J.Sozo is my local coffee house and it's not just th coffee that's stand out. The family run business has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all ages and pet lovers. Jason and the team always have a smile on whist serving up some of the best eats out west. If you haven't been in, why not.....?
C.Such good food and coffee! Can't get here often enough!! as closed on my day off,or friends are over the other side of west Auckland. Loved it !!! Can't wait to come back: Melt in the mouth quiche so fresh and lovely sweets also mmmm!

J.Its a small humble Cafe with great staff and food. We love that it has a little play area for kids which allows us to eat in peace! Its really a hidden little gem in Glen Eden. Don't under estimate it being hidden, it does get pretty busy in the morning! Would highly recommend their coffee and their panini!
Also love how this cafe is not just about business but it gives to charity as well!

S.So glad we found this place. Really lovely coffee, simple but delicious menu with very reasonable prices. Great ambiance with friendly helpful staff. Can’t wait to try their cold brew in summer!
The only things that would make this place even better would be a gluten free option for the waffles (hint: two fat chefs kapiti might be nice enough to share their perfect recipe)
Also a spicier chai latte (hakanoa original is delish!)

Most of the profits go to a orphanage and widows in india <3 kiddy friendly, cute little library. Would give more stars if i could. Edit: been back a few times since this review the place just gets better and better! great warm welcoming attentitive staff great community vibe they do live music events which i can't wait to check out!! defnitley up there with one of the best places to eat out west, allways pumping with a great mix of friendly locals even have cute art and crafts and plants for sale, great way to support local eco friendly packaging too A++++
T.Nice place for breakfast friendly staff and lovely food
S.This little place, which is tucked away behind the main block of shops, is a treat not to be missed. Discovered quite by chance one afternoon. The staff are outstanding matched by the superb coffee (if in doubt ask for a recommendation as the iced vanilla coffee I had a few months ago really hit the spot) and the food. Mince on toast yum. Prices are also great value for money.

M.We had breakfast here, coffee was great. All our meals were yummy, we highly recommend the breakfast pizza and pulled pork waffle, all meals are great value for money. Service was friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend, but come early as it gets very busy!
F.Such an amazing little place! There isn't a huge selection of food but what they have is just perfect! Wonderful berry muffins and delicious savoury pinwheels, chocolate whisky fudge slice, well filled bagels etc. The beverages are great, coffee made from their own coffee beans. The atmosphere is lovely, it's very homely and you feel very welcome. It is family run and you actually feel like part of the family just walking in the door. Kind of like a 'Kiwi cafe' version of' Cheers'. It's my new favourite Cafe! 😀

T.Walking into Sozo feels like walking into your own home. It exudes relaxed charm. The staff are chilled and personable, the coffee good. The meals are scrumptious, and there are amazing gluten free and vegetarian options available that are actually tasty. One of our favourites.

A.Perfect place to go with friends, family or on your own. The owner Jason makes excellent coffee and is always up for a little chat with his clients. Saturday mornings there is often some good live music. This is a coffee place you want to go for its welcoming atmosphere and for the people you are going to meet. A little drive is definetely worth the experience :)

G.Been here twice, disappointed both times, (my order of a hazelnut flavoured, small flat white) was below average but the baked goods are nice as well as the atmosphere and decor. Staff is average, I feel they favourite and are nicer to regulars.

K.I have been watching this place evolve. I love the rustic look and location. The coffee is top notch (although we had a friendly disagreement as to the defintion of my preferred drink). The gluten free friand was the best Ive ever eaten, not overly sweet ( important), lots of fruit and a delicate texture. The focused cook was whipping up what looked like little individual rustic pizzas. The menu looked fresh and inspired, there was a pulled pork waffle with lots of special touches to accompany it, which had me planning my next three visits just to satisfy my curiosity. The reading material was also way above average as well.
An excellent choice for those who like artisan foods and supporting local businesses... and even a charity or two, since the owners have shared profits with a school in a "developing country". Civilized? Yes, Id say so.
A.One of those cafes where you feel like you can relax as if you are at home. Great food and bubbly atmosphere. Could do with few more food options and just a touch of more cleanliness. But honestly great place and would recommend.

There's a spot at the back of the shop which not only doubles as a stage for any live music that is performed here, but it's also stocked with a great selection of toys for the little ones, so they can play while enjoying a fluffy.
Check out the doors on the ceiling for a novel way to hang plants...
B.Cosy, club like ambience. Furniture includes long tables to small tables for 2 to armchairs. It says to make yourself at home. This is your place.
