's family. The service was prompt, friendly and the food and beverages exceeded our expectations. After perusing the menu, I settled on the steak salad and was very impressed with the flavours and serving size. Deciding to treat myself, I opted for a piece of chocolate brownie from the cabinet for dessert and was happy to find it was gluten free and delicious. I will be back again soon to this gem of a cafe.

Visited this cafe Saturday 24th June and ordered coffee and food to take away. The services was great, really friendly and welcoming. They accidentally left a cookie out of our order. Sunday the 25th we stopped in on way to a seminar to get coffee and they remembered and handed over the cookie with apologies. It was nice to come across such a nice cafe with great food and service.

Nice local cafe that does a great cup of coffee. The menu is concise with typical cafe fare at reasonable prices. They also have a well stocked cabinet of sandwiches, cakes and pastries with gluten free and organic food well catered for. On a warm day, grab up one of their outdoor tables or sit inside for cosy comfort when the weather is cool.

17Oct16 I've been here three times - each time during the week and the last two times on a Wednesday nights. On those nights the restaurant was very empty. But the food is fast and fantastic. I can never get enough of the rice here, very nice. Great, attentive, service too. There is carparking at the rear.

Streetside Cafe. The panini was nice. Good coffee. They closed at 3pm, so we had to leave. We'd arrived about 2pm. The seating is limited. Mostly old stuff. Definitely up to the job. Just not likely to exceed expectations. The staff are friendly when ordering and indifferent afterwards.

When you're not feeling as frugal as I am most days, head to Ruby Red and treat yourself to the Big Breakfast. A slight up-grade from the casual mixed grill. Comes with a gourmet pork sausage (gf), roast potatoes, creamy mushroom (nice and light), bacon, eggs (any style), wholegrain toast with butter and tomato. Gotta give butter some cred, doesn't come cheap these days. A decent sized plate of brekkie goodness so make sure to go on an empty stomach!
