V.Great for families. A real warm feel to it. Perhaps not the most hip or modern but they serve good food at a reasonable price. Definitely recommend. Photos are of the big breakfast and B.L.A.T burger.

M.This cafe was a really pleasant surprise. We were expecting boring tourist priced basic food but instead got some really nice dishes. The beans were home made and the coffee was tasty. Even though the cafe was constantly busy the staff were friendly and helpful. An addedadded bonus for Pokémon go users is thatthe cafe is also a Pokémon gym.

N.Coffee was good but chips were so brown, like the oil needed changing! Rest if food was good. They could do with a good paint job on the outside of their building brighten the place up a bit.
M.It's a good place to get the kids an ice cream. Sucks that we can't sit inside if we order coffees, hot chips and ice cream as it's rated as takeaway food and big sign says no eating inside with takeaway food.
The coffee is average but appreciate it being far from any good cafe.
The fish and chips and burgers are really expensive. Be careful with the fish too as you MUST request fresh fish otherwise you get the gross cardboard type at a premium price. Chips are good.
C.Not a bad place at all...coffee was good and a small selection of slices, muffins and savouries. Didn't get to try any of the meals but by the looks of the menu it's pretty good. Maybe next time for me.

C.Yeah it was alright, coffee was nice, after reading a couple of other reviews that said the coffee was weak I had my doubts, but my long black was nice and strong enough for me (I like mine really strong)
Food was decent but imo overpriced for the quality, but considering where the cafe is, that's understandable, $25 for the big breakfast. Poached eggs was nice but my partner said her eggs bene with salmon wasn't great, the salmon was smoked but cold, and the bagel was tough
We tried coming here for takeaways last night (at 4:30pm) to be told that the takeaways close at 4:15... On a Saturday...
So there's no choice for dinner in Muruwai that we know of
F.Great cabinet and cafe food as well as well priced well made takeaway food for eating at the outdoor seating. Great hot drinks and lovely being able to have ice creams right at the beach. Lovely indoor seating areas and back room is gorgeous with comfy couches.
Only downside is they close a little early in the afternoons when there's still plenty of visitors about.
Excellent cafe and take outs otherwise.
M.Nice little cafe, decent coffee. They have a good selection of menu and cabinet food. They also serve ice cream and hits chips. Fast service especially considering we went on a very busy public holiday. Not too far from the beach and there is lots of parking around.

T.What a delight and a surprise find. Don’t waste your time paying for over priced food in waimauku or Kumeu. Drive a little bit further to The beach at muriwai. This place doesn’t look much from the outside but the food is superb and the best prices for quality and quantity in Auckland
Delicious BLT surprises me with how big it was, good ole fashioned chips and the service terrific.

O.The chicken pesto sandwich was delicious and really good coffee too, staff was also friendly with a great atmosphere. Definitely a great place to check out when you're in Muriwai.
F.Ordered fish n chips and potato fritter and it was delicious! Well cooked, fresh fish and hot chips were well cooked and crispy. Nice and quick service too.
c.Really good Chicken burger, definitely the best I have had in ages same with chips both good value, however the ice tea cost $4.50?!?! Which is such a rip-off as a 1.5L bottle from the supermarket costs $3!!!
M.A beautiful location to relax with a coffee and meal
A.Its usually good service and meals, but I think it is a bit pricy especially when I asked for more aioli for my fish and chips they charged me $2 for a very small container. I also visited it recently to buy chorizo and mushroom on toast for my lunch and wanted to share it with my partner as I couldn't finish it last time, when I was served I got disappointed with the portion size. it was much smaller than the previous time when I purchased it about a month ago.
J.Has coffee after a gnarly drive up the beach. Always flat tack busy though never any parking and the staff can be a bit on the fireball side. In other words, there is hot coffee. There is nothing else in the area except up the road if you want to brave parking there instead. Cheers.
P.Great chips, awesome actually. Minor thing but don't buy the thickshakes, $7.80 for what I call a plastic shake, that thickening agent they use which taste awful and you feel ripped off.
W.This is the place to have a coffee and some muffin, after enjoying the gorgeous beach and the gannet colony in Muriwai. This is one of the best kept secret in Muriwai. The place is nice, the service is good and fast. Prices are okay.

S.After a long day swimming, surfing and flapping around in the sand, this is the perfect place to grab fish and chips.. oh God the plum sauce wedges!!!. Even just a ice cream goes down a treat from these guys.
